[Reimu :: Hakurei Shrine]
"Gone?" Reimu's eyes narrowed. Come to think of it, Sakuya had said something about that earlier, too, but Reimu had written it off at the time. Now, however, her stomach suddenly felt like an empty pit. Reimu's intuition was legendary, and right now she had a terrible feeling of impending disaster. She didn't doubt for a second that Alice was telling the truth.
"There's tea in the Shrine. Come in. You'd better tell me everything you know about this." Reimu glanced at Chiyo, her expression completely unreadable. "It looks like I'm going to have to teach you about Spell Cards some other time. Resolving incidents is my duty, you know. Besides, if it's Marisa," Reimu paused, and tilted her head to the side, "I have a personal interest in this as well, you might say."
Reimu turned and opened the door to the shrine's living quarters, wordlessly inviting the other two inside as she put on a kettle for tea.

[Kyouko :: SDM :: Gate]
"OOF!!!" Kyouko let out a grunt at she was puched, and sent sprawling backwards a few feet. She regained her balance and glared at Meiling. "Don't you want to help Remilia?! We all have the same goal here!" She looked back to Chen and the others. "Come on! We have to pass her quickly! Help me out!"
She glanced back and Meiling, and walked over to a large rock. "Looks like it's time to use what Marisa taught me. Callow love...." She grabbed the rock, and lifted it above her, then yelled "ONI'S MASTER SPARK!!!" as she threw the monstrous Boulder straight at Meiling. She had to either block it, or take the blow, for if she didn't it would surely impact the gate....not that Kyouko had thought of that.

[Momiji : SDM : Gate]
Wow things really moved fast around here. Hong Meiling was also being a jerk. She wasn't going to let them in. Didn't she know of the severity of the situation? Seriously? Weren't several of her friends human. Something was fishy... and she was going to get to the bottom of it.
Momiji prepared her claws to unleash an attack the guard. She was ready to make her mark. Just to wait for an opening after Kyouko's attack.

 [Hong Meiling: Scarlet Devil Mansion Gate] Had to block, or take the blow? Ha! Meiling was better than that, and knowing the gate would be destroyed, it fueled one her own attacks. Bracing herself, low to the ground and feet spread, she pulled her palms back, charging her Qi. "Chi sign..." The Qi started to form, circling and gathering into a small sphere as quick as she could muster it, before pushing her palms forward and out. "STAR PULSE BURST!" The sphere greatly grew in size in an instant, moving forward and into the rock, which was almost right in front of her. The rock exploded with teh Qi blast, and Meiling stood there, her cap having fallen off and behind her from the blast as rocks and pebbled rained down. Once one hit her forehead, the guard lifted a hand, pointer finger raised, and said "Aha!" Collapsing to her knees, Meiling put the back of her hand to her forehead and sighed loudly. "Oh no! What have you done? You have defeated me. I must let you pass, for I don't have the strength to stop you anymore." Yep, still monotone, by the way.

[Kyouko :: SDM :: Gates -> Main Hall]
Kyouko got into a guarding stance as the rock shattered. However, when the dust cleared, Meiling had collapsed, and couldn't stop them! "Aha! See that! I told you we'd make it through!!" She looked back at the group. "Comon guys, we gotta hurry! Otherwise, all the humans might be gone before we have a chance to stop the perpetrator!!" And with that, she started quickly walking towards the main door. Once she arrived, she promptly kicked the door open all the way, completely unnoticing of the fact that it had been open a crack already, as brilliantly laid out by Remilia, though it would now never be known.
She looked around the hall, noting some vases off the pedestals (though they were unbroken, a fact completely over Kyouko's head.) She did, however notice the trail roughly lead through one of the upper doors. "Hmmm...it looks like they struggled to hold back the perpetrator, backing up the stairs..." she mumbled.

[Momiji : SDM : Gates -> Main Hall]
Momiji was prepared to fight for nothing. That fight was over before she had a chance to do anything. Perhaps Meiling was weaker than she thought.... No there was something up.
Momiji followed quickly after Kyouko. The home was certainly a curious crime scene. The wolf closed her eyes as she sniffed. It was defiantly strange.
"Hey does this place smell off to anyone else?" she asked.

[Sukina: SDM: Gates -> Main Hall]
Dumbfounded. That described Sukina perfectly at the moment. How could anyone be this...this...stupid?
There isn't enough intelligence in this girl to make her last that long...great, now I'm feeling pity for her.
The ivy youkai followed after Kyouko, heading into the mansion with the group and mentally scolding herself for following along. All she was going to do was feel more pain, more than likely...
Momiji, yes, Sukina was starting to like Momiji for at least smelling something wrong with this picture. The vases being off but not broken, the guard's horrid perfomance...this was just getting sad that her 'party' was so mentally slow.

[Alice :: Hakurei Shrine]
"Thank you." Alice stated, following Reimu inside of the shrine. She quietly admired the simplicity of it all, finding the interior to be quite peaceful. Alice almost wished for this kind of peace, instead of Kyouko's constant bothering.
It would just be her and Marisa, tending to a quiet house in the forest. They would garden and read...Then retire to their lovely bedroom for the evening. Ah, that would be perfect. "So...Reimu...what do you know of Marisa's leaving?"

[Reimu :: Hakurei Shrine]
"All I know," Reimu said as she poured her guests and herself tea, "is that you say she's missing. And that Sakuya said something vague about Kyouko and kidnapped humans. What do you know of Marisa's leaving?"
Reimu took a long sip of tea, allowing Alice to speak. Reimu's demeanor had changed remarkably now that Alice was here as a 'client'. She seemed serious, almost professional even.

[Alice :: Hakurei Shrine]
"Not much. All I know is that she left me a note as well as this." Alice said meekly, as if holding back tears. She set the Hakkero down on the tea table, then scooped up her tea cup and took a small sip. This was a difficult problem to solve, but she had to. She had to find Marisa...no matter the cost.

[Reimu :: Hakurei Shrine]
"That's certainly suspicious." Reimu picked up the Hakkero, looking it over. As she did, the terrible feeling in the depths of her gut intensified. She couldn't quite put her finger on why, but Marisa's actions in giving to Alice her treasure were filling her with a sort of dark anticipation. It was a familiar feeling, one that Reimu had suffered repeatedly since Marisa had become romantic with Alice. In the back of her consciousness, in that place just between scant awareness and articulability, she feared the confirmation of her suspicions, but since such thoughts were unpleasant, she put them out of mind.
Reimu put the Hakkero down and looked at the wall as she spoke. "I guess she gave it to you because you were 'intimate'. Did you check her house?"

Remilia :: Scarlet Devil Mansion :: Basement]
Remilia's fiendishly keen ears were pressed to the basement ceiling, gleefully listening for the footfalls and exclamations of the idiot oni girl. The bearer of those ears, however, was distressed to learn that Kyouko was not alone. There were . . . at least three, maybe four distinct footfalls. And then, a level voice wondered if her partners shared her suspicions.
Remilia hissed softly. Their 'preperations' had not been enough to fool any but the most foolishly disposed, she knew that. Would the idiot's companions see through her deception enough to persuade her not to pursue the note's writer? The vampire could only wait and see.

((Taking over as Alice))
[Alice :: Hakurei Shrine]
Alice blinked for a second, then sighed. "No I did not. But This doesn't feel like a prank, and I wouldn't expect one of her fron the get go. Even if she had just worded it wrong...the Hakkero makes it quite worrying. I suppose it couldn't have hurt to check, though." She said this, with a tone of worry.

[Chiyo :: Hakurei Shrine]
Chiyo tried to follow the conversation at first, honestly... she tried. But the wolf youkai couldn't quite suppress the large yawn that escaped from her mouth. She immediately clamped her hands over her mouth and ducked down as if it would help her from getting noticed. Feeling that it wasn't enough, Chiyo quickly transformed back into a wolf trying to look as interested as possible.
They must be doing grown up things, I see Otōsan talking a lot to animals I don't know too.

[Sakuya || Scarlet Devil Mansion || Basement]
Sakuya left her mistress to do the eavesdropping while Sakuya herself prepared some snacks on the side. Knowing Kyouko, (even with the aid of a blatant path) it could take a while. Kyouko for one was not the sharpest tool in the shed, if anything she was probably thrown out of the shed.
The maid poured two cups of tea, one for Remilia-Sama and another for Flandre-Sama. Beside the cups was a small dish of tea biscuits. Sakuya glanced over to where Remilia's ears were pressed against the ceiling, it could have been considered odd if Sakuya wasn't so used to Remilia's behavior already. In fact, her mistress might have even looked a bit troubled.
"Flandre-Sama, would you like something to drink or eat?" The silver haired maid asked the younger sibling, knowing better than to disrupt the older sibling of the two.
