Lisa set down her unfinished piece of pizza and pulled another napkin out of the dispenser. She cleaned her hands with it and set it on the table beside the oiled paper. She then disappeared "under" the table. Shortly later she appeared again holding a small paper booklet in her hand. "This is the entire schedule of convention events." She announced opening it past a few pages of rules and reminders. She opened to the first page, Friday July 2nd. "Well the Opening Ceremonies begin at 10:00 am, and they go to 11:00 am. What are some of the things that you're interested in at this convention? Are there any of the bands that you want to see? What about photo gatherings? How about autograph signings?" Lisa asked. "We should get a game plan lined out for tomorrow for sure. There is a concert I would like to go to tomorrow night, it goes kind of late, but before that there is a ballroom dance. That could also be fun. The later concert is kind of a rave party, so that could be fun too. What do you think? What would you like to do tomorrow? It looks like there is also an earlier concert with another band." Lisa announced pulling out a high lighter and picking up her pizza once more.

"I fear I am not much of a dancer." Dan said with a chuckle. "I know you do though so maybe we can get in a little practice tonight so I don't make both of us look silly tomorrow. I fear I don't really know about the people that play in any of the series and I haven't had time to understand who makes what series. It was a lot to take in a short period of time."
Dan smiled now at the thought of Lisa trying to help him dance. Holding her in his arms as he accidentally stepped on her feet. Okay so that was not a very good scene but it was a good opportunity to show here how he really cared. "So I think I will just follow you around for the most part. We can see what kind of stuff is coming out and what kind of things we can buy in between all this other fun stuff you have on your list."

Lisa smiled, "But where would we practice our dance Dan?" Lisa asked with a soft laugh. "I mean it's pretty simple, and as long as you move together then it should be fun. Maybe also while we're doing that, if we decide to practice, we can make a game plan for what we do tomorrow, or would you like me to plan out our day. How do you feel about this? If you don't want to go to the ballroom dancing I understand, maybe it's a goal for next year. I would hate to take you along somewhere that you'd not want to be." Lisa asked and took another bite of her pizza.
Something about the way Dan said he would be following her around suddenly made her nervous. "Well then I hope that I can choose things for us to do that you would enjoy." She said looking down at the pizza. "Please, if you get bored at anything that we do let me know and we can do to something different." Lisa said looking up at Dan, still looking slightly worried.

"Where can we practice? We can practice anywhere when there is music in your heart. To avoid embarrassing you I might suggest one of our rooms or the hallway to our hotel though." Dan said with a playful shrug as he picked up his second pizza and bit into it as well. "As for tomorrow I wouldn't worry about taking me to anything I didn't want to go to. The main reason I came is to share this new experience with a dear friend."

Lisa wished to hug Dan. He was just such a sweet and kind spirited kind of person. "Maybe, either would be fine." She said kindly. "It would be fun to try and dance with you. I have my laptop back in the room, maybe we can find some music on there and some instructional videos. I doubt I would be a good leader, or teacher, so maybe we can start there. If you want to that is. If you don't want to learn to dance I completely understand." She said smiling at him and taking another bite of her first piece.

"That sounds like a lot of fun." Dan said as he finished his second slice of pizza. "That is if you don't mind me coming into your room that would be fun I can imagine. I don't want to be pushy or make you nervous." He took some napkins and and wiped his hands with it leaving some grease on it.

Lisa finished her piece of pizza and sat for a moment, thinking. "Well, I think each room should have rules, if the time comes and one wants the other to return to their room then they will do so kindly and without question. There will be no funny business, not that I expected there to be any. No locked doors. Well, you know me well enough Dan, and I know that you respect me and would never do anything to upset me." She said looking him directly in the eyes. She was here with him, that was enough to make her nervous, but she felt that if he would be coming into her room she had to put on the pants and be the boss for at least a few minutes.

"Yes mam." Dan said continuing to smile and looking Lisa back into her eyes. Those same hazel eyes he knew first. "I understand completely and accept your terms and conditions and I am glad to hear you understand I wouldn't do anything without your permission. After all you are a special friend to me and I would never want to do anything to upset you."

Lisa blushed once she realized how bossy she sounded, but with the determination in his voice, and the way in which he stared back at her unflinchingly led her to believe that it would really be okay. She smiled, returning to be her normal self once more. She sat back in her chair and relaxed some. "I am glad that you accepted my terms and conditions." She said, the blush burning her cheeks. "I think we will be fine." She looked back up at him almost shyly.
She knew she was taking a big leap here, letting a boy into her room. She had a feeling it would be alright though. "Wow." Lisa said, lifting her arms up over her head, fingers folded to her palms so she wouldn't get a greasy mess all over everything. She let out a big sigh, a sign she had been under pressure. "Well then, do you have a preferred time to head out?" Lisa asked, meaning when should they leave the restaurant.

Dan noticed Lisa relax and blush. He knew how to be a perfect gentleman when he wanted to do so. She reminded him of himself in the aspect that their parents both tried to protect them from the evils of the world as best they could while pushing good moral reasons upon their upbringings.
"Anytime you are ready I look forward to trying to dance with you even if it might take a little bit of time to become more graceful." Dan said as he reached for the spatula once more and took another slice of pizza. "If you like we can get something to put our pizza slices in and save them for later.

Lisa nodded, her eyes starred at the pizza almost unseeingly as she took another small bite of her piece. She though of the two of them dancing, twirling in graceful circles. They steps were not that hard, and she had a feeling Dan would do better than he thought if he had a positive attitude, and if she could find the right information to help teach him. She smiled, wishing, for once in her life, that her gym teacher was there with them so that she could teach the of them to dance. Lisa knew how, but her steps were rusty.
She blinked, seeming now to come out of her trance. "Well, let's finish eating the pizza we are hungry for." Lisa said not knowing how hungry Dan still was. She was already starting to feel a little bulge in her stomach where the pizza now lay happily and warmly in there. The pizza cuts were pretty big, she probably would finish this one and then stop. "And then afterwords we can go and try to dance together, how does that sound?" Lisa asked blinking again and looking at Dan across the table from her.

"Sounds like a good plan. I'll save my last piece for later then. I wouldn't want to be to full when I get to the dancing. A full tummy probably wouldn't help me being very graceful." Dan said warmly as he began eating his third slice. He too was thinking about how he would hold Lisa like in one of those old movies he had seen when he was younger. Even if he knew it would be a little clumsy at first with practice he was sure he would get better.

Lisa blushed and continued to eat her last piece of pizza. Her thoughts were lost within the lulling tone of music and the swish of her skirts as she spun in circles wrapped in Dan's arms. Was this dangerous? Was it a gamble stepping forward and letting him take her in his arms. The boy was the leader. She finished her piece of pizza and sealed it with a long draw on her straw. The drink was good, nice and cold and refreshing as it slid down her throat. Once she was done with it she reached into her backpack and pulled out her purse and removed half of the cost of the pizza and the drink. She also pulled out some money for the tip. Setting the money out on the table she folded her hands beneath her chin and smiled, trying very hard not to stare at Dan as he finished eating.

Dan looked at Lisa as well as he was finishing his piece. He didn't seem self conscious at all that she was watching him eat his folded pizza. He smiled at her as he put the last piece in his mouth. He could easily have took bigger bites but he figured Lisa didn't want to see how fast he could really eat. He finally finished his own slice and reached into his pocket to pull his own wallet out. "So what are the damages?"

"It's not really all that bad." Lisa said thoughtfully. "In the end the check came to $10.50, that is including the proper tips too." Lisa said smiling, "So we each pay half of that, $5.25, is that alright with you?" She asked lifting her drink again to her lips and taking another drink. "I think it's a fairly good deal, we still have pizza left after all. "Then once of us can go pay the check and get a take home box to put the rest of the pizza in so that we can have it later." Her tone was cheerful because she was cheerful despite the conflicting voices in her head. It would all be alright. "Would you like me to go pay for it?" Lisa asked as she placed the white receipt on top of her monry and change.
