(( popcicle booth ))

Kenth was angry, that must have been it.

Xuelian's expression fell as her mind ultimately came to this conclusion. She watched as her guardian step away, but did not dare to follow. She also didn't have the time to, as Zeke, the booth owner suddenly made a rather long announcement that left the dainty Raevan sad and baffled at the same time. It had something to do with the game, wasn't Kenth doing to play with her? Biting down her lips the girl decided to follow the doctor after all, but as she started to move a small bucket was stuffed into her hand. Then she heard her name, not from her guardian, but from the green haired man behind her.

...Vyn you're paired up with Xuelian....

A question mark popped up in Xuelian's head that was enough to drive away the sadness at the moment. She turned to look at Zeke, puzzled. The man had mentioned a name before her that seemed familiar, but the familiarity was too obscure for the Raevan to make out where she had met Vyn or who she was. Granted, of course, it was impossible for Xuelian to find and meet up with her partner as she had virtually no recollection of what Vyn looked like. So there she was, alone, hands holding a bucket and looking rather silly----that's what Kenth saw when he too heard the announcement on his way to the drink booth.

The doctor frowned and sighed heavily. Xuelian was not ready, but she never would be if she never went out and experienced things herself. Kenth knew this, yet he could not help but to feel protective and restricting toward his subject. His pride would not allow Xuelian to make mistakes in public, yet, the girl seemed to be prone to do so. The doctor was frustrated at Xuelian's slow learning process, but he could not force himself to turn away from his Raevan and allow her to learn by herself.

What a contradiction. Kenth shook his head and quickly walked back tot he Popsicle booth where Xuelian stood. He had heard the announcement about the seashells game, and the fact that his subject was paired up with Vyn. Kenth disliked the rose Raevan, but at least, she was one that Kenth recognized in the crowd.

"Vyn is that one, the female in black and red."

Xuelian perked up upon hearing her guardian's voice. She searched first at the doctor's face, but it was turned away. The dainty Raevan let out a small sigh and followed Kenth's finger, finding it pointing to the direction of a Raevan according to her guardian's description. There she was, Vyn, who was also floating toward their direction. Xuelian suddenly realized where she had seen Vyn before, the rose Raevan was the one who was playing with the waterfox back at the petting zoo! Immediately she smiled a little and started to approach Vyn to greet her. Xuelian hadn't had the chance to shake Vyn's hand yet, and she was determined to do so.

"Hello!" The teal Raevan gave a small wave to the red one, "Vyn is paired with me." She repeated what Zeke said, having repeated the sentence multiple times when she was searching aimlessly for Vyn. Meanwhile, she peeked behind her shoulders and looked for her guardian...but Kenth was already gone, heading back to the drinks booth.

As she approached Vyn was greeted with a bright smile and a wave, then like before a hand was extended to her. This time however Vyn was able to take it right away and returned the greeting. “Hello. I am paired with you, yes.” The other girl’s speech and way of acting made her appear young to the rose but she didn’t mind. Compared with the other young frei she had just encountered Xeulian was similar to a refreshing breeze on the summer’s day, whereas the spidery girl Vyn had been speaking to just previous was more akin to a dangerous bite of cold. Attempting to summon an equally upbeat expression Vyn shook the girl’s hand before releasing it.

Do we begin now?” She mused, half addressing the other raevan and half leaving it as an empty question, hanging in the air and presumably unanswered. Vyn’s dark eyes trailed over the teal summery dress of the other. She suited the beach environment very well and Vyn felt like despite her attempt at dressing summery in the white beach dress and hat she contrasted heavily with the other. One thing they did have in common was their flowery attributes. Vyn had her circlet of thorns and rose and Xeulian was embellished with a blue flower and petals cupping her pink fairy wings. Maintaining her slightly forced friendliness she began drifting away from the Popsicle booth and towards the beach where they would presumably start finding the shells. “You have our bucket.” Vyn stated, moving a hand to motion at the plastic object Xeulian was holding. “We have to put the shells in there I think.” She explained. Xeulian was young after all and the shadow was just clarifying the rules of the game.

It’ll be... fun.” She hadn’t signed up for this technically and after her encounter with the potential virus raevan she wasn’t in the most upbeat moods – even if she had just seen her sigel friend Eiry. However, for the sake of the younger girl she would remain upbeat. After all, if she had Kenth for a parent she would relish every chance to relax with another of her kind. She couldn’t imagine the white haired doctor to be very enjoyable company for a young frei.

Would you like to pick up the first shell?” She inquired, pointing to the sand nearby. Plenty of dainty shells were nestled amongst the white grains of sand – the blue haired child had her pick!

((Yuu and Ty = beach / Lucia = seashell event - Lucia roll 1))

Ty reached out and shook the purple-haired woman’s hand gently, but firmly, showing he had strength behind it. When she spoke he was surprised. A Brit! So he wasn’t the only foreigner on strange land. He smiled at her and, as Hazeline said hello, he nodded slightly at her, not wanting to disturb her personal space since she hadn’t extended her hand. ”You too!”

Now with time to answer her question, Yuurei turned to Hazeline as well. ”Lucia’s – Well, a lot happened, but she’s better now. It’s a long and complicated story.” She smiled apologetically at the woman. It really was complicated and Yuurei had only been conscious for a small portion of it. ”But how is Xiu? “

Meanwhile, Ty turned to Ebony. ”So where are you originally from? I haven’t met many other foreigners.” Ty grinned handsomely, playing up his Australian accent a bit.

-----------

Lucia smiled and said a quick “hello” to Delia – who obviously had to find her own partner. If Delia was talking to this guy, he must be okay. When they said her name together in unison, Lucia giggled a little.

”Oh I’m definitely ready!” she replied with an edge of excitement. ”Let me grab our bucket.” Floating over the mass of people, careful not to hit any heads with her ribbon’s buckle, the frei quickly went to the popsicle booth, grabbed a bright blue bucket, and floated back to Iorek, who was quiet and looking – at another raevan. A male raevan. A sigel who wasn’t Rivener. Who was that?, she thought with a smile on her lips. Well, she could get Delia to introduce her later.

”All set?” she asked, returning to Iorek’s side and holding up the bucket to show him. With a flit of her wings, Lucia realized she was excited for this silly game. She watched her partner appraisingly. ”Let’s find some shells!”

The kitten slowly made her way to the section of the beach that was indicate as specifically for the hunt. Immediately her eyes caught sight of something by the water. Leaning down, she picked it up out of the sand and held it up in the air for Iorek to see.

[[Oceanshore (Isi) ; Oceanshore -> Drinks Booth (Eiry - with tags to: KYOU, and WE'RIKA)]]

There was a whistle, shattering the calming effect of the ocean's waves on his nerves, and Isi startled a glance towards the whistle-blower. A game was beginning, that much he could tell, but beyond that he had little care. He stretched himself out beside the driftwood, turning his back to the beach where the raevans were now mulling about with their fans of wings and ribbons. He had just managed to drown them out from his head when the familiar rasp of his ward startled him again.

"Isikoro," came the sigel's voice, "You kept me blind to the fact that there would be a grand search of empty sea homes this day at the beach with the other raevans!" He was sullen and there was a bit of a sag in his ribbon. His encounter with Vyn had been short-lived, although pleasant, because it had been promptly cut short by the announcement of the sea-shell finding contest. Since the conversation had been politely cut short, Eiry had drifted back over to Isikoro, lonelier than before.

It took a few moments for Isi to understand just what his ward had said. "Eiry, I didn't know that they were doing contests," he said, somewhat irritable that his ward would try and place the blame on him. "We just got here."

Isikoro watched as Eirdirsceol turned to balefully watch the other raevans wander about the beach, their heads downward turned and searching along the ground.

Sighing, he prompted him to leave, "Eiry, perhaps there are other contests or things that you can do. You should go and look, sign up for them if there's still any left. Ask Doctor Kyoupi, he'll know."

With his ears perked up again, somewhat comforted by hope, Eiry nodded to his guardian. He was right. Perhaps there were more events! With a flap of his wings, Eiry started floating over to the drinks booth, once again to bother the doctor.

"Doctor Kyou!" Eiry hailed as soon as he came close to the booth where the doctor had a small crowd of tenders to the booth, "Such questions I have for you today." he said, and then he saw a familiar tanned man...We'rika. Eiry almost blanched. It had been a while since Valentine's day where Eiry had received his first unofficial kiss from the huichol, but Eiry retained the disgust from it still.

He inched away from We'rika, turning his attention again to the doctor, hoping that the shaman didn't recognize him. "Questions, dear Doctor: Are there any more events this day?"

(( Popsicle booth - Cordelia, Melisande // Drinks booth - Eiry ))

Whatever the reaction though, Lazarus wasn't expect this as Cordelia practically fly-tackled him. To his surprise she was amazingly strong as well as she clung to him. However, he couldn't help but blushed furiously when he realized that her boobs were pressed against his body. "C-cordelia!" The Sigel stuttered as he placed his hands gingerly to the Frei's arms, the bucket had dropped off when their bodies collided. "I-I can't breathe..." It was probably the combination of the strong embrace and Lazarus's fast beating heart that contributed to his lack of breath. In a way, Cordelia really took his breath away. Gently he pushed the Frei's arm, trying to make her let go and put some distance between them.

When he got Cordelia off of him, he couldn't help but overheard Melisande's words. Although he doesn't know Varun personally, he recognize and remembers every Raevan's name. Turning around, he tried spotting for the leviathan Raevan, he remembered Xiu interacting with him earlier. Spotting a red head turned out to be easier than he thought. "That red head is Varun." He called out to Melisande who was a small distance away from him and Cordelia, pointing at the Frei with long red hair by the popsicle booth.

Kyou was halfway preparing Werika's watermelon daiquiri when a familiar voice floated to his ears. "Eiry!" He exclaimed, glad to see him returning to the booth. The paled and uncomfortable expression however, did not escape his attention as his gaze trailed from Eiry towards Werika. Did something happened between them? Nonetheless, he shouldn't be poking as he move a little closer to Eiry. "Why yes, there is still the paintball competition and a sand castle contest later in the day. You didn't sign up for the seashell one?" The scientist asked curiously.

(( Oceanside - Roll 1/6 - Clam Shell ))

He saw the shadow of the Raevan before he saw Xiu himself, which was something of a blessing in disguise - the shadow was long. Longer than his. Zul turned and set his sky-cut eyes upon the white Sigel, conflicting emotions in his chest. Congratulations was on the tip of his tongue, but the demon was too proud for that to be the first word spoken to the Pi Yao after their last meeting encroaching on a year's time passed. "You grew," he commented in a mostly neutral manner, taking in the slender physique and embroidered clothes. He looked regal, but far be it from Zul to say so.

Without really looking at the pails, he took one - the polar bear in swim trunks - and nodded down the length of beach. "Let's get started." Normally, Zul might have asked how the Pi Yao was doing, ask after Hazeline, see what he'd been up to - but he was not feeling normal. Xiu's close proximity made his proverbial hackles stand on edge, as it were, and with a tight smile, he began to float down the stretch of beach opposite of the large gathering, turning his eyes down to the pristine sand.

As proud as he was, Zul wasn't so much 'in it to win it' as much as he was looking for shells that were worth his attention. It didn't take long for him to seek out one that stood out amongst the bone-white sand: a clam shell! It was a lovely aged rust that striped between plum, salmon and creme, the lines between each ripple touched with a chalky white that came with being dry. The demon deftly retrieved the shell, turning it over and holding it up to the sun; the light that filtered through was somewhat bloody against his face, admiring the color. "One," he announced to his partner contently, placing his prize into the plastic bucket.

((Popsicle Booth -Varun))

Melisande looked startled, twisting when she heard Varun's name spoken again. Laz pointed helpfully, and the muse blushed, nodding once. That was awfully kind of the other Sigel...she'd thank him some other time, when he wasn't so busy!

Floating upwards, Melisande squinted out over the sand. She took a moment to put her large sunglasses back on, so the glare wasn't quite so bright. She was beginning to feel a little toasty, a permanent shade of pink had settled over both of her fair cheeks. When she spotted the unusual looking Frei, she drifted a bit hesitantly in that direction.

He looked vaguely familiar. Had she seen him before? Pausing a good five feet away, Pasha lifted one hand and curled her fingers lightly in half a wave. The rolled sleeve of her white dress shirt slid to the cradle of her elbow.

"I'm Melisande." Her eyes were wide behind her sunglasses. She opened he was kind. "Are you...Varun? Would you like to find seashells?" The question was very innocently asked, and she lowered her hand only to press it against her tummy.

Talking to new people still made her a little nervous!

((Delia=Seashells (Roll 1/6 – Crumpled Cup) // Ebs=Beach))

It wasn’t that Delia was purposely trying to ignore the other two Raevans, it was that unfortunately the snake’s ability to multitask was somewhat lacking, very rarely being able to keep track of more than one thing at a time. And as Lazarus was possibly the warmest of their kind as far as she knew, he held an extra tighter hold on her attentions for that mere fact. No worries though, she would simply get back to the others later.

Not being able to help herself, Cordelia gave the demonic Sigel an affectionate nuzzling, her greedy warmth wanting side rearing its ugly head just a tad and thus had not noticed the elder male’s struggling. That was not until he’d given a winded shout and forcefully tried to pry her off.

Aiding him, the basilisk immediately let go and floated back some. ”Opps!” Giving a swaying reminiscent of soft shuffling, the Frei’s eyes looked to the sand. “Sorry Lazarus. Ebby’s always telling me to be careful with hugs, but I forget sometimes. I didn’t hurt you, did I?” Her eyes went wide, frightened that she might have and that he wouldn’t want to be her partner or friend anymore.

Yet he was addressing Pasha now. Apparently she was looking for her partner too it seemed. She didn’t know whom this Varun was either thus didn’t speak up, though she did slowly lean side ways to see whom Lazarus was pointing at. A little gasp left the smoky girl and she hurriedly fell back to her original spot, safely hidden from Varun’s view behind Lazarus. So she hadn’t imagined him after all.

She bit her lip lightly. They needed to leave before Varun saw and recognized her. Delia wasn’t ready for this confrontation just yet. Picking up the bucket that had fallen, the snake gently tugged on Laz’s sleeve. “Do you want to go play now?”

Even though she’d asked him, Cordelia was eager to escape the area near the leviathan and drifted off to search for these shells. That’s what the grey Raevan said right? Scratching her head, Delia began poking in the sand randomly. Her eyes widened with excitement when something white and unusual peek up at her. Quickly she wiped the rest of the sand away to reveal…a crumpled cup! The girl pouted, pretty sure that wasn’t what she was suppose to be looking for. Maybe Lazarus would have better luck than her.

Ebony’s brow lifted at the added strength behind Ty’s handshake, physically trying to suppress an eye roll. She was right about the air about him, typical egotistical male. Luckily, the Brit was use to his kind and could get through with ease and without looking like some little blushing, floundering schoolgirl. But maybe luck was on her side as Yuurei and Hazeline easily slipped into their own conversation about their charges. She was very interested in hearing how both were, most especially Lucia.

Though as luck would have it, she wouldn’t be hitting a streak today as the blonde male kept his attentions on her instead. Slowly, her metallic pools looked to the other and raised her brow a second time. Where was she from? Was he serious? Sighing internally, “I thought my accent made it fairly clear. After all I can tell just from hearing you that you must be from Australia.” Ebony gave a shrug. “But I suppose you are wanting specifics, yes? In that case, I’m from London.” There was a moment were the woman debated asking the question seeing as this could be a chance for escape, yet…Ebony wasn’t one to be unnecessarily rude. “And what about yourself? What part of down under do you hail from?”

((Oceanside: To Zul. Will type Hazeline's reply later. lol ))

Xiu nodded at Zul’s comment about his growth. Somehow the practically emotionless ‘You grew’ seemed to lack luster and white raevan was …in a way…concerned.

No, scratch that. Concerned was the feeling he had on the tip of the iceberg while disappointment was the underlying, larger feeling that was starting to gnaw at him. Well, he had certainly not expected a grand party (being hurt and kept in the lab had taken care of that) but…he had always thought…growing into a Sigel was something quite akin to a person’s coming of age. Or something…

Not merely something as insignificant as commenting on the weather; which by the tone of Zul’s voice, sounded exactly like it. Xiu gritted his teeth. Fortunately for him the sudden increase in animosity towards the Baphomet Raevan triggered the more level headed aspect of his being into action. Surprised, Xiu floated back and watched as the tri-horned raevan bent over to pick up a shell. Perhaps…there was something else on the frei’s mind thought Xiu quietly to himself as he tried his best to bottle up that odd anger in him. Odd though…he could have sworn that the he was merely put off by the frei’s lack of enthusiasm but it had threatened to cascade into something else entirely.

For a minute the white Raevan was afraid that the virus had never really left but…

Dismissing it, the Sigel absently picked at a shell, only stopping to note that it was a fly-specked cerith before tossing it into the bucket. Glancing back, Xiu noted that the crowd of contestants was nearing them. Perhaps they should move further up the sandy stretch?

Floating over to Zul once more Xiu lifted his hand and pointed towards a relatively quiet sandy curve up ahead with some promising looking rock pools about.

((Beach – Ty))

Ty raised both of his eyebrows looking miffed. No s**t she had an obvious accent. Of course he wanted specifics. What the ********? ”I lived in South Kensington for primary school,” he said plainly in response. Why were uptight chicks such bitches? He had something in common with her and wanted to know where she was from. And she answers like she’s talking to a moron.

”And I lived in Gold Coast in Oz since I graduated university.” He smiled charmingly, not really wanting to talk to this – he stopped himself from even thinking the curse – woman any more. Digging into Yuurei’s bag, Ty pulled out a drink he had packed, just in case everyone associated with the lab was just like this woman.

The black plastic water bottle obviously had a lot of ice in it, but what was more important were the other ingredients: almost all alcohol. Sipping the Long Island Iced Tea he had made, the blonde reached into his back pocket and pulled out his Zelda wallet, placing it at the bottom of Rei’s bag.

Twisting the top, the plastic rubber straw popped up. He didn’t really have much to say to Ebony. Stereotyping prude. And it wasn't like his shirt read Hollister or Abercrombie. It was effing Voltron. Drawn like the Vetruvian Man. Seriously.

(( Popsicle booth > beach , item to be picked up = ))

The dainty Raevan smiled brightly, happy that she finally got to shake hands with Vyn. From the way the other Raevan talked Xuelian assumed the rose Raevan was much older and more experienced than her, so immediately she looked up to Vyn. Xuelian nodded in earnest as Vyn invited her to the beach. She followed the other attentively, both eager and excited for the game. A game was meant for fun, but for Xuelian, it was also a time to learn new things. Just as Vyn instructed the girl looked down at her bucket and, for once, was amazed that she understood what the rose Raevan had said.

"Okay, I understand!" Xuelian chirped, swinging the bucket back and forth. As the two approached the beach she gazed out to the sea in surprise. What a large pool of water! She wondered if Kenth would allow her to bath in it, at least, the thought already had her excited. For now though, she must focus. Vyn was saying something to her now, so she turned back. First shell? She looked around, not sure what exactly she should be looking for. She had only seen seashells from picture books. Although Kenth had brought books with the most realistic looking depictions, Xuelian was still not confident that she would be able to spot a seashell right away. Nonetheless, the dainty Raevan replied with a soft "okay". The game must start somewhere, and Xuelian was willing to take the first step.

Dangling the bucket behind her the dainty Raevan searched the sandy ground carefully, trying to recall what a seashell looked like. Eventually, a small white object caught her attention. Xuelian quickly bent over, picked it up, and inspected it closely. The small piece of white was round and flat, with intricate markings on top. Whether or not it was a seashell, it certainly looked pretty. Grinning, the girl waved at her partner, gesturing her to come over.

"Vyn, this is a seashell?"

It felt a little odd having the dainty raevan following her lead and hanging off her every word with eager excitement. She’d seen human schools where an adult was in charge of all the children and they clung to them in the playground whilst she oversaw the games – Vyn felt a bit like that, what with Xeulian keenly and naively looking up to her. Vyn could barely remember how she had been when young... It was only a matter of a few years ago but the memories had faded considerably... She had been quiet she supposed. Not like Xeulian’s polite yet endearing brightness. Watching with considerate eyes she waited whilst the other floated around and eventually picked out a disk from the floor.

Having been summoned by her eager companion’s waving, Vyn moved across the short span with a flick of her wings. “Pass it here?” She took the item gently from the other girl’s hand and turned it over in her fingers... It was a semi-perfect disk and had an interesting pattern on the top; a five pointed star, which could be considered almost flower shaped. Running a slender finger over the design Vyn had to pause for thought. She honestly wasn’t certain if ths was a shell... In her experience shells tended to be conical and had room in them for their aquatic residents.... This didn’t fit that criteria yet it seemed to be made out of the same stuff as shells...

Yes, I think it’s a shell.” She responded, passing back the sand dollar with a smile. “Put it in the bucket. Well done.” She made sure to congratulate the girl... Here she was drawing from her experience with Thorn. He’d gone to puppy training classes and although Xeulian was nothing like a dog Vyn assumed that some of the same principles held true – rewarding success was just as important as scolding failure.

My turn now?” It was a rhetorical question of course and without waiting for a defined response from the other she began searching for a shell to match Xeulian’s contribution to the bucket. Rather than being upright and looking down Vyn lever her body so they she was at an acute angle with the beach. Her rune flared as she suspended herself in such a manner but the extra stain wasn’t too much and it allowed her dark eyes to pick out what she was searching for amongst the white granules of sand with more ease.

Plucking their next find from the sand she offered it out to Xeulian.

(( By the sea - Seashell 1/6 : Piece of paper ))

"No you didn't hurt me, don't worry." Lazarus consoled Cordelia with a soft smile as he followed closely behind her, picking up another red bucket with a starfish sticker on it while on his way. The Sigel did not notice the female Frei's discomfort towards Varun, but he was slightly relieved that Cordelia is taking the lead as they began their seashell hunt.

They didn't travel far from the booths when the basilisk Frei picked up the strange white object. In fact, the petting zoo (or pool?) is just a few feet away from them. Which was why Lazarus wasn't surprised when the item Cordelia picked up turned out to be trash. A soft chuckle escaped his lips. "Better luck next time?" He knew it was impolite to laugh at her, but most of the time it just happens before he thinks of courtesy. "Let's travel a little further down the beach to look for more eh? Maybe there will be more if we go near the water's edge." With a finger he pointed along the line where the sea water is hitting the sand. Further down the beach he could see Zul and Xiu.

On their way towards the edge of the waters, he spotted something white buried in the sand. Surely their luck wouldn't be so bad and they would pick up two paper cups one after the other. So bending down, he reached over and picked up the corner of the white object. The sands casually slid off the object as it was being pried away from the beach only to reveal itself as... a piece of paper. Okay, maybe he shouldn't had laughed at Cordelia earlier. This must be karma or something.

((Popsicle Booth))

Zeke saw his Raevan coming up fast, but wasn't expecting just how close she was to his face when she stopped. For a Frei who took great strides to have her own personal bubble and keep it from popping, the fact she came to a halt with their chests nearly touching made Zeke utter a startled cry. Her face was placid, but her eyes - all six of them - were flashing.

"Anya!" Zeke took two shaky steps back from the virus Raevan and was happy to note she just hung there instead of following after him. Space between him and those easily flippable wings was and could be a good thing.

"What did you do?!"

"What...I...A game!" He struggled to get out from under that gaze, going so far as to shake his head to clear it and gain back some semblance of knowing how to use the English language properly; smile gone. "I signed you up for a game Anastacia! See?" He gestured to the clipboard for the game that was beginning and with only a single flick of her eyes to it, Anastacia snatched it up off the table. She couldn't read much yet, but her own name was familiar enough and sure as sunshine it was sitting on a line near the top and clearly in Zeke's penmanship. "It'll be fun!"

"No." She said flatly and tossed the board down on the table with no care as to if it landed on it or not. Her still-tingling arms folded across her chest and her face and posture set in that defiant 'you can't make me' way. He had easily offended her by forging her signature and in her book she and her guardian had very very different outlooks on just what was 'fun'. A game, surrounded by people, was not her brand of such a thing. This wasn't working out well. Zeke knew Rivener was right there and witnessing this - along with several others - but since he had met the femme, maybe that'd ease some of this down. He gave the Sigel an apologetic look but even as her guardian's head turned, Anastacia's gaze remained trained right on the human.

"Look, Rivener's your partner." He gestured to the male and Anastacia's head stiffly turned. Two of her navy blues were on her guardian but the rest came to rest on the male Raevan, not having seen him since she was two days old, she was quite unsure of who that was for a moment or two until it came back to her.

"Oh. You." The one who gave her the flattering appraisal of her looks and speech. She could remember that much about him and that they shared some sort of kinship somehow and not by being Raevans alone. That much she could remember, and though her first impression of him had been good, it didn't deter the fact she was attempting to be made to do something she had no knowledge of or want to do. Zeke had mentioned games in the car ride over but had she given any sign of interest? No!

"You and I are gonna go find seashells. Sounds fun, hm? We might find treeaaasure! You ready?"

"No." No it did not sound fun and she did not know what this 'treasure' was but in her ire even her curiosity was being held at bay. Her wings and crown flaired out their sharp bits but her arms remained over her bosom, gripping the still numbing parts of her partial body. It was getting to be way too hot for this, and that heat factor only built up her agitation and dislike.

"C'mon Anya, please?" He was talking as though he could reason with her, looking between her and the Sigel near their sides. Her head didn't shake like a tantrum-throwing child would but it was set in such a way that it was clear she was not going to go along with this plan easily. Zeke struggled to come up with something. Like his mother said he shouldn't - and wouldn't - use bribery to get her to go along, but maybe some sort of compromise and apology would work instead. He sighed, casting his gaze down, but when he looked back up his face was full of sincerity. "All right, I'm sorry I didn't ask you before I signed you up. I should know better and should've asked you first and I will next time. I just wanted you to have some fun Anya."

Again, different strokes for different folks, why didn't he get this?

"But since the game is started, you have to play. Rivener will be partner-less and that's not fair to him, you see?" He once more gestured to the Sigel and Anastacia saw he already had the pail and teams were already taking to the wet-dry line. An apology was decent and he did sound real in it, but she wasn't going to bend so easily. Oh no. She'd keep her ground, 'having to play' now or not. "C'mon Anya. It'll be a quick game and you know Rivener." Another sigh. He didn't expect parenthood to be easy, but some connection or similar like between them would've been nice. Where he was easy going and always ready to interact with others, Anastacia was most definitely uptight and preferred her solitude. Night and day.

"No."

The two females seemed content when she sat down, at least slightly. There was an air of unfamiliarity between the both of them but the lavender haired Raevan seemed outwardly less bothered by this than the rose. With a bit of observation, it was very easy to see what could possibly have been the soul of the large winged femme; a spider, clear as day. The six eyes, the eight legged crown and the wings were all clear signs, not to mention her form was lined with webs upon webs and even her corset, if it were that, had cups with spider legs trailing up her bosom.

With all of the black on her, she must have been burning up, so it was probably a relief to be so scantily clad. She wondered how the rose fared, though, in such temperatures. After getting comfortable, Anita realized that the shadowy rose had turned and given her an acknowledging smile, which she promptly returned. However, before a greeting could be given, a blur of minty green rushed onto the scene and came very close into Vyn's proximity, nearly touching the female Raevan.

And oh, how verbose he was!

A bit lost momentarily, Anita gave the two an amused grin and returned her attention to the spindly Raevan. She, on the other hand, didn't appear very interested or content any longer and as quickly as the situation changed, it was called off by the announcement of a game; seashell gathering. There were games? "Oh man." Anita mumbled to herself and looked over at Tango who was occupying himself with running through the waves with a wet stick in his mouth, paying absolutely no mind to the surrounding Raevans or other people.

"C'mon, buddy!" she called, patting her thigh as she stood up and shook off her towel, folding it back up. Under her arm it went once more and same with the cooler, she clicked her tongue and made various noises to keep Tango following her while off his leash. Green eyes scanned the beach front, following the rose Frei, the spider and the minty green Raevan. The male seemed a bit dejected and flew to the drinks booth, but the others, in particular the spider, hovered about the popsicle stand.

Slowing down, she watched as the Frei rushed towards Zeke in an intimidating manner and the man reacted as such. The conversation was completely mute, no sound falling upon Anita's ears at this distance, but it seemed familiar and consoling. The colorful man looked genuinely sad, perhaps apologetic, for a moment and Anita's speed picked up again. Once close enough, she set her cooler down and the towel, but still kept up her pace and as the dead pan "No." hit her ears, a pale fist collided with one of the man's shoulder tattoo.

"WAY TO CALL ME!" she shouted, her hands resting roughly on her hips and a sour look across her face. After his reaction, however, Anita's expression faltered and a grin spread. She turned to look to Zeke's charge, cocking an eyebrow, but she quickly returned her gaze to the man. His Raevan didn't look amused at all. Beside her was a male Raevan with a stomach and waist, and Anita's eyes glanced over him momentarily, her expression losing all of its luster. She hadn't seen a Sigel before.
