Singsaith The best explanation that I've ever heard for the squeek sounds was that everyone in the game couldn't speak, so they communicated by taking markers to a board and wrote the words out. Singsaith And I don't think Alex was older than the group by that much. He was, after all, Mia's apprentice. How many times do you see the apprentice being older than the teacher? Quote: In the English version of Golden Sun, Alex is described as being Mia's apprentice. However, this is inconsistent with the Japanese version of the game, which describes Alex as having been the apprentice to Mia's unnamed father, who is presumably deceased by this point. Considering how Alex is a young man who appears to be older than Mia, this is the more commonly accepted background for Alex.

Alex would be in his 60's by now and he will still be the enemy Eh, I don't think we ever found out how old he originally was, and I seriously doubt it was 30+. well he surely was older than Felix and Isaac's group, and knew a lot about the age before the stars were sealed. He could have found out by doing research. And even if we assume that he had to be older than them to be as strong as he was, that still means he could be 19/20. maybe he has that power in him that ownt let him age a day so he could really be 100 years old bu still looks like he is 20 3nodding I was kind-of using 100 as an exsample but maybe he ages very very slowly so he dosent get that old very fast

Doesn't make sense. Alex doesn't strike me as subservient, especially to Mia, who is quite obviously younger. EDIT: Yeah, what Azura said.

One of the major highlights of this game... there is no way in Hell Kraden still lives.

No, he could be alive. I'd be displeased, but he could quite easily be living in Lemuria.
