I want a new opponent.

Mine hasn't posted since the ninth.

I don't know if this goes here or not, but....

I'm worried about my fight with Kenji.

He's got a broken rib, that's punctured -- partially -- his lung. It's not life-threatening as it is, but he's continually trying to continue the fight.

I don't want to continue, because if I do he could end up dying from over-exertion + all the other hits I'd make and land due to his debilitating injury.

If he continues to move, he's going to end up puncturing his lung more and dying from the wound.

I wonder if a death of that nature could fall back on me. If it can, I'd rather the fight be called and judged as it sits. If it can't, I'm going to go ahead and be damned if he dies.

So, basically, what I want is either A.) Fight called, and wait for it to be judged as-is, or B.) To know if it's acceptable to continue, if it could result in him inadvertently dying

I have the final say in how much damage my character takes, bro. Just because you say his lung is punctured and that Kenji is in a lot of pain doesn't mean it is. You're border lining on puppeteering by telling me how my character is reacting to something. I played along with your hallucinogen punch, but I'm not going to let you dictate how much damage my character's received when you let Van STAND and MOVE around in Kenji's fire for a few seconds. I even stated it would sear off the skin to the bone, yet you get out of it with a few "cosmetic" wounds. I didn't feel like saying anything because the judges have s**t ton on their plate, but here you are telling me Kenji's going to die now. I stated Van's attack only fractured his rib.

He can still go on fighting.

Van on the other hand is a-okay after standing in a stream of fire for a few seconds and was able to "brush" it off with his hands as if it was sparks from a firecracker.

I'm not asking for a judge ruling. I'm just letting you know the rib is fractured. It is NOT stabbing into his lung ready to kill him.

I have done nothing inconsistent with my profile other than missing the whole attack to the crotch, which in my haste, I admit I read as the original attack that hit the hip bone. That's my bad, I usually think of Noire as a eunuch, I'm really not doing justice to the character.

The water thing though, that needs to be explained, clearly, because it's causing problems people aren't able to interpret. Noire's main training technique was high impact water, through high speeds, such as ridiculous altitude dives and strikes. Clearly saying the character's combat style looks like Fist of the North Star didn't get translated.The faster you hit water, the harder it hits back. The higher you dive, the harder the water hits. Belly flop and it hits all over the place. High enough and it's like jumping off a cliff or being in a car accident.
We don't need to go into the mythology of How Noire figured out how to survive these impacts and speeds, we merely need to process that he can.

So when he's being attacked with most blunt impacts, such as a knee or fist or slap, it's like swimming to him. I apologize if this "brick-like" ability wasn't communicated, and I will respectfully adjust accordingly, and can withdraw if problematic.

I'm just trying to state to him clearly that Kenji is not down for the count, and that him calling for the judges based on what HE thinks is happening vs. what's actually happening is sorta... insane.

As a fighter, it is your job to make your profile as clear as possible. As Judges, it's our job to eliminate as much clutter and promote as much clarity as possible while seeing if your character is too powerful or not.

I don't know who passed your profile, but it was not me. I have nothing in particular against you, but your profile was filled with so much information that was entirely irrelevant to what we were looking for and so utterly vague on what we were that there was basically no way I would have let it in without a long conversation about it.

Hell, I even read that specific section and my thoughts were more or less as follows:

its all about vernacular really. Some people say chakra and people tihng Naruto's term for MP. Others think glowing dots of color along the spine. Kenji told me to join this tournament and I heard Ertai was in it.
I submitted accordingly. Basically though, a lot of Noire's core abilities are broken, but I did specifically refuse to use ones even I thought were over the top, like the Vampire hunter D wormhole effect, and the thought-swift teleport like movement. Since the tournament disqualifies killing, I figured most of the 'fist of the northstar' style stuff would be inadmissible by default. I left the sword out too.

I just don't understand how you guys can get giants and dragons and fireballs and vampires, and not kill each other. Wait... how many have died already?
