Lyvesta wasn't fast enough to hide the startle caused by the Drow's sudden motion, so on edge she was. Confused, she picked up the coins and pocketed them for future delivery to her master. Then she sat down on the stool behind the counter, still a bit distressed and meditating on what had just happened.

he did so, smirking the entire time, and grabbed his hat, placing it on the knob of the back of the chair he sat in at the new table.

"i could very well use a man of your talents, Izzd. i am currently between secondary jobs, and quite bored and lonely. i seek a means of contacting the, uh..." he lowered his voice to a whisper and covered his mouth next to the thief's ear. "the Vhaeraunites. their god has instructed me to join him. i want to find a priest of their religion and become inducted in it."

he leaned back again, and raised his chin, still smiling. "do you think you can help me with that?" he asked.

"I see..dangerous territory.. Well,I can do your work, for a simple finding mission,I will only charge fifty gold. If I need to kill someone it's an additional sixty a head. As for company, just plain company or company" Izzd winked at the man and motioned for a goblin to come over,he wanted a drink if he was shelling out all this cash.

"mehhhh..." Val grunted. "don't worry. it's unlikely i'll take you to bed, and if i do decide to you'll be plenty compensated. i can flash alot more coin than you are asking. i'll pay you quadruple what you charged. two hundred gold to get me there, and two-hundred and forty gold per head."

in truth, he decided to do so because he felt insulted at such a low asking price. regardless, it would be good to have someone around on his journy. someone to keep him from going insane, and who could double as a meat shield if things got bad.

he payed the goblin, and tipped handsomely. "if you've a good fish wine i'll take eight bottles please."

The slave looked at the coins in its scrawny hand, then stared blankly at the Drow customer, finally scuttled off, rounding up a small party of helping hands among its coworkers. They went into the backroom and emerged with two bottles each, the sort that the customer had ordered. One by one, they lined up before him; they had been slaves long enough to expect the Drow to have them carry the bottles home for him. Or he'd just take them off their hands. At any rate, they waited.

"AH wonderful!! Never turn down the option of being paid more, provided you have the coin to back that up. Alright,so you said lead you? I thought this was a kidnapping or seeking mission.. If I am your guide then there are a few ground rules." Izzd had ordered the goblin to bring him a bottle of deaths head. It was Izzd's new favorite drink, only because it was strong enough to get him tanked after one, maybe two bottles.

"Rule one,you do as I say,so if I say stay put or fall back you do so. Rule two there is one speed, mine. Rule three, you always pay me after each kill,it's easier to keep track of my rate this way. I have survived this long because I do what I do, don't question it and we should get through this with little confrontation."

Val rolled his eyes, but didn't argue. it was worth it. he conjured a carrier bag and put the bottles of wine in it.

"let's head out then." he announced. he wanted to get there as soon as possible. "we can go to Au'Shinduago through my house. i have a special portal."

As he arrived back at the tavern, Naki had to admit -at least to himself- that he was thoroughly impressed. There he was, off to gather what he needed for the expansion and only a few yards away he had bumped headfirst across a small army sent by House Auvrea'mitore to fall under his command for the works of expansion. Slaves, warriors, casters, even extra funds; High Priestess Ghaunkah had spared no expense. Even though it put a dent in his freedom, Naki had to admit that placing his business under the mantle of a House definitely had its perks.

When they found him and started marching with him to the tavern, Naki had already distributed tasks among the group. Extra space had to be acquired, by gold if possible or by force if necessary; thus several fighters went in to secure the extra space and some others kept watch so that the operation went down smoothly. Casters were dispatched to add several enchantments against noise and minor scrying, as well as many others. Some slaves were sent to retrieve the materials needed for the contruction of the new place, as well as extra supplies for all the areas of the estsblishment. More food, drink, as well as assorted supplies that were not tavern-related.

First we clean up, then we build up, he thought. It was going to be a beaut. He was aware all this help came with a price, and that Priestess Ghaunkah would ask for a friendly favor eventually. But he didn't care that much. He would even get to bash skulls in for the sheer Hell of it.

"Alright, then shall we go?" Izzd took his bottle from the goblin who had delivered it. Popping the top and guzzling down the sickly sweet alcohol quickly. Breathing heavily and shaking his head back and forth, closing his eyes tight and opening them again.

"Lolth,thats good"

they left the pub and went to the guarded door in an unremarkable stalagmite that was his home. opening it up to reveal the splended manor inside. after closing the door and turning a dial, he opened it again to reveal the city of Au'Shinduago. (continued in the Au'Shinduago City Propper.)

Outside of the tavern, it was active as an anthill. Warriors and a few casters from House Au'vreamitore formed a protective circle while the areas that would house the new commodities of the expanding tavern were acquired. Supplies of all kinds started arriving; materials, food, drink, slaves. And in the midst of it all, the Wolf demon orchestrated the whole endeavor.

Scores of Duergar and Shield dwarves were sent in to start rebuilding and repairing, tearing down and redesigning. A second story was being added, as well as new wings on each flank of the formerly ramshackle tavern. The bar area was kept as undisturbed as possible, though probably hardly any patrons would want to be among all this organized chaos. Who could blame them.

Thanks to the massive workforce involved and the constant motivation that they received, as well as the endless parade of supplies and materials plus the magical means at hand, the expansion of the bar area in order to accomodate more patrons was done with and several rooms were added and fully equipped in a relatively short period of time; thus the first phase was completed.

Once the rooms at one flank and above the bar were fully ready, the workforce was channeled into the next stage of the project. This is were the duergar and shield dwarves would be particularly useful, for Naki intended to create bathtubs and massage tables from sheer stone polished to shine. The whips came down relentlessly on the captive laborers, and work went on without any interruption.

A tall pale female, dressed in jet black elven mithril chainmail, a hooded cloak pulled up to hide her face save for the pale glean of its lower portion, and red glowing eyes. A vicious looking scythe, her most prominent weapon poised on her back. An aura of dread, and the smell of death wafting off of her in droves, steps into the bar. Glancing arround Serina sees the place seems to be under some construction, she approaches the bar paying no heed to the guards taking a seat she states to the person tending bar, "I want three of your hardest beverages mixed strait no ice tripple shot."

While overseeing the work in progress nearby the bar's doors, Naki caught a stench that put him on edge. Whoever was emanating it, he or she had caused mayhem and carnage, either not too long ago or on a regular basis. Turning around he saw a figure with a scythe on her back entering the bar. He muttered to a nearby Auvrea'mitore officer to keep watch for him, then swung into the tavern with noiseless step.

Lyvesta, the blue-skinned female, was about to tend to the order but she looked up and simply stopped. The next second, Naki had slid behind the counter, tossed his already removed duster into a corner revealing his black tanktop, and leaned forward.

"The strongest drink here is also the priciest", he said with raspy voice and neutral tone, piercing the hood covering the customer's face with feral yellow eyes. "If I'm gonna serve it to you, I got to see that you have the means to pay for it".

As soon as Naki took over, his pet slave slid unnoticed into the backroom.

The woman clearly a human albeit a strange one, reached slowly into one of the pockets of her cloak pulling out a blood stained money stuffed coin pouch, "I assure you i can pay, now give me the drink, and if its worth a large tip to yourself, some information." She says in a low dark tone, the smell of rank death increasing a little as she speaks.

((That leaves me in limbo... can't even move on with the works in progress, because I don't know if I can move the time continuity to my needs or if this interaction keeps me stuck in place))
