Morana&&Chronicler

Morana ran as fast as she could towards the hospital without dropping the Pokemon she had on her back.

Half of the team had left on a mission this morning. Barely an hour after hey had left a bright light had flashed in their room, heralding the team's return.

Or so, Morana thought. When the light cleared Chronicler was the only one that had returned. And she was hurt, badly. Morana couldn't tell what had injured the Cherubi, but she was covered in scorch marks even though she was soaking wet. Morana also got a static shock from touching her, and since the mission was at Thunder Ridge, well, Morana guessed well enough.

The Houndour was absolutely exhausted by the time she reached the front doors of the hospital. Gasping for breath, she pushed the door open, stumbling in.

She's never been to the hospital before, and she looked around, nervous. She padded up to the front desk where a Chansey was sitting, trying to catch her breath. Chronicler was half her size, and the Cherubi felt too heavy.

"Please...help..." was all she managed to say between her heavy panting. Morana carefully lowered the unconscious Chronicler onto the ground.

What had happened at Thunder Ridge? Why had Chronicler come back but not Incultyr and Altus? Tired and worried, Morana fought back tears. She couldn't help but fear for the worst.

Hope

A Blissey wandered out from a door behind the front desk just as Morana lowered Chronicler to the floor, and the nurse gasped at the sight of the injured Cherubi before moving into action much faster than one would expect from a pokemon her size.
"Oh dear, this looks serious!" she exclaimed, crouching down by Chronicler for a moment before scooping up the Cherubi carefully and carrying her down the hallway with the Chansey from behind the desk trotting behind. They disappeared into a room for a moment, then the Blissey poked her head through the door and motioned for Morana to follow. "You can come in if you'd like, just don't disturb her." she said, then slipped back into the room where the nurse Chansey was just finishing up settling Chronicler in a bed and starting up several machines to moniter the Cherubi's vital signs.

Czar---------------Molly

Hearing a voice, Czar looked around, he spotted Zaru, lounging on a near by wall, hearing his question he replied. "No, not really." That's when something clicked in his head, He needed some answers, about himself, and everything that's going on in the land. "Well, not here at least, I'm looking for answers, about myself."

Molly walked around the Hospital, still lost as usual, she stopped in her tracks as she heard clicking sounds, in that moment, she realized something, that sound she heard, it reminded her of her hobby. Wait. . . is that, Automail?Molly began to run around the hospital; keeping track of the clicking sound and where it came from.

Zaru

Zaru regarded the Charmander thoughtfully as the lizard spoke, then shrugged slightly as he glanced around the plain white hallway. "Well, you're probably not gonna find any in a place like this. Seems all this place is good for is making people emotional." he said matter-of-factly. Honestly, with all the revelations, crazy injuries, and depressingly-serious conversations in these rooms, he was amazed that they didn't just paint the whole place black to suit the mood. But then again, that might not be the best image for a hospital, so...

Czar

Looking around the area, he would have to agree, hospitals to tend to make even the toughest guys around emotional: deaths, diseases, unexpected pregnancy, you name it, all in all, it's a place where your emotions over take you. "Yeah, I guess." not going anywhere with the conversation he'll need to start asking questions, "Um. . . Hey, if it's no trouble, can I ask you something?"

Zaru

Drifting back into his own thoughts, it took a moment for Zaru to realize that the Charmander had started talking; he really needed to stop brooding so much, what if that happened during a fight or something? Ugh.
The Infernape frowned a little at the question, but since he was feeling so unusual today already he might as well keep going. "Shoot." he said simply, shifting to a slightly more comfortable position against the wall.

"Well. . . It's a start, what should I ask about? Hmm. . . ". . . You guys travel the world right? well, have you heard of cases or theories that Humans who died for the sake of others are reborn into pokemon?" Czar asked Zaru, in order to get more information, he needs to know: is he the first Human; besides Rita and Molly, to become a Pokemon after death, but knowing everyone he'll get a non-straightforward answer.

Altus&&Incultyr&&Morana&&Chronicler

Morana hurried into the room, anxious and slightly afraid. She really didn't know Chronicler that well; the Cherubi had latched onto their team despite their protests only about two weeks ago. But still, she had helped on numerous occasions, especially on their last mission into mystic Woods.

And as one of the leaders of Team Polaris, she felt responsible. And it terrified her, the thought that someone might die because of the team she had decided to create.

Morana sat in the corner of the room as the Chansey set up equipment that the houndour could barely understand. Her family lived in the countryside, where they could hunt what they needed to eat without the limitations of social conventions (no need to worry about eating the neighbor's uncles or something), so she's quite intimidated by technology.

A little while later, as Morana was curled up in the corner of the room, nodding off to sleep, her ears perked up at familiar voices.

"-runt of a Cherubi, purple and yellow- you've seen her? Which room?"

Morana pushed herself to her feet as Incultyr and Altus walked into the room. A surge of relief washed through her, and she felt an overwhelming urge to run over to the two of them, and lick them all over, tails wagging. Of course she didn't though, she was damned shy enough to even do anything sociable that was sensible. She did allow herself a tired grin and a slow swish of her little tail.

"Hey there Morana. Sorry about sending Chronicler back on her own, but the client was being a p***k, so we decided to finish the mission before we came back." The Larvitar looked over at the bed that Chronicler was on.

"How is she?" Altus asked, following Incultyr's gaze. he glanced around the rest of the room quickly, trying not to stare at the other patients. Like Morana, Altus had spent most of his life out in the wilderness. His former exploration tam had been dedicated to helping "wild" Pokemon after all. Being in a hospital felt weird.

"I'm not entirely sure...I...um...I've been too scared to ask." Morana seemed to get smaller as she said this. She felt pathetic, admitting the truth.

Sighing, Incultyr walked over to the Chansey that had brought Chronicler in, and asked her about the Cherubi's condition. He came back soon after, Morana and Altus waiting expectantly.

"She's stable. They can't guarantee anything, but they think she'll probably survive. Even as a grass type and electric attacks, she did get ganged up on by an entire herd of Pokemon."

Altus and Incultyr made themselves comfortable and they explained to Morana what had happened during their mission-gone-wrong. It would have been comical if not for the fact the Cherubi was possibly dying.

"How are we going to pay for this?" Altus suddenly asked, concerned. The team didn't have much funds on them at the time, and their shop wasn't doing well.

"I think the Guild will pay for it, since she was injured on a Mission. Incultyr replied, but shrugged to let them know he wasn't entirely sure.

"Arceus dammit Chronicler. You better pull through this, because I've got several things to tell you and most of them aren't nice." he growled to himself, frustration showing in his voice.

Despite his rough uncaring attitude, it seems he really was concerned.

Zaru

Zaru frowned again as he mulled over the Charmander's question, staring thoughtfully into space for a minute before shrugging. "Can't say I have, what little we do hear about humans is usually pretty negative. But I don't make a habit of going out of my way to listen to stories, so I'm probably not the best person to ask." he said, glancing back at the Charmander briefly. He'd never been terribly fond of humans after a rather unpleasant run-in with them when he was younger, and could care less about finding out more about them. Good humans, bad humans... not much of a difference in his opinion. But the fact that this kid cared was enough to make him at least a little bit curious. "Why? Did someone tell you a story like that?"

"I see. . ."
Czar head the Merc's answer, his heart sank a little when he heard that humans had a negative reputation to pokemon, when he was asked a question he answered, "Sort of, well yeah, he told me that he died in order to protect his friends, he met an untimely end and was reborn into a Pokemon."
Czar told Zaru his life story; twisting it a little to make it someone else.
"He couldn't remember anything else except his trade skill, and his personality, however he told me that whenever he touches an object that relates to his past he acquires some of his memories back, at first I thought it was a crazy story, but. . . Some how I inclined to believe him, and even though humans are hated, I still respect him; despite the fact that he's a human, I even saw proof; he can't be caught by pokeballs, but can't evolve through Crystal chambers, mostly it's because they have different DNA strands; some human traces can be found within the body of the pokemon, however I still think that he shouldn't be trusted, what do you think?"

Lloyd---Xavier---Jasper---Claire
"Second? Who was the first?" Xavier asked, sitting down in front of the Weavile, tired from his little run around the hospital.

Noting Vito leave, Lloyd was quick to follow, but branched off down a different area of the hospital.
He stood before a steel door for a second before stepping in.
Almost instantly a growl welcomed him.
"Alright, pal. Knock it off."
The Raichu before him was strapped down to the table by mutliple black bands and bore a muzzle over his mouth to keep those teeth from snapping.
However that feral expression had left his eye and he seemed to be thinking clearly once more.
The growl? Well, he didnt like Lloyd.
"Vito is going to have my a** for a handbag for this, but...let me tell you something. We've been developing a cure for this sickness, however the prototype isnt perfected. Theres something missing however, but the protype does keep you from going insane. 'Fraid it doesnt stop that nasty bleeding side effect, or the nausea, but at least you'll have your sanity for the time being. Down side is this...it will only last for a month before your body builds up an immunity to it. The second it does, you'll probably go feral instantly. So...what do you say?"
The Weavile waved the syringe he had snuck in before the electric rat's muzzled face.
Jasper narrowed that one eye, but gave the slightest hint of a nod, far too tied down for anything else.
"Excellent!" Came Lloyd's reply before he stuck the Raichu in the neck before he could change his mind.

Claire sat down as well, throwing her arms around Felix's neck to bury her face in the Persian's fur.
"Lets go explore this place later, babe! Sounds like its a blast from the past!"

Felix & Lucy

Lucy gave a smirk.
"Can't tell~ They asked me to keep it a secret," She explained.
She'd be damned if she broke a promise.
Felix purred and licked the side of Claire's face.
"Anything you want, girl~" He chuckled.

The Umbreon 'Awwwwed' and pouted, hoping the cuteness would win Lucy over, but it never worked in his favor.

"So, where you guys staying?"
"At the Sun guild, Lloyd says Leon should be fine to go once he has woken up and I need to discuss something with Solaris."
Claire blinked in surprise at the voice and turned, raising her claws defensively, but...the Raichu standing just behind Lucy didnt look feral right now.
Tired, yes. Kinda sick looking too, but not insane.
"Your-"
Jasper stepped past her, whispering something before stepping into the Lucario's room to check on him.
The female Weavile glared behind Felix where she saw Lloyd standing, the male grinned in reply before walking off.

Felix & Lucy & Leon

Lucy wouldn't fall for that old trick.
"Sorry, can't tell you," She repeated.
Plus, if she told Xavier, the Umbreon would probably go apeshit.
Felix kept his eye on the Raichu as he left.
"I don't know about him... Seems sketchy..." He muttered.
Leon, meanwhile, was lying awake in his room, still strapped in.
He didn't look at Jasper when he came in.
"It's funny... I could teleport right out of these straps, and yet I don't..." He said.
He looked over at Jasper.
"Am I insane?" He asked.

Xavier---Jasper---Claire
Xavier nodded solemnly. Ah well, he'd find out eventually. The Umbreon glanced to Claire and Felix at their expressions and trotted to the red Weavile in concern.
"But...its Jazzy. Hes not-" Seeing Xavier she quickly smiled. "Hes not as fun as he use to be."
"You said it!" The Umbreon replied and Claire pet him on the head, eyeing Felix with a warning.
Not in front of X. The kid had enough issues right now.

"You're probably the least insane among us, bro." The last word slipped out before he could stop himself.
It had been a long time since he called the Lucario that, not since the old guild.
He kept his face straight however, pretending he didnt even realize he said it and unclipped the straps with a flick of his paw.
"Lets get the hell out of here."
