"Aerie..." he murmured softly. "I love you." he wanted to say it, to let her know it was true. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze and then he smiled. "Come on, Jax is dying to meet you." and he lead her in the direction of Lucian and his Lifemate Jaxon. Jaxon was a petite woman with fiery hair and bright green eyes. She was spunky, which was obvious because she was Lucian's shoulders, holding his hands out away from her above his head, telling him if he wanted her to get down he was going to have to either try harder or admit she did NOT need protecting. Azriel snickered.

I love you too." she said softly and followed him back inside as he told her Jax wanted to see her, and she was glad she could finally talk and truly meet her. As they walked into the other room she saw the other petite woman and she smiled and looked to Azriel. "When do I get to do that too you?" she asked her lifemate teasingly.

He laughed and kissed her nose. "I hope you won't have to." he admitted sheepishly, though he had a feeling he might be a little over bearing sometimes. He introduced her to Jaxon and he and Lucien struck up a conversation, both men alert and aware of their surroundings.
Jaxon laughed softly. "He thinks he's such a bad a**. But he's so not." she said, sticking her tongue out at the back of Lucien's head. That however resulted in the carpet beneath her feet raising off the ground a few inches and causing her to land on her butt, tho, only on the carpet and not the hard floor. Lucien looked behind him with mock curiosity and shrugged. Jaxon laughed and crossed her legs and gestured for Aerie to join her. "So, as I'm sure you know, I'm Jaxon Daratrazanoff. Welcome to the family, tho I'm sure you've heard that fifty million times tonight. So, I hear you have a critter problem."

She sat down to the girl on the ground and smiled looking to her. "Yeah... I heard you had something similar... how did you deal with it?" she asked as she curled her legs and hugged them to her chest.

Well, Lucien changed me, and then we devised a plan. We let the vampire's minions into our home, they were posing as human men, and when he launched an attack to off Lucien we attacked him together." [I think that's what happened.. lol]
She smiled. "I can help you set some stuff up to get rid of him." she offered seriously. "It's kind of our thing..."

"It's fine, we ran from him, he won't know where I have gone." she said softly and looked over her shoulder at her lifemate. Though she knew there was no way that the vampire knew she had come here, Aerie slight felt as though she was running. Maybe she was too use to being on the run that finally stopping was a lot for her to adjust to. But she also had a creeping feeling like though she was one the otherside of the world that he was still searching for her, like she was still having that nightmare that she experienced back in the hotel. The vampire felt like a ghost around her, in her, stalking her. But she kept that to herself. She worried maybe she was just being paranoid and didn't need everyone worrying, especially Azriel. She was safe with all of them, and with her lifemate.

"He will follow you, I know it's not what you want to hear, but he's immortal. A little move isn't going to stop him... I'm sorry. It's obvious he's attached to you. I thought coming here would stop him too, but it didn't...." she sighed, it's never that easy.

"We will see...." she murmured, but then felt a snickering laugh and she turned her head looking for who was laughing. But as she looked she saw people laughing but it was not the same snickering she had heard. Shaking her head she looked back to Jax. "Thanks for your help.... it's nice to know that I'm not the only one." Aerie smiled to her and breathed in deeply.

Azriel looked over at her, concern in his eyes. Are you alright?
Jaxon nodded. "Any time, here's my card if you want to get ahold of me any time. Cell number is on the back. We should get going soon. The sun will be rising within the hour." and that being the case, slowly, more and more Carpathians and humans started saying good bye and filing out, leaving the house clean and the family to themselves.

I can garauntee I will call sometime." she said cheerfully and then turned her head as Azriel spoke to her through their link, and she glanced to her lifemate as she stood. I am fine. she told him and bid Jax goodbye and then bounced back over to her lifemate. "We need to get some sleep." Aerie said as she leaned her head against his arm.

He nodded in agreement, cradling her against his side. "I have a chamber here where we can sleep. There's a bed and a plot of earth I can rest in." he told her smiling softly, content and at ease in his familiar surroundings.
He bid his friends farewell and his sister and her mate left and so did his brother and his lifemate. His oldest brother opted to stay as his home was a longer trip than theirs, leaving him, Aerie, his brother and his parents. He took Aeries hand after everyone said good night and led her downstairs.

Though she wanted to have him by her like she had had the night before she realized he needed the rest of his kind to be healthy. "Okay. I don't think I will sleep much after I slept on the plane here... but will you stay with me until I do fall asleep?" she asked as they walked down to the basement. Her hand gripping his tightly as they did and she smiled. He wrapped his arms around her and lifted her into his arms, carrying her the the affore mentioned room. "Yeah, I'll stay up with you. I promise I'll be here till you fall asleep." he murmured softly, his deep voice held a hint of the old world as he spoke.
[so, what do we do when, as the carpathians tend to do, they start getting intimate with eachother?]

And as he promised to stay with her, she smiled and rested her head against his shoulder. "Thank you." she murmured softly and lifted her head as they entered the room and looked around. The room was perfect, and just as old world as Azriel seemed. The four poster bed was beautiful and brought out a longing that made Aerie blush.[[Just give a little time skip?]] ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ○ Don't look back till your free to chase the morning ○

He too felt the urge, not only his own, but hers. His stomach tightened and heat flooded through him at the images that came to his mind unbidden. He laid her down and move to lay beside her.
[I'm cool with Roleplaying it out or skipping. Either one is fine with me.]
