Bawlly eyed the brownie as the waitess handed it to her. It's smell was something she had never encountered before, but it made her mouth water. She tore a chunk of it off with her trunk and placed it in her mouth. "This is fantastic!" she exclaimed. The new found food made her temporarliy forget her anger toward Trev.

Bawlly gasped, "There's more?" she became rather excited. What else did the guild have to offer? There was so many new things that she hadn't ever dreamed of. She beamed at Klash while stuffing her mouth with more brownie.

Tolin entered the store with a Bulbasaur clutched against his chest. His companion had woken up in the middle of the night and insisted that he didn't feel like sleep. Serrin struggled against his grip as he tried to free himself. As Tolin approached the bar, he set the child down on a stool. Which he stayed on for all of a half second before proceeding to run around the cafe.

In the midst of the late night, the usual bartender was absent. Another miltank--this one more normally coloured--had taken her place. "Some warm milk for him. And I apologize for the trouble." The Miltank nodded sympathetically. Raising a kid was hard work. "Of course. It'll be just a moment."

Meanwhile, Serrin ran around the diner unabated. Tolin didn't have the energy to catch him without restoring to rather extraneous methods and the cafe was empty enough that they weren't bothering many people, if anyone.

Serrin just kept on running. His eyes were closed (he was smiling rather intently) as he ran and he didn't even see the poor Kabuto who he promptly crashed into. The Rapid Spin caused him to loose his footing, making him flip over and land on his back where he proceeded to look incredibly confused as to what just happened.

Tolin glanced at the THUD noise to see his little guy crash into the floor. A poor Kabuto was sitting nearby, looking rather dazed by the whole situation. He slid off his stool and walked over to the bug-like creature. "Are you alright?"

Was he rude or just socially awkward? Without a face or even a real body to put the words to, it was difficult to tell. He was, however, not one to subvert decent manners. "Serrin, come here please." Serrin immediately rolled over onto his feet and walked over, a curious look on his face. "Apologize to this gentleman." Serrin looked back and forth between the two for a moment before deciding on a course of action. "I'm sorry."

Tolin nodded, a pleased look on his face. "Come now, your milk should be ready by now." Serrin walked off happily in the direction of the bar where the Miltank served him. "I apologize for my friend. At present he's a bit... out of sorts. Please, let me buy you a drink as a way of apology." Tolin walked to the bar and sat down, turning to face the Kabuto. "My name is Tolin. May I ask yours?"

Serrin happily drank the milk. Derp!

Tolin nodded, a smile spreading across his face. He was just a bit awkward, then. "Well met, Jasper. What can I get for you? Anything off the menu is fine." He intended to make good on his promise.

Tolin let out a mirthful chuckle before waving to the Miltank. "Please, a brownie for the good man beside me and a cookie for myself." He turned slightly on his stool to face Jasper. "So, how long have you been in town?" Judging from his actions, he couldn't have been around very long. Most people would've gotten around social anxiety, at least a little, if they'd lived here for a long time.

Serrin kept drinking his milk DERPADERP.
