Ortus Island Picnic AreaKerri nodded to Roland. "Sure sounds like something to be at. George, Marill, return!" Kerri said, returning her Pokemon to their pokeballs. Grabbing Roland's hand, she ran towards the main plaza, yelling at people to move out of her way, or dodging around people spryly to get by. She was pretty efficient at getting through the crowd, and they arrived just as the speech started. Once Mr. Ortus had spoken, Kerri turned to Roland. "Wow. That sounds... exciting. I want to go to the lesson by Professor Oak first, how about you? I think that'd be shiny." She noticed as she spoke that she was still holding his hand. With a slight blush, she dropped his hand to run her fingers through her hair, trying to make it look casual. "This is all so fantastic."  Dragonite -- Mr. Fishy -- Chloe -- Marill -- George

Jake couldn't help but give a smile as Mr. Ortus made his way backstage.
"We'd better go sign up for that tournament, I'm sure you're itching to fight some tough trainers right Spot?" Jake asked his Typhlosion. The pokemon seemed to grow happy and roared with enthusiasm. Jake could tell Spot was just as eager to fight as he was. It had been awhile since he had had a real challenge.

Chris Location: South Ortus Island: Picnic Area It's you and me... Chris stared in shock, "Really? Orre huh? I've been to Pyrite town, been all over that dust bowl. I'm from Agate village in the north. Actually, that's where I met Ryuken." Chris laughs a bit, "He was actually my first Pokemon. He hatched from an egg someone left at the daycare there, I was the first thing he saw. Surprisingly, he sees me more like a brother than a father. Of course, I didn't know that until he evolved to a Lucario and learned to use aura speak." Chris pauses for a second, "You ever been to Phenac city?" ...I know it's my destiny!

"A tournament, huh? That sounds like the thing for me" Roland said excitedly, then released Arcane from his pokeball since there was room right next to him. "What do you think, Arcane? We haven't seen a battle in a long time, Want to join the tournament?"
The Arcanine quickly voiced his eagerness to join, and Roland laughed. "I wonder if they're planning all this stuff at once? That kinda makes it a bit difficult if you want to attend several things..."

Robyn Location: Ortus Island: Picnic area You think you have the answer..."Agate Village? Isn't that the town with all the experienced trainers living in it," Robyn asked trying to remember. She hadn't been there but her mother frequently went. All she knew about it was what her mother had told her. Although, her mother didn't call the trainers experienced, she called them old. She laughed a little at the brother comment. "Wow, you guys have been together since the beginning," she marveled as she petted the resting Vulpix. "Phenac is beautiful," Robyn said. Stardust made a disagreeing noise. "She dislikes it because of the water." Then something dawned on her. "Where is Ryuken?" It wasn't like her to not notice something like that but her attention for a while had been mainly focused on Chris. ...I laugh and watch you fall.

ChrisLocation: South Ortus Island: Picnic area It's you and me... "Yeah, Agate village is full of retired trainers. So there's a lot of powerful Pokemon around. I was raised around battles, mount battle is right near the town." Chris nodded in agreement with Robyn's feelings toward Phenac. "I wanted to live there a few years ago, but then I got out and saw the world. It's so much better out here." When the young lady asked about Ryuken, Chris panicked. What if she thought he ran off because of her? "He said he was going to check out the island, he doesn't like to sit around during speeches and stuff. Plus he's already ate, so he probably wanted the exercise. Besides, if I wanted to battle someone I have 5 more. I admit their not as skilled as Ryuken though. I've never seen a Pokemon like him, he constantly goes above and beyond what I would expect. Even the veteran trainers in Agate were amazed by him, even as a Riolu. Not to mention his "Aura Speak", I heard that it's really rare for a Lucario to be powerful enough to do that. I've seen him do so many things that seemed physically impossible, still messes with my head when I think about them. Anyway, wanna meet my other Pokemon?" ...I know it's my destiny!

"Yeah, true. I just don't want to end up missing my match because I'm off doing something else..." Roland trailed off, frowning. "Oh well. Things will work out. Yeah, that's probably a good idea, getting to a pokecenter. Besides, I'm sure with this loud speaker system we have, they'll be able to contact us when our match is up." With that, Roland grinned. "Lets go find the pokecenter. It'd be a nice thing to know where it is anyway."

Location:Somewhere on Ortus Island "Grrrr Bark bark bark Grrrrr!" Hellgar growled at the Eevee who had just crashed into him. The little pokemon quickly tried t get away but tripped over its own paws and went face first into to sand.
"Hellgar, what did you do that for, you'd prolly just scared the life out of the poor thing" Aiden scolded at his Houndoom. He went over to see if the tiny Eevee was ok. "Aww hey little guy are you ok, I'm sorry about my friend here. He's really not that scary I promise." Aiden spoke calmly to the frightened Eevee.
"Eeevvee?" He called out in a curious tone. He sat up and looked around, he had dropped his cotton candy in the sand and started to cry. The cotton candy had gotten covered in sand and was all dirty now.
"Aww don't cry little guy,here I have an idea" Aiden picked up the cotton candy and gently brushed off all the sand from it. "See, good as new" He said cheerfully.
"Eeev-Eeeveee Eeve!" The pokemon cheered out with a happy sparkle in his eye, he was beyond great-full and offered some to the duo.
"For me? Aww no thanks little guy" Aiden politely declined even though he hadn't eaten in a while. Just then Aiden heard a strange announcement echoing throughout the island ..that was odd, guess we better check it out...hmm I wonder what this Eevee is doing out here alone...is he wild? He seems far to social to be a wild pokemon...maybe he got separated from his trainer...can't let him stay alone though "Hey how would you like to continue walking along with us? I'm sure it'll be fun." Aiden offered.
"Eeeveee!" The pokemon cheered, his mouth full of cotton candy.
"Haha, alright well then lets head off" Aiden laughed.
With the newly joined Eevee tagging along, they were off to see where the announcement was coming from, and Aiden was still keeping an eye out for Meganeura.

Arcanas Location: Ortus Isle, Tournament Registration deskSharptooth flew them to where the tournament was being held, and Arcanas laughed to himself at all the startled people as they flew over. Seeing where people were starting to head towards, he patted his friend, and Sharptooth brought them down towards the Registration desk. Sliding off the Aerodactyl's back and landing gently on the ground, Arcanas made his way to the desk, while Sharptooth took back off towards the sky. "Hello, I'd like to register for the tournament, please." " Sure thing young man, I'll just need some basic information, name, pokemon, and where you're from." The clerk attending the registration desk was pretty cute too... Arcanas gave her all the information she asked for, and wondered why she had such a puzzled look on her face. "Um, is everything alright miss?" " It's just that...you only registered two pokemon. Everyone else has at least registered 4 or more." Arcanas grinned slightly, both out of arrogance and embarrassment. "I'll only need two" " Alright then, you'll hear for your matches on the PA system, so don't wander too far." "Sure thing." With that, Arcanas made his way back to the picnic area, where he left Zelgius. He whistled for Sharptooth to follow, and started walking.

Johnny Slayer Location:Ortus island centeral "Wow muddy just think about what we could do with all that money" "Mud!" Johnny strated to walk towards the table to sign up for the contest but the he remembered he was waitin for someone. Just then he noticed a clumsy professor stumbling all over the place it was his half brother Aster " My my my if it isn't aster finally up i see." Johnny intenionally let him sleep "well try not to mess this up brother ok?" Aster erupted into a flurry of cusre words just then johnny turned around and to his a amaziment he saw thomas comin his way on a staraptor //O_0//

Her eyes snapped wide when he mentioned meeting his other Pokemon. "Can I really," she asked, her voice filled with excitement. She loved meeting Pokemon. Plus, it would give her a chance to know more about Chris. ...I laugh and watch you fall.

Arcanas Location: Ortus Isle, Festival AreaAfter registering for the tournament, Arcanas checked out the time on his Poketch. Hm..almost time for Prof. Oak's lecture... I wonder where that place is... Looking up from his wrist, he saw Chris, minus Ryuken + a pretty girl. Not wanting to get in his way, he decided to head back to the picnic area, find Zelgius, and hopefully find his way to Prof. Oak's lecture. He looked up in the sky, and whistled again, making sure that Sharptooth was still there. Watching.

Having traveled so far Conner was becoming impatient about this mysterious man who had brought them here. Conner sent out Ludicolo so they could walk together "Ludicolo how about you and me sign in and then get some food?" said Conner. He signed in then noticed a huge Aerodactyl hanging around in the sky. "Whoah lets hope that thing hasn't been caught yet!"
