 AtraAtra opened his eyes a slit when he heard someone else arriving, but closed them again when he saw it was just his brother. He sank down into the water a bit more so that it was almost up to his nose. "Hullo." He murmured in reply, barely audible above the boiling water. He opened his eyes again when he heard a slight splash and watched as his brother swam around the warm pool. Deciding that he really didn't care about Albus, or anything really at the moment, he shifted his gaze up to the sky.

 Albus" What's wrong with you?" Although the tone didn't quite match the meaning, there was genuine concern in the question. Albus knew his brother fairly well and in spite of the fact that they were often at odds he did care for him. Albus continued with a slightly (but not too) mocking tone. " Did you get your a** handed to you?"

Atra He looked back down when his brother addressed him, and his first reflex was to snap at the other Flareon. He let it go though, knowing that Albus meant well. "Actually, I killed the idiots who messed with me. Load of good that did though..." He responded, dropping his voice at the end. Though he tried to keep it steady, his voice cracked a bit. He couldn't hold it any longer though; he's avoided talking about it, since if maybe he didn't think about it, it would stop being the truth. But keeping it to himself hadn't been easy either and he just had to talk about it. "Molly's dead." He said rather suddenly, and this time his voice did give way to a strangled sob. He choked it back, blinking to keep back the tears but it came anyways.

Albus Albus watched his brother carefully. He'd half-expected a cocky comeback and half-expected... this. Whatever it was, it had wounded Atra greatly. The two twins were not so easily moved to tears; perhaps not because of personality, but position. Both were prideful, arrogant children who were bereft of cataclysm or accident due to their birth. A skinned knee or stomped foot would not elicit tears. The suffering of others was, often and always, so far away that it had no relevance--no meaning. And so it was that Albus watched his brother carefully in the brief, awkward silence. When Atra finally spoke, Albus understood. " Ah geeze..." Molly had been one of Atra's few friends. One of his best friends. The twins had had many "friends", many acquaintances, but Molly was one of the very few Atra held dear. Albus had never known her well, but she always seemed to be a fine individual. Albus paddled over to beside his brother, noting the much increased temperature around him. He wasn't really sure how to comfort his brother, but... Well, let's get this water under control at least. The temperature wasn't so bad, but the hiss of the steam was frustrating to say the least. Albus's tail turned upright, leaving the safety of the submerged water. It dried in a moment, the fur puffing out as far as it could. He consciously siphoned heat out of the water, expelling it through his tail. In moments, the water came down to a calm surface.

Atra Atra forced himself to take several deep breaths in order to calm down. His tears dried quickly, hissing lightly against his fur. He watched his brother bring the temperature of the water down until it was no longer boiling but simply steaming. Looks like Albus has this whole fire-type thing under control, unlike Atra. Lilium's been spending much of her waking hours fire-proofing his room. "Thanks..." He murmured, having had to forcibly stop himself from subconsciously reach for his ice magic several times already. His magical systems, while on the mend, would still hurt like hell if he tried to force anything through them. There was another silence, and Atra once again closed his eyes, simply just enjoying the water. "So when did you evolve?" he eventually asked. There was nothing more to be said about Molly; Albus understood and simply sharing the news seemed to make the ache of losing her just a bit more OK.

Albus Albus replied with a simple " Mmm." to the thanks, more intent on keeping the water under control and relaxing than anything. His eyes closed as he soaked in the comfortably hot water. When the question came, his ears flicked slightly and his eyes opened. " A few days ago. It was after a mission. We were headed for a Charizard."

Atra After a mission. Presumably in the chamber, like Atra had always intended. Intended...with an Icy Rock...Arceus dammit, why did things have to work out this way? "And to think I was looking forward to looking different from you. So why Flareon of all things?" Now that he thinks about it, he and Albus really hasn't seen each other very often after joining the Guild now have they? And whenever they did, they acted like...well, usual.

Albus Albus mulled it over in his mind for a moment. There wasn't actually any dramatic reason he'd chosen Flareon. There had been no dramatic push, no fear or desire. Just a desire for strength. " No reason in particular. It made the most sense. Though, admittedly I was attracted to the lack of... extra parts." Lord forbid he turn into a vaporeon and grow a pair of flippers or something.

Atra Did Albus really put such little thought into his evolution? Evolving was a big decision, one that would change everything in one's life eventually. Atra had been debating his own choices for years, only to have it made for him. He hadn't even been ready to evolve at all. Atra dove his head under the water, remembering how before the water would be too hot and unbearable for him to do this. But as a Flareon, the water felt neutral temperature-wise at best, a bit chilly at worse. Water couldn't even physically be warm enough for him to enjoy as before anymore; it would simply just evaporate instead of getting hotter. Ducking his head back up, he grabbed onto the edge of the Crystal walls and pulled himself up. As an eevee, this end of the pool had been deep enough for him to swim in... On dry land, he shook his fur, the water flying away from him hissed and bubbled. His warm fur dried completely in seconds, leaving him enshrouded in steam. Curse this evolution. Though he thought that coming here would help him calm down, he really didn't want to be here anymore. He had used to come here with Molly and Sherman... "I'm heading back to the Guild." He told his brother wearily, making his way between the two pools to reach the path out. He stopped halfway there though, oddly aware of the fact he wasn't wearing his Earth Plate as he had gotten used to for so long. "Hey, remember what father told us about Judgment and the power of the plates? If you ever get a plate, be careful with it...it hurts so much to use." The warning was as much of a "I do care about you" you'll ever get from Atra.

Albus Albus no longer had to manage the temperature, instead choosing to relax in the water, chuckling quietly at the comment. It explained a few things, to say the least. If Atra came here to relax, it probably wasn't too long after using it. Not too soon, not too long. If it'd taken a while, he probably would've tracked Albus down to gloat. And aside from the brief stint into Reverse World, Albus could barely move after using it. So, that meant they probably used it at about the same time. " Yeah, I know. It hurt like hell."

Atra Atra paused for a moment at Albus's reply, and shook his head. Gods, and he wondered sometimes if they were actually twins? Arceus must be really enjoying himself up there somewhere. After everything, they still looked identical! Shuddering with the memory of using Judgment, Atra padded off. "Later."

 ~ Damon~ Damon strolled casually back to the springs, the air suddenly becoming thick with the steam that came off the hot water. He took a deep breath in, there were some quality gems around these parts, a perfect feast for him. He turned around to the path that stretched out behind him, looking for Suki. She hadn't fallen that far behind, right? Where was she?

 SukiSuki appeared out of the steam, twirling the hem of her dress playfully. Just because they didn't have a bedroom to go to didn't mean that she couldn't be a little playful~
She hugged him tightly. "Suppertime!" She giggled, kissing his cheek, and disappearing back into a cloud of steam.
See if he could find her now.

~ Damon~ Damon laughed Suki hugged him and ran off into the steam. He plucked a stray crystal from a nearby growth and began to look for Suki in the mist. A few Nasty Plots later and he had quite a few ideas. A quick Gravity would send her plummeting into the water, a bit of Flattery or a Confuse ray would end in a similar result... but they all seemed to be such mean mood-ruiners. He continued to chew thoughtfully on the gem when he had an idea. He smiled and started to turn the gem in his hands watching as the moonlight danced off its surface and into the mist. He soon saw several beams of moonlight bouncing off of something other than mist, he pounced at it, preparing to glomp whatever it was "Gotcha!" Wait...what if it wasn't Suki... crap.

SukiSuki had thought that she was safe from a return tackle. She'd clearly thought wrong.
With a sharp squeal of surprise, Damon tackled her, sending both Ghost-type plummeting down into the steamy water.
Now under the surface, Suki's eyes widened suddenly. A blush spread across her face as she realized where Damon's hand was.
