"No family name?" the dagon-mage mused, "Or none that'd you'd give us? Well then, why can't you speak now?"
------------
Blade had placed both hands on the closest spine of Rushia's wing and closed his eyes. There was a warm sensation in the wings and the veins in the new membrane were more visible as the blood flow strengthened. The man talked as he worked.
"I have a lot of reasons to answer that question with. I suppose the simplest answer is that I've sworn not to interfere with this world outside of what is necessary, but I like to cheat every now and then. I was here to take care of some things and decided to take the opportunity to do something on the side... like heal a dragon."
He pulled his hands away and smiled.
"There. Just do everything the Elder says and your wings should heal just fine. Feel free to move around now, they're strong enough. Just don't tell anyone I was here... let the healers think they're better than they thought."
He stepped back, still smiling, and gave Rushia a small bow.
-------------
Fam listened intently to Padar's explanation, swearing to only tell the other Stewards and those who needed to know about it all. (This is all wrapped up now, feel free to pull Padar out of the RP)
-------------
Hammand held up one hand to stall Lucien, listening to Master Lierce relaying something.
"Says his name is Blade," the knight finally said, "And that he's not using magic despite being given the opportunity to. I'm honestly not sure what to make of this anymore. I need to go inform the Stewards... if you're right about him trying to get caught they need to know to keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary. Whatever the hell that might be."

He did have a family name; he just chose not to give it for the time being.
At the question on why he couldn't speak, he simply shrugged. Quite frankly, he couldn't really explain it. At the most basic level, it was because he was 'told' he wouldn't be allowed to speak which then became that he couldn't talk at all for now.
'The guy who put me here made it that way.' he finally wrote onto the tablet. Who that man was exactly, he couldn't say for sure.

"Cause first off, I didn't say such a thing." -Hera shook her head as she fluffed her mane and then reposition herself to a more comfortable stance while giggleing at the comment of spiceing him up.-
"You mention of switching souls with bodies earlier, I was wondering if the same happen with you, only cause your no fallen."
-Hera then jerked her head in direction, magic.... something she couldn't ignore in many cases and her head vered to the side and looked at Thanos.-
"Well at least I stopped your senseless crying, and did some what spice you up." -she said this still keeping a watch in the distance where the majic was us for just a second.-
-She then then loosen up and slinked around with a sly smile.- "That was a fun game of tag, and your cute when you take action."
-Hera then walked to the side of the walls where the shadows hugged the walls and she troted away going off on her way.-

((Padar side finished. He's just going to get his face worked on aside from reference below with the knights.))
--------
No magic? Lucien looked back at the damaged dragon helm he'd set to the side resting against his own and scratched his head, tousling some of the helmet matted hair.
Whatever the hell is right.
He turned his attention back to Hammand. "Padar's spoken with a Steward at the infirmary and will be there until attended. I'll pass along the new information so the elder there may be informed at soonest notice. Do you wish for me to attend the meeting with the rest of the Stewards?"

Hammand gave a nonchalant shrug. It was a bit difficult to field questions from Lucien, mentally prepare for addressing the Stewards, and try and listen in on Lierce's questioning all at the same time.
"No, that's quite alright. You've done enough for now... just keep yourselves ready to be called up if something goes wrong. You know, standard procedure for having a dragon-hating maybe-mage in Gen'yiel." He rolled his eyes and gave the knight a quick grin before turning to hurry off.
((and this is resolved.... yay))
-------------
Blade glanced over his shoulder, checking the location of the other people in the ward. Thankfully, it was quiet.
"You might change your opinion once you hear about all the uproar I've caused in getting here... some of which I still need to fix. Good day, Rushia."
And he turned and hurried after Astalder.

-She had to think twice about what has he had said.- "You did say you were going to fill me in on what has happen to the other, but if you must go I guess I will learn later about it."
-She she quietly said to herself as he hurried off, Rushia then stretched and lowered back on the ground just incase someone else happen to come to check on her.-

It took awhile, but eventually Blade-with-white-hair managed to retell the tale of what had happened to the best of his ability. He was, for the most part, unaware of the conversation that took place between Thanos and the original white haired man so there was nothing on that. The story basically started with seeing the man running to strike Padar, then someone speaking to him as he was being swapped, then finding himself in the position of the one attacking the dragon.

Thanos stared for a bit as the Tainted trotted away, a bit confused. First, she'd been making fun of him, and now she was being almost...friendly. The despairing feeling that the world had given up on him faded further from the dragonet's heart, dropping to a level equally mixed with his confusion, the tail end of his frustration at the other's insults, and a newfound sense of hope that all might not be lost for him.
His head in the clouds from this swirling mix of feelings, Thanos wandered absently, no longer running, to the mouth of the tunnel that led out into the open air. Paying no heed to where he was going, the dragonet tumbled off a rather steep ledge and found himself painfully rolling down the mountain, too fast to sink his claws in or use his wings to lift off from the ground. He finally came to a stop when he crashed into a large boulder.
With a pained yelp, he got to his feet and tried to flap his way back toward the tunnel, but found that only one of his wings worked; the other one hurt viciously whenever he tried to move it. Looking over his shoulder, he saw that the other one was bent at an unnatural angle, and realized it must be broken.

Lapis sighed with relief as the young Tainted left Thanos and went on her way. She was also slightly encouraged by the fact that he no longer appeared quite as upset as he'd been when she'd first run into the little one. The dragon watched in silence as he started out of the mountain, feeling he had at least a slightly better prospect now that it no longer seemed that the whole world was against him. Lapis' relief was short-lived, however, as she saw the dragonet fall from the ledge.
She hurried to the mouth of the cave, and looked down to see that he seemed to have broken one of his wings. <<Kiara, scoot back and make room for another,>> she said urgently to her bound. <<The little one broke his wing. I'm going to fly down there and put him on my back. He needs to get to the infirmary.>> As soon as she felt the woman move into a better position, Lapis took flight, speeding down to where the dragonet had fallen, and magically lifted him gently onto her back. She then returned to the mountain, and hurried off down the tunnels leading to the ward. On her way, she spotted a black dragon and his bond, but didn't stop to acknowledge them, as she felt it more important to get this little one tended to.

As he was swept up and carried off toward the infirmary, Thanos quietly thanked his rescuer. Spotting Astalder and 'Blade' in the hall, he hunkered down as best he could, saying, "That's them! Astalder and... that man, who took over my friend's body!" The dragonet winced, realizing he'd spoken a bit too loudly and the pair had probably overheard him.

Lierce turned and walked away once Blade was finished with his story. A couple others followed him and the small group of Dragon-Knight elite talked quietly amongst themselves, occasionally voices rising with mild disagreement. Finally the knot split up and Lierce returned to where Blade was.
"We're fetching Astalder," he said quietly, "We have never heard of such a thing before outside of stories and legend."
There was a growl underneath his words, a veiled threat. He didn't seem to believe anything he'd heard. And the head of the Dragon-Knights was looking at Blade as if figuring out the best way to squash a bug.
---------
'Blade' caught up to Astalder and seemed to be about to say something, but instead fell quiet into a brooding silence. It didn't last long. His head snapped up, as if he was listening to something, and he turned to the dragon.
"I apologize," he said, speaking fast, "I've lied to you. I've stolen your Bound's form... swapped our souls for a short time. It's falling apart now and I need to put things right. We should head to where the Dragon-Knights are... they've just started looking for us."

Blade could blame the guy, sensing he wasn't quite believing what he had written down. His story wasn't exactly the most plausible thing out there, but it wasn't his fault for that.
---
Astalder glanced at Thanos as he was spewing off 'nonsense' once more. And he was about to mutter something about that when his 'bond' decided to confess to him.
"Wait what? How is that even possible?" he said, bewildered. Blade wasn't exactly the type to pull a joke like this off, so he was even more confused because of that. Just who was the white haired man anyway?
"A..alright. We'll head there but explain to me what's going on exactly?" he practically growled before turning down the tunnels that lead to the Dragon-Knight's part of Genyiel.

"It's a long story but I'll try and keep to the important parts," Blade said, struggling to keep up with the agitated Astalder, "My name is Sain. Think of me as a steward of sorts. Every now and then there are people in this world - usually dragons - who can see the paths of the future and then shape them accordingly. It is a very powerful thing to have and very dangerous if not held by someone with restraint. Thanos's father was starting to display those abilities so I confronted him and offered to show him how to become a... steward, like myself. He refused. I looked into his future and nudged him down the paths that would lead to his death."
"I also had to see if any of his blood had inherited the ability. This whole thing... the fictitious white-haired mage... the soul-swap... it was all a test. And now that I have my answers I need to set things right."
They were getting close to where the Dragon-Knights resided. Blade stopped and met Astalder's gaze. His eyes were pale and he had that small little smirk the mage had been displaying so often.
"One last thing. Best you keep most of what I told you to yourself. It's not good for me and mine to be common knowledge."

Astalder stopped as well to stare at the one inhabiting his bound's body. On a normal day, he would have deemed this as crazy-talk, but today was hardly normal in any regard. But it seemed he was right to an extent earlier when he said no human possessed this sort of power. Still, it was a little hard to digest. The thought that there were those with this much power was a little unsettling, especially when Blade had more or less been turned into a pawn for the sake of some test.
Speaking of which, the guy couldn't have been a very good mood right about now. He couldn't sense it at the moment, but he had a pretty strong feeling about that.
"Very well... Sain... but is the real Blade alright? I assume he's not dead since I was able to fly earlier..." he asked softly.

The elder checked in on Rushia a few hours after 'Blade' and Astalder had left. He marveled at how much her wings had healed since he'd last seen them and assumed his Bound must have pushed himself harder than he'd thought. After all, his human was still sleeping off the toll the healing had taken.
"Try and use them every day," he told her, "No actual flight, not until you have a Bound, but fan the spines and force the membrane to spread. Just go slow and don't open them in high winds for a while. You're free to wander Gen'yiel... I see no reason to keep you cooped up in the ward any longer."
-----------
"He's fine," Sain replied, "A bit rattled, maybe, but he'll recover. Ah, we're here."
One of the squires stepped away from the archway and moved to meet the dragon and human.
"They're looking for us," Sain whispered, "Go on and introduce us. Don't use my name. I'll just follow... need to think of what to say... Lierce can be clever."

As they approached the knights, Astalder nodded to Sain and went on to meet with the squire.
"Good afternoon," he greeted the other dragon and human, "I'm Astalder and this here is my bond. We caught word that the knights were seeking us out? Might I know why that is exactly?"
He spoke in a calm manner, with a hint of curiosity. It was as if he didn't already know what was going on around here.
