Listening intently as she did take not they were not venturing any closer to the roped off area, she took a moment to release his shirt and slip around infront of him but not moving farther. Rising onto her tip toes she looked around to all of the blue, it was crazy and unnerving....but very odd it didn't cover the water as well. "Doesn't sound like much of a meteor to me then if it had control...." She commented a bit to herself in wonder, turning her head to look back to Banes.
"I guess that's why finding that creature which did the murders is important hmm? Do you think its connected to this?" She asked, swaying her tail lightly. A part of her hoped that it wasn't, since who wanted something with this kind of dangerous potential wandering around the lands.

He felt as she had moved in front of him, and looked over the edge on her tip toes to see the changing blue substance. It always made his fur stand on end whenever he got close to it.
"We think we have related what came out of this meteor to the attacks and deaths. A lot of the sea life in the area seems to be taking on strange physical characteristics just like this stuff." he explained in his police voice. Commanding and strong. He only did it because he himself was too scared to think of what would come of him without it..It was more calming to him than anyone else. "That Medabot has been able to identify and converse with a possible suspect. I don't know how he did it, but somehow he managed to live through the ordeal." he said still shocked about the information himself

"It doesn't surprise me....although I guess it would be nice to have a positive ID on it though, right?" The vixen smiled, before giving a short lived chuckle and shaking her head. "I believe it. People with nothing left have an air about them...i'm sure it has similar traits robots can have too." Pondering a few more moments, she shrugged and put a hand on his shoulder after she turned, indeed noticing that change although she wasn't sure what to think about it.
"C'mon...i'd like to bring in the luggage least we'll be packing things in when its dark." Kay offered and began to head back slowly, making sure to watch her step least she slip and slide and that wasn't so desirable from what she saw was down here. "And I'm hungry as hell! Had to miss breakfast for that dumb meeting." She laughed, thankful to reach the tunnel where she should at least rest a paw on the walls.

"Yes...I suppose you are right" he said turning as she had gestured, and starting to walk back to the entrance. He felt his fur resettle back into it's calm manner, but he couldn't help but wonder still as to what that stuff was. So many mysteries. It was always hard for him to wrap his brain around something that he would normally see in an alien horror movie.
But all the same, he returned back inside, turned the lights off and hung the lantern, shutting and locking the door only after Kay had gone through. "Alright then! To the luggage!' he said trying to perk his attitude up.
As he walked into the living room, he saw that everything was already inside. "Huh? What the?" he questioned as he walked over to the luggage and examined it, seeing it was in fact the stuff they had brought. "Weeird" he muttered as he walked over to the open door, looking outside to see if he could find anyone, only finding some odd shaped foot prints in the mud and leaves.

Waiting for Banes at the door, she stepped aside as he came through and shut it behind them. "Excellent! Gotta get my chocolate into a safe spot you know." She mused in a playful matter before stopping curiously, also seeing all the stuff had been brought in. "What the....I thought those two left?" Like he, she headed and looked over the things and could see at least the stuff she packed looked like it hadn't been tampered with.
"Do you see anything?" Looking to the door she inquired, tilting her head and standing from the luggage. Although this did make things easier, it was still a tad unnerving of the anonymous act.

He hoped down the stairs and creeped up on the foot prints, looking at them closely, tail wagging ever so slightly. Where had I seen these before he thought to himself as he stared at the rather small prints. The were oddly shaped and looked as if there were 3 spikes rather than toes. "Odd.." he said out loud as he stood and made his way back to the cabin. "They seem familiar" he shrugged making his way back in to unpack the kitchen supplies.
"At least whoever it was, didn't take anything. So, I guess we can't complain can we?" he mused as he located the bag with the food and dragged it to the kitchen, emptying and placing things where they belonged

"As long as it isn't deadly looking!" Kay called back when Banes headed back, pulling out the few things she'd need right away from her bag and setting them on the table. Hoisting the sack over her shoulder she ventured down the hall like before and put the bag on the left room's bed. Removing the rifle from her shoulder, she slipped it under the bed and put the bean bags by her pack. Not seeing the need to unpack till later, she headed back out into the living room and looked over the other bags, not sure what was in them but at least thankful to have nothing to carry around.
Turning to the kitchen she leaned against the wall with her shoulder, crossing a leg over the other as she tilted her head. "Anything I can do?" She inquired, her tail swaying to and fro.

He shrugged it off almost immediately. "Nope..not dangerous" he said with a smile.
As he started towards the bags with a few of his items and more food he looked over. "Well...You can take this bag back to the room you didn't choose." he pointed to the smaller black duffel bag. "Or you could take some food out and offer it to the person who helped us. I know he's still around." he said with a nod as he moved the much larger brown bag into the kitchen, unloading a wide variety of frozen foods

"I can do that!" The vixen perked and turned away from the wall, returning to the living room and heaving up the bag as instructed. The venture down the hall was short as she deposited it on the bed in the other room, shutting the door behind her on her way out.
Pausing once she got to the living room, she looked to her Ipod on the table and gave a smile; picking it up and slipping the large DJ headphones on her ears. Pushing said 'phones to her temples so she could still both simultaneously hear the music and any talk; she switched to her play list and all but danced into the kitchen. "What food to you think would be okay?" She asked and looked around the kitchen before opening the door to the fridge and looking inside. Not sure what she should think of bringing.

As he had finished packing away the frozen foods, he closed the fridge and walked to the living room to drop the bag off. Noticing Kay dance to the kitchen, he snirked a little bit to himself and looked around for the remote to turn on the TV, hoping to see what weather might be in store for the day ahead.
Finally finding the elusive remote wedged underneath a chair, he reached for it and grabbed, hearing the vixen respond after opening the freshly stocked fridge. "Try a fruit. I know he likes that" he said as he scooted around and turned on the tv, promptly finding the weather channel and getting up. As part of his many quirks he slide his shoes off and putt them near the door.

"Fruit! Gotcha." Crouching she opened the drawer for the fruits and plucked out an orange, apple and few peaches; wondering if it would be enough. She thought about it for a few moments and realized if said person was still hungry she could always come back and get some more? Resolved, she turned to take a knife out from the drawer and cut the orange in half for easy access and washed the rest of the fruit before putting them on a plate.
Mouthing the words to the songs on her ipod, she felt her tail sway to the rhythm as she did a twirl and stopped at the living room with plate in paw as he was setting his shoes at the door. "Is there anywhere I'm supposed to leave it or just er....call out?" She asked, giving Banes a quizzical look.

Tearing his gaze away from the tv, just in time to see her do a little spin, he raised an eyebrow, and figured it was merely the music. "Uh...I don't know. Take your pick?" he shrugged as he returned his gaze to the tv, just in time to see the forecast. Good..a perfect day ahead...maybe we can get out there today and investigate. he thought to himself as the weather man continued to explain what was going on.
"I think if you go out there and wait for him, I can get all the stuff ready and we can go to the beach and look for clues. Whadda say?" he grinned as he stood up, feeling pumped and ready to go

Investigate...already? Grinning she did like the sounds of seeing her surroundings sooner rather than later so she found herself nodding eagerly. "Sounds like a plan! I'll change then first." She set the plate on the living room table and darted back to the room. Shutting the door behind her she dug through her bag till she reached her clothes and took off the tee shirt, opting for a simple white tank and a thin blue long throw over; pushing up the light sleeves just in case they were out when it got colder later. Putting the ipod back into her bag for now and pulling out sunglasses just incase she tucked them into her hair and returned to the living room.
"Alright, see you out there!" Kay smiled and with plate in paw headed outside. Walking a few steps down the path and looking around she wasn't sure who or what she was waiting for, tilting her head and glancing down at the fruit. "Hello?" She called out, "Er...I brought some fruit?"

He nodded. "Alright, I have to get in most of a uniform, so I'll see you out there once I get it all on." he replied as he followed her down the hall, splitting off to the right and shutting his door almost simultaneously. He was quick to strip off his shorts and black shirt and he quickly grabbed some Black BDU's, set them aside, then grabbed his green and gold park range shirt. He put that on quickly, then grabbed his body armor, putting it on causally over his shirt, and making sure the patches that said ranger were visible. Then he put the BDU's on, tucking the green shirt and the flaps of the body armor in.
Then the tedious task of assembling his utility belt came into play. It took him some time to lace a black velcro belt through the belt loops, but once he did, it was smooth sailing as he carefully put the fully equipped belt around his hips and secure it in place with 4 keepers. Now he was ready.
Enjoying the sanctity of a shady tree trunk, the ever familiar robot fox relaxed, looking up at when the female from earlier stepped out. Surely she wasn't offering him food...that would be...very kind

"I don't even know who i'm looking for..." Kay sighed and scratched her head with her free paw, looking around till she finally spotted a flash of white in her vision under a tree. It was that medabot from before! That's who Banes must have been talking about then.
Walking over she crouched down and smiled, holding out the plate for him to have. "You were the one who brought in our things didn't you? Here, I brought some fruit out for you...as a thank you." He certainly didn't have to have done what he did, but she had a feeling it was more of a thanks towards Banes since he did take him down earlier. "I'm Kay, by the way, since I didn't quite get to introduce myself."
