In his beetle form, Notwen scuttled towards the sentries, concentrating on keeping an pace identical to the one of the beetle. After a few minutes of laborious crawling, he had reached the first sentry. The dummy kept gazing in the direction it was facing. Another few feet and Notwen had gotten past two other sentry dummies, who were turning their heads in order to scan a wider area. So far, so good... he thought, approaching the fourth dummy. This one sensed something amiss and started to move in Notwen's general direction. When it got too close, Notwen used the bug's wings to fly the rest of the way to the compound. He expected to feel a weighted net entangling itself over his small bug frame, but it never came. Yes!! I'm in the compound! thought the long-haired blonde, landing behind a small building a few yards away from the target's. "Now to wait for the others."

Quote: Sneaking past the sentries~ (Agix2) + Stealth buffs vs 200) (20x2) + 0 vs 200 40 vs 200 = 50 -16 = 34% + 10%(Awesome map power) = 44% WOW, SORRY INU/DEN, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO SAVE MY a** AGAIN. Sentries. That was their next obstacle, they had to maneuver around them and get to their target. Now, Yuki didn't have Byakugan or Sharingan to help him through it like his other two comrades, but he had smarts, right? Hisaki quickly briefed them on the sentries. Avoid them or they will shoot nets at you, sounds simple. But didn't the nets have something to do with Genjutsu? I remember Hisaki complained about the whole thing being genjutsu related... Either way, Yuki followed Notwen, so far the Uchiha has passed every trap flawlessly, quite the opposite of himself. When they reached their next obstacle, the other blond told him that he was going first, and to get Hisaki if anything goes wrong. Yuki nodded in agreement as his comrade noticed a beetle, and seemed to chase after it. "What is he..." Yuki began, but immediately acknowledged his plan as the other Genin transformed into the beetle. After a moment or two, the Yamanaka lost sight of the insect, and began inspecting the sentries with the weird faces. They had huge X's over the eyes, Yuki guessed it was for humorous reasons, and every so often they would rotate. He sat there for a few moments, making notes how long one would stay and he estimated the range of their eyesight. Yuki slid down the trunk, copying what Notwen did. He counted in his head. It would take Dummy A five seconds to look in this direction before turning, but he couldn't move for another seventeen seconds because of Dummy D would turn in this direction and then another. The Yamanaka sprinted towards a nearby tree, growing near the compound during his few seconds of immunity. Now, another twenty two seconds before you can move again to get closer to the compound, courtesy of Dummy E. He dashed towards his next destination, and hesitated again. I just ran by Dummy A, B, D, E, and G. I don't have to worry about C and F because they are patrolling the other side of the compound. However, Dummy H and J, which are close by, are stationary, while Dummy I and K simultaneously swap lookout spots, making the next pass near impossible. Now I could backtrack and then make a large circle out of their eyesight, but that would be counterproductive. He tried to think out his next move, but it was difficult. Another minute passed while he sat in his idle sanctuary, before realizing the moment he had. Yuki could catch up to Notwen if he could sprint inside the compound between the five seconds Dummy I and K presented between their swapped positions. He took the chance, dashing forwards with his impervious moment of five seconds. However, the physically unfit Yuki did not make it. Dummy K immediately directed his full attention to the sprinting Yamanaka and launched its net at him. Yuki's reflexes made him dodge to the side, right into Dummy I's launched net. He yelped as the net sent him crashing to the ground, crippling any movement he might have had. The Genin struggled as much as he could to wriggle out of the net from the now alert sentries, as both Dummy I and K continued to stare at him. That is when it hit him. Yuki has failed. He will never become a chuunin. He'll go home and tell his father how much he sucked at the exams. Masaki will be outraged and will quit any type of training he would give his son. His mother would even be upset and would refuse to acknowledge his existence. Hisaki wouldn't want to be on his team anymore. In fact, he will go ask Notwen right after the exam to see if he would like to join Him and Aya on missions because that 'Yamanka boy' isn't responsible enough or reliable to be a partner to. Yuki was pretty sure that even the elders of Konoha will make him go back to the academy to keep learning on how to not suck at life. Yuki kept trying to make excuse or explain to everyone why he failed at everything up til now, he was trying to keep his composure. He felt like he was seconds away from just breaking down. He mumbled something, from underneath the net, as he thrusted his hand outwards for help.

Quote: Sneaking past the sentries (Agix2) + Stealth buffs vs 200 (10 + 10 (side step))x2 + 30 (Flash Step) = 70 Stealth vs 200 = -13% = 37% Passed biggrin Hisaki sighed as he watched from behind the tree line. Hisaki first viewed Notwen's attempt across. He snuck up silently, then used an odd form of the transformation jutsu to transform into a beetle. Hisaki had to quickly shift to his Byakugan to keep an eye on the insectoid teammate. The scuttling blip of chakra scampered across the ground quickly, literally right beneath the puppet-like sentry's noses. The beetle-blip scampered up to the base, and turned around to wait for it's companions. Now Yuki was going to move in. Yuki had been following very close behind Notwen, until Notwen shifted into bug-mode, and disappeared (as far as Yuki was concerned at least). Hisaki puffed at his cigarette as he carefully monitered the actions Yuki made. It was obvious that every movement was planned second by second. For Yuki, Hisaki thought, This isn't any tougher than his usual logic puzzle or mind game. I bet he's already analyzed the timing of each sentry, and has a path and time scheduled for each one.Hisaki seemed to be right. Each dash from cover to cover was specifically timed to when the sentries weren't looking his way. However, Yuki screwed up. Hisaki's eyebrows furrowed, and he said rather grumpily, "Yea, Yuki-boy needs some speed training. This is getting mad ridiculous." In the final dash, Yuki didn't make the cut, and in his slow-run, was trapped with one of the crazy genjutsu nets. The boy writhed a bit, but then the genjutsu appeared to set in. From his body language, Hisaki could guess it was making him feel pretty pathetic. After a moment lying still, Yuki seemed to meagerly reach out for help. Hisaki shook his head, and took a long draw of his cigarette, "I thought this woulda' been an easy one." Hisaki jumped behind a tent outside the sentry area, and pulled out the blank scroll he got his gourd from. Hisaki flipped the paper roll in his hand, then carefully lobbed it at a small building, making a loud smack. The two closest dummies turned and fired. Upon their nets hitting an imaginary target, they glided over to invesigate. This far into the nest of tents and sheds, there was no additional help for them. Hisaki sprinted behind, and busted up behind them in a flicker. Hisaki drew a pair of kunai, one in each hand, and stabbed both dummies in the back of the head. With a second smash, their heads caved in on the wooden supports they had been inspecting, causing a sort of oily lubricant to spurt out in a most blood-like fashion. Hisaki quickly drew the kunai out of the puppet heads, and dashed behind cover before another sentry caught sight of the boy. Just as he expected, the sentries payed no mind to their oil-spurting brethren, and continued their duties. Next there were three more ground troops close by, two more near the inner circle, and two just in front of the threshold. Hisaki scratched his chin thoughtfully, then clapped his fist into his other open hand. Hisaki flickered from one cover to the next, and drew his blade. In a quick, flickering slice, he decapitated the first of three. For the second, Hisaki dived into the safety of one of the tents. When the dummy patrolled by, Hisaki stabbed through the thin tent wall, and speared the dummy, who frantically shot off a net or two before going limp. Two down, one to go.The final dummy was in a more strategic location than the last two. However, it was simple work for a few shuriken. With a powerful throw, Hisaki slung a small group of shuriken at the next dummy, who flailed and fell backward at the sudden attack. In it's fall, it knocked over one of the tents, and in response, the vigilant dummies behind it fired nets instinctively. The third dummy was neutralized. Hisaki moved forward, diving from tent to tent, up to the thinning defense. Hisaki looked back at the last five dummies he'd taken down. Then he looked at the next four. Two were stationary, and two more were constantly in motion around Yuki. Hisaki took a poof of his cigarette, and instantly noticed the reaction from a stationary drone. Crap, these ones are a bit more aware then the other ones. If I keep my butt, they might catch sight of me and capture me. Gotta dump it... Sorry buddy. Hisaki threw the cigarette to the ground, and stepped on it carefully. Now to get a different position... Hisaki withdrew, and got around to the side of the stationary one that had almost spotted him before. Hisaki slid beneath the fabric of a tent, and quickly speared the dummy with his katana. A lightning quick rip upwards pulled the dummy's head right off it's body with a spurt. Hisaki withdrew into the tent as the dummy fell limp to the ground, and carefully removed the puppet head from his sword. Now there were only three left. A simple kunai throw to the side of the second stationary dummy's head made the count two. The last two were the dummies standing over the lifeless Yuki. These two were going to be tough, but maybe with enough speed, he'd make it. Hisaki made his way from one tent to the next, up until he'd have to make a mad dash to either the door or to Yuki's captives. While he could run to the door and just finish the mission, it seemed like it would have been a better plan to finish the deed and take out the last two dummies. Hisaki got into a runners position, except with one hand at his Blade of Oblivion instead of on the ground. Hisaki then dashed straight through the middle at the lighting-fast bots. A wall of net came hurtling at Hisaki, but an equally fast set of battojutsu slashes crippled the attack. Once within range, Hisaki slashed one of the dummy's across the chest, and sliced the other one's head in two. Black lubricant poured from the cuts, and the pair of puppets fell to the ground, inactive. Hisaki looked around, and whispered, "Looks like we're good for now! Time to haul Yuki out of this thing..."

From his vantage point behind the building, Notwen saw Yuki make several dashes to hide behind trees that would hide him from the sentries' field of vision. "Smart tactic! Maybe i can learn a couple of things from him." said the long-haired blonde silently to himself, then his heart sank. It appeared that the Yamanaka was going to try to dash past a pair of sentries that were in transit to their new posts. Scanning the scenario with his sharingan, Notwen deduced that there would be a five-second window in which Yuki had to get past them or he would get caught. He knew that the blond boy was not physically capable of getting far, and the sentries struck before much could be done. The Yamanaka dodged the first net, only to end up in the path of a second. He was thrown to the floor by the weighted fibers, and immediately began to struggle against the bindings, but to no avail. "Crap! Hold on, Yuki! I'm coming to help!" The sound of a commotion on the other side of the field of sentries caught Notwen's attention. It was Hisaki! The Hyuuga had used some type of scroll to make noise and distracted the sentries patrolling the area. He then made short work of them with a kunai to each sentry's head. Hisaki then pulled out a sword and was taking care of another wave of sentries. In a few moments the Hyuuga was at Yuki's side. Out of the corner of Notwen's eye, he made out the shapes of spare sentries coming out the tents that Hisaki hadn't been in. There was only time to act. "Hisaki! Watch your back!" cried Notwen, moving form his hiding spot and jumping over the two leaf genin. His sharingan allowed him to see the sentries' next move, and the long-haired blonde already had the seals formed. "Grand Fireball!" he said, lifting his head to send the fireball into the incoming nets, which burst into flames and fell apart before reaching their targets. Notwen looked at his foes, four in all. Lighting his feet with Suzume Koumyaku, the young Uchiha rushed headlong into the first sentry. He vaulted over the wooden defender, then with all his might threw it at two others. There was a splintering crack, and three sentries were taken care of. Notwen felt the weight of a net as it came down on him, but not for long. His body was superheated to the point that the fibers of the net couldn't bear it and singed to a crisp. The final sentry was defenseless and unarmed. The Uchiha formed the time-honored orb of heat in his palm. "I've had enough of you, wooden bastards. Calormen!" He slammed the orb into the sentry's upper body, sending it flying into the pile of broken sentries, which caused them to explode due to the heat. Deactivating his sharingan, Notwen turned to the leaf duo and joined Hisaki.

Quote: Hope its not too late sweatdrop Since my team has already done the checks I dont think I have to rp the line requirement. Sora ran as fast as he could to get to the exam area. He was running mad late and he was one hundred percent sure that the exams had already started without him yet again. Why did he have such a huge problem with punctuality? He supposed it was something genetic as his mother was often late for things such as bills, doctor check ups, and the like. Sora grunted to himself inside the coffen case on the puppets back. Once again, he found himself hoping and praying that it was not too late for him to finish the exam, but then again. Maybe this was a good sign. He had started the first exam late and ended up passing with flying colors and even managed to get his one and only ally out with a good score as well. He for a moment thought about Jin, and how messed up it would be if he had ended up on Jin's team and then not showed up, these thoughts where put to aside quickly though as he remembered that he did not need Jin necessarily. He really did not anyone, which is what he kept telling himself so that he never got attached to anything that did not matter. He had a family to provide for, and he would not let any outside source distort his resolve.
Sora reached the exam area and caught sight of what he knew to be one of his team mates since they had came to the same place as he did. Sora saw him taking off into the forrest and hastened to follow. Not even bothering to find out what the goal was, Sora was just trying his best to catch up to the team mate but it was hard to. Although he could see the exam area, he was not close enough yet to keep a visual. Sora stopped for a moment, sending out a tracker bug to keep up with his team mate. As Sora followed deeper into the forrest he found himself coming up an area that seemed to be hostile. From his distance his bugs showed him that his team mate was up ahead. Sora dug deep and sprinted trying to catch up.

Quote: 60 + 35( Cloud Uniform: Tai Style) (x2) + 20 (Chakra Signals)= 210 vs 150 56% adding rp after roll Sora directed the puppet to raise its heals, effectivly putting the puppet in a breaking position as he slowed down with just enough times to avoid falling directly in. In front of him where the lingering remains of a set of vines, each with purple thorns. This looked suspicious to him. It was no way that this exam would go through with no sort of hinderenes, it was the seccond test after all. These vines might very well be poisonous, or at least have some sort of way of stopping someone than runs passed them, and based on the way that they were laid out, they were obvious set in order to prevent someone from getting through which was a hint in itself. If they were trying to stop me from going that way, then I must be going the right way he contemplated. To test his theory Sora instructed the puppet to go over the vines, where then instructed one of his insects to land directly on the vine. The insect bit into it, sucking in its poisons before flying back up and into the puppet, through its compartments and into the coffen where it then let in a single drop of it into Sora's body. It did not take long before he began to feel the effects, it was tingling at first, but it quickly turned into lost of thought focus. Sora shook it up as best he could, luckly it was a controlled dose. Sora gritted his teeth, there was no way those vines could get to him as he was safe on the back of the puppet enclosed. "Charge" he thought. Instructed the puppet to simply make a mad dash through the vines where he would then do his best to make sure none of the vines hit the coffen directly.

Quote: (60 + 35( Cloud Uniform: Tai Style) (x2) 10 (Humanoid Frame) + vs 250 45%) Yesss Sora managed to escape the vines, sending him deeper into what he could only describe as some sort of camp or base. It was obvious to him now that this was the place that the vines where setup to protect, which meant that there was almost a one hundred percent gurantee that there would be more traps in the area. Sora shook off the lasting effects of the poison and proceeded onward. Making sure to keep a watchful eye out for anything that moved.
Sora made a few quick hops over some fallen logs before rolling on the ground. Sora was puzzled. The tracker bug that he had sent forward had stopped reporting to him.. Why? He questioned. He began to grown suspicious of the area, this was the exact spot that his tracker bug began to stop reporting to him. Sora sniffed the air, before releasing another set of bugs into the open to try and sniff out the hormone trail that his tracker bugs left. He was shocked to see that the trail was irratic and unstructured. Sora squinted his eyes, before instructing his but fleet into a straight single file pattern to head in front of him. In a matter of moments a series of knives sprung from the trees, each with a tag attached to them. The tag managed to touch one of the bugs, causing it to veer off trail and fly in random directions. "Bingo" Sora said for a moment before sitting and trying to think of the best approach. One of those tags was not a worry, but the damage from the knives would be good at all. He decided that he would try his luck and avoid the attacks out right.

Sora took a deep breath and took off into a sprint where he then proceeded to expertly navigate away from the knives. Throwing himself into a spin while raising his arm right to avoid the first knife. Easily managing to avoid the first one Sora began to feel alittle more safe running through this firing squad. Another knife came out from a tree, aimed directly at his puppets head. He quickly shifted his middle finger, causing the puppet to turn its body down to the left at an inhuman angel almost as of his entire upper body had shifted all of its weight to the left at the point of the hip before snapping back into place and running as if nothing had happened. Sora moved his fingers like a mad man now, twisting and turning the puppet into an arial spin causing him to skillfully avoid three more knives. Sora was reaching the end. He leaned his puppets body forward, shifting its weight onto its toe before bring the rest of its body forward and over its head into a no handed cartweel before landing like a wind mill on its feet, rolling off it and finnally manaing to reach what seemed like the end of the line of fire. Sora grinned to himself, the new speed of his puppet was starting to amaze him.

He went on forward where he then noticed what could only be the next trap. There were a set of dummies all perched in random locations facing different directions. Sora sent a team of his insects to navigate the area. The moment the moved in front of one of the dummies a net was fired, missing them due to there small size of course, but none the less this trap was not like the rest. Puppet or no puppet, he knew that he had to do this one the right way because the net could still cause him to get trapped. Sora took a deep breath, this was not going to be easy. With him on the puppets back there weight was increased as well as their physical size. Sneaking was not nessicarly there specialty. Sora took his time, navigating his puppet string by string trying to avoid the snear of the sentries.
