Zetshimaru Zetshimaru would have to assume that the RNG abuse really helps. Zetshimaru thought about learning it, but then didn't wanna read the giant wall of text smogon threw at Zetshimaru's face. Zetshimaru may have cried a little even. sweatdrop Agreed. Though I really didn't read it because I don't have a shiny in any of my Gen 4 games to find my secret ID with. All of my shinies come from the kindness of others.

@yokubo: I have to agree wtih the others. It really takes me along time breed one pokemon especially since like zet said, I don't know how to abuse the RNG as well as I am still breeding from pearl. I just really don't want to go through the pain of collect another harem of dittos for HG or transfer all my breeding pokes for how long it will take to do. (Yeah... I'm being really lazy. sweatdrop
I am hoping to have my team ready soon but I just can't help by try for the perfect IVs.

Kyrenx Yokubo-chan (Pee Pee) Zetshimaru Yokubo-chan (Pee Pee) Ok I don't get it...how is it that all of these people need weeks and sometimes months to get a party, or just "a few pokemon" together. I have one and a half jobs, friends, and a girl friend (aka an actual social life), and I can still breed, and EV train 6 pokemon in one day. (on average)
On pearl Zetshimaru would have to go through about 300 eggs to get the perfect pokemon Zetshimaru wanted. Thankfully HG has cut that down to about 70ish. Some pokemon are still a thorn in Zetshimaru's side though.
And is Yokubo saying no one else in the guild has a life? I guess the know how to RNG abuse is very helpful I can normally get the nature/gender that I want with just a few taps of the bottom screen, and if it's not too many I can make it shiny. It's a great deal harder to do on HG/SS so that why I still primarily play my platinum. No, I was saying that I do have a life, which means I should by default have less time to do things, but yet I get things done much faster? It just baffles me. So what If I had a "class" forum that taught more advance things like EV training to newcomers, and RNG abuse with a step by step tutorial? Maybe even post videos? Given I only know one way to RNG abuse, and there are others, I've just been content with the one.

Having a truck load of good Dittos also helps, lol. I can use the RNG, I just don't unless I want to bypass breeding all together, but Softreseting can be sometimes be even more of a pain in the a** than breeding.
On a side not, I'll battle anyone who still needs their 3 wins.

I can use the RNG, I just don't unless I want to bypass breeding all together, but Softreseting can be sometimes be even more of a pain in the a** than breeding. On a side not, I'll battle anyone who still needs their 3 wins. I sometimes soft reset for IV's if I normally don't get anything at least halfway decent with in ~5 reset, I just take what ever I'm given on the 6th or so. Foreign pokemon are just about the most helpful thing in the world. If you can get at least an ok IV'd foreign ditto, you're pretty much God.
