"Don't be afraid, darling. I will cover your retreat. This Modus Operandi design is really something, dear. But I think I've improved on your design a bit. MO2, Marie launching!" John stood still, stunned. At Byrd's call he snapped to attention and boarded the damaged Zeta Gundam. "Everyone! We aren't in a position to win this fight! Marie and I will cover you, board the transport! We must escape! Wulf, can you lend us a hand?"

John drew two beam sabers and began putting the borrowed Gundam through its paces. He kept a watchful eye over the base personnel and their cargo as the transport was loaded. The new Modus Operandi moved about with a definitely feminine flair, dancing about like a ballerina...it moved just as Marie would. The ice blue paint job even reminded John of his wife. "Marie...how...?" The MO2 did not falter in its attack on the golden machines as Marie gave her answer. "I'm sorry, John. There will be time for this talk...but right now we must keep hope alive--the Gundam pilots are needed to fight Backdraft!"

"That's enough!" The hyperjammers disengaged and Byrd launched forward, heat rodding every suit unlucky enough to get caught in his way. Coming to a stop at the rear of the enemy formation, he turned around, and flared his wings. The wings begin to shimmer slightly, glowing brighter as time passes. The Epyon Spectre then takes a stance as if it's about to take off running, then seems to warp back to the front, hovering in front of the now-frozen suits at the center of the group. Ten seconds later, bang. All affected suits explode. "I'm baaaaaaack."

"Hot..... Damn." Koza stared for a second, then regained his composure and began firing on the suits. "I wish these damn things were never created!!!"

"Stay in the air next to the ships, we can't afford any losses!" Kamon had kept cutting the suits down, but they didn't seem as powerful as before, although they were still a major threat. As he was turning around, he saw in horror as one of them had gotten behind him, and closed his eyes as it swung its saber at him. 'So this is how it ends huh...' Then without warning it had stopped, and exploded, the weapon bits doing their work perfectly. "Guys, get moving!" With that he was already flying up along with one transport, firing the Twin Buster as he went, taking out dozens at a time.

Keeping his eye on his friends, Kamon didn't notice one gold suit coming straight for him till the last second. It swung a saber at him, but was blocked by Arashi's large blade, just being grazed on the head, the signature Gundam V-fin falling off. "Ok, now that just sucks." He said as he put the Twin Buster to it and fired a quick shot.

"Don't worry, the nanites should kick in any minute now." Kamon flew up quickly, firing a couple final bursts formt he Twin Buster. "Arashi needs a new V-fin now." Landing inside the carrier, Arashi was a bit unstable, mostly from the moving surface of the carrier. "Once we get to the new base, I'm going to modify Arashi's shield to carry some weapon bits." Climbing out of Arashi, Kamon looked up at the head, now minus a V-fin. "I hate those suits."

Adalwulf had earlier exchanged his glaive to his beam rifle, after noticing that most of the fight was taking place away from him. Thanks to the targeting system that Lillia had, his bad depth perception wasn't too much of a problem. Whenever he took one of the enemy suits out, though, he felt a bit of guilt. He followed Kamon into the carrier and set Lillia down near the back, then opened the cockpit up. He took a long drink of the bottle that he'd brought along and held up his flash drive to look at it. "You think we're safe enough so I can take a look see at this?" He asked Kamon.
