((Well, so far I haven't had a scratch, so now I'm just gonna wait for people to fight me, seeing as I don't want to go to the Underground where my team is. gonk ))

[gray]Eventually, Macro 3 accepted the fact that no further fighting was going to take place here. So, instead, he made his way down to the Underground, ready to help out the other robot.

Nevin approached the building in his quadruped mech. Shara was still riding on the side, and he stopped briefly to look up in awe at the magnificent sight. Yes, on top of that was a good place to be. He started towards it again.

"Looks like there's been some action here." Shara hopped off the mecha as they approached the building. Drawing her pistol with her left hand she also grabed a bulett from her pocket with her right hand. "Think you can fit this contraption of your's up stairs? I wouldn't want to run around on a roof without some cover."

He thought for a moment, sizing up the size of the mecha. It was a large building; this wouldn't be the place for cramped stairwells. Nevin nodded. "It might be tight, but I don't think anyone will care if I bend a few railings."
The doors looked like they had already been smashed, and Nevin started towards the first staircase he saw, off towards the right.

Shara followed Nevin's mecha close behind and a little to the left as the headed towards the stairs. "You first. There may be something up there allready, and you're metal shell there can take more abuse than me. Try not to completly wreck the stairs, and warn me if you start falling."

Nevin nodded uneasily and squeaked. He hadn't considered the strength of the stairs. But that was just him being a worrier. Truthfully, the mech wasn't extremely sturdy, and the stairs would probably be able to hold it.
He started up, first slowly, one metal leg at a time, clicking up the stairs. Some of them had to be on the wall, but he could fit.

Shara followed Nevin, backing up the stairs with the bulet held in her outstreached hand. Hoping nothing was going to follow them, she glanced up the middle of the staircase. This was going to be a long walk...

The Cat Lady reemerges from hiding, looks around, and realizes that something is missing. She thinks...and thinks...and thinks...then realizes that the falcon-man from yesterday is nowhere to be seen. She gets to her feet, gathering all of her kitties up in her arms, and runs back up the stairs, out of the building, and to the southeast.

Shara came down the stairs with a bullet resting in the palm of her hand. It appeared nothing had happened since they had gone up to the roof. Still, that didn't mean nothing would appear before they tried to leave, so there was no reason to relax. Not untill this was over anyway...

Nevin followed, looking around nervously and twitching at the controls. Fortunately, he didn't do anything stupid to his robot and he managed to get a grip over his emotions. He breathed deeply and clanked along behind Shara, still keeping an eye out for things jumping out from behind corners.

Glancing back at Nevin as she moved to leave the building, Shara frowned.
"I don't suppose that you have some way to make that contraption of yours an quieter. I'd rather not let the whole world know we're coming before we get there."

He shrugged. "If you wanted to put cloth around all of the joints, then I suppose that would make it quieter. Although, I think that that would leave you sadly..." He coughed and blushed. "Under-clothed. Anyway, it;s all oiled up, so I think that that would be our only option, and it's a bit time-consuming." He shrugged again. "Didn't have time to install a stealth mode on this beauty."
