I don't know. I'm only semi-convinced of the devine. There might be one, there might not, and there are multiple and valid points to be made for either side.
However, I do believe that our little rock was just a coincidence. Things just kindof... evolved.. and tadaaaa! humans. I understand that we're complex and all, But I think that what our little world turned out to be just happened spontaneously, and probably by accident.

The one who told me love is dead. The one who taught me to hate instead. The one who told me I was ugly too. The teacher who taught these to me was you. Now I turn my back to you. Now I ignore every word spoken by you. Now I never speak of you. Now I never seek you. Foolishly, I handed my heart to you, And you crumpled it and threw it back. Now you don't suspect any attack? Shame on you.
Some random poem. Not true about me. I have no boyfriend! HA! I'm too young to be getting into that stuff.

ScarletFrost Sometimes I wonder how scientists can NOT believe in some greater, divine power. I mean, honestly, there's just SOOOOO MUCH out there, most of it destructive and violent. And yet here we are on our little green and blue oasis of life in the vastness of space. I guess I've never really taken up the Science VS God battle. It just doesn't make sense to me. Everything I learn about biology or chemistry or physics just adds to my awe and love for the Divine. It's one thing to say "the sun comes up because of god" and another thing to realize the exact physics that make up the solar system, and how devastatingly close we are to being burnt to a crisp or frozen solid. Seriously, just a handful of miles in one direction or another would be catastrophic to all life on earth. And the marvels just keep going, even on the cellular level. Just the wonders of the human body are spectacular. I mean, it takes 29 different chemicals and proteins just to make a clot so you don't bleed to death from a skinned knee. And then you have the immune system to fend off any bacteria that got into the blood system, and the regenerative properties of the cells around the wound to seal it up in a matter of days. The human body's capacity for healing is flippin' AMAZING. ah, yes, this reminds me of one of my favourite topics, my Theory on Evolution, where it meets the Philosophy of "as Above, so Below". ^_^ i'll put it up in teh Discussions subforum.

Evolution is just.... believable. it has so much evidence, and i have always felt that it was right. but see, looking around at it, it is clear and obvious that it is no accident, and not random at all. everything works together. as i said before though, i'll detail this in the Discussions Subforum. ^_^
