*Gothika walked up to the professors desk and grabbed a jar off of it. She smiled as the first name popped into her head.* "I'm going to call you Salazar Slytherin after my favorite hogwarts founder." She said softly to the beetle in the jar. *she walks back to her desk and takes the lid off of it and let's the beetle crawl up onto her finger. She let out a soft giggle seeing as how the beetles legs tickled a little bit. She then pulled out her wand and pointed it at the bettle.* "Sorry about this Salazar, but i have to do this. Engorgio" *She watched as the beetle grew in size.* "Fibula" *she watched as her beetle turned into her two favorite colors of green and black with four holes. She smiled when she saw she had done it right on the first try. She had always struggled with those two spells and was proud of herself for mastering them*

Kisaki copies down the incantations and reaches for her beetle. She pulls out her wand and casts, "Engorgio," the beetle doubles in size. Kisaki shrinks back, a bit disgusted. She then says, "Fibula," the beetle morphs into a small, circular disk followed by the four holes appearing. It had become a simple black and white button.

Spork walks into the room and immediately takes a seat towards the middle of the room.
Hello Professor Zillah. I just started my classes today, but I've done some reading to try and catch up.
I've decided to take your class because my mother has a Masters in Transfiguration and she was rather insistent. I would also love to try and become an Animagus. But, Mother has taught me well, so I hope to catch up fairly quickly.
Spork takes a match from the counter and says the incantation Necessitaibus. The match changes into a needle. Spork then says the incantation Acus and changes it back into a match.
Spork grabs a jar from the table and stares at it uneasily, muttering to herself, "Why did it have to be beetles?"
Spork reluctantly uses the Engorgio charm to enlarge the beetle. However after saying the incantation Fibula to change it into a button, the beetle merely changes color.
Sorry Professor, I think my fear of beetles is getting in the way of my doing the transfiguration correctly. Anyway, I'll owl you with the homework about Switching Spells as soon as I can.

Heart shyly approaches her professor's desk and gently takes her beetle. A look of focus flashes in her eyes as she walks to her desk. The soft spell of "engorgio" is nearly inaudible as the beetle on her desk grows twice its original size. Tapping the oversized bug once more, a silver and blue button rolls of the surface of the desk after "fibula". Blushing, she crouches to retrieve the heart-shaped object from the floor, then turning to return to her seat.

"great minds must think alike then Aludra because i didnt read your post. once something pops into my head i run with it after i read the last posts or something like that." Gothika said looking at the Slytherin. *Gothika then picked up her button and slipped it into her book bag and started to clear her desk with the exception of her transfiguration book and after she did that she sat back down and started reading about the next lesson.*

"Ill try not to." Gothika said with a smirk and went back to reading her book, while thinking 'this is going to be an interesting term. She's an actual slytherin where as i'm a slytherin at heart and we both have the same thinking pattern.' She started copying down some notes that she thought were important on the lesson that they just finished and then started on some notes for the next lesson.

 Professor Zillah has been busy as of late. She's informed me of the counterspell. If you want to change your button back, use the spell coleoptera. *Pauses and points her want at what used to be Ringo* Coleoptera. *The button resumes its original form of Ringo the Beetle*
