Skidding into the kitchen, Freya let out a sharp bark before falling over and rolling her way towards the table. She sat up and wobbled around on her paws, trying to get her barings on her environment to see if her mate had joined her yet.
Lucian, who had been hiding from all the excitement of the past couple days, lay on the table and stared at Freya as she slid in. He chuckled to himself and shook his head. He had always liked Freya and from what he say of Hana and Dice, they seemed alright by his standards. He laid his head on his paws, content with just watching the events.

Dice ran in, forgetting he was on tile, making his slide, "Fwaaaaaaah!" he spun into the the wall under the table Lucian lay on. "-oof! Darn you floor!" He hollered through spurts of laughter. He bounced up, not noticing Lucian's presence, and ran up to Freya, licking her nose. "You cheated!" He laughed, licking her again.

"Ah ha, now my love you know what it's like!" Freya laughed and rubbed her nose against his. She pranced around the kitchen wagging her tail and holding her head high in the air. With the room completely to themselves, she could be a little more open and hyper as she had on the back porch. "Well oh master of plans, shall we get out ice cream before any of humans pop in here?"

Dice smiled and nodded. "O'course! Just climb on my shoulders and jump up on the freezer." He stated casually, continuing, "When will we tell Kurai that we're mates... much less that we're having a litter of puppies at anytime?" He asked this while positioning himself correctly to help Freya get up high.

Freya sighed and climbed onto Dice's shoulders and managed to pull herself on top of the fridge. She pawed at the the door to get it open for Dice to get the ice cream.
"Well, I've decided to never tell Kurai...she just, won't understand. She'd look at me as if I were dead to her if I ever said we were together and that we're starting a family. She wouldn't understand... My father Lucian would understand. He's nicer than Kurai will ever be. When are you going to tell Sherbert?"
She managed to get the door open and smirked happily
Lucian listened to the two youths talking and shook his head. He almost laughed but chose not too, seeing that they thought they were totally alone. Though he loved his wife dearly, he knew that she had an ugly side she unleashed every now and then. She'd be happy to hear that she was going to be a grandma but she wouldn't be happy to hear that the pups were from Dice as well....

"I'm not sure. I think I'll just tell her. I guess I understand why you won't tell Kurai, but don't you think she'll be suspicious when little us's go running around?" He asked, mentally licking his chops, desperatly wanting some ice cream happy good feelings. He slowly let Freya down, catching a glimpse of Lucian. He whispered to Freya, not knowing who Lucian was, "Whose that on the table?"

"Well, I'm just glad Sherbert is understanding at least." Freya jumped down from Dice's back and glanced at him as he asked his question.
"What are you talking about, we're alon-"
Glancing toward the table, Freya spotted Lucian listening with open ears and an intriging look entering his bright eyes.
"Father?" She gasped, her ears flattening against the head in embarassment.
Lucian rose from his position on the table and jumped down. He approached Dice and Freya and nodded at the two of them. He still was amazed that Freya, for the most part, still called him Father or Papa when she didn't call him by his name. She never called Kurai Mother but than again, it was always hard to call Kurai anything that was supposed to have a nurturing role.
"Don't worry, I didn't hear a thing." Lucian turned to look at Dice and bowed respectively at the moonlit. "All I have to say to you though is take care of her and the family that may come in the future. They're the most important things that can happen to you. Oh yeah, Freya, don't get into too much trouble today. I don't think I can deal with another outburst from her!"

Dice's eyes widened. "Father? You're kidding... right?" he got one look from Lucian and one look from Freya and he knew this wasn't a joke. As Lucian spoke Dice took in everyword. He smiled at him, returned the bowing gesture, "Need not worry, sir. Freya's way too sweet and perfect for me to lose her and I'm sure the pups will be too." he winked at Freya, wagging his tail slightly. Dice chuckled at Lucian's finishing statement. He glanced to Freya awaiting her answer, already comfortable with this moonlit. Which was very odd in the awkward situation.

((I'll be at the movies later today so I'll post again when I get back ^^ ))
"No, I'm not kidding at all...surprisingly, this is Kurai's mate." Freya smiled at him as he bowed at Dice respectively. "Oh stop being so dramtic and get up. I don't plan on getting in much trouble today so don't worry. It just won't involve Kurai and the other adults in the house...for the moment."
Freya laughed and winked at Dice. She licked her mate and then glanced around the kitchen at all of the high places she could get to and jump off of.
"Well then I'm happy to know they'll be taken care of." He glanced at Freya and walked over to her and smacked her nose with his paw. "I fear this house is in trouble with the two of you roaming around freely now."
Lucian laughed and started off towards the kitchen door. Glancing over his shoulder at the two of them. He was proud of them though, he'd never tell them aloud or tell his mate. He only hoped that they'd be able to understand her in time.

Dice laughed licking Freya back and just wanting to bounce around. Someone finally knew about their expectancy. He was just so excited and proud of Freya, that he wanted to tell the world but thought better of it. But, at least 'father' knew.
Having watched Lucian leave, Dice turned to Freya. "Now, about that Ice cream!" He exclaimed, attempting to steal the carton from Freya.

"Yes, my ice cream!" Freya yelped and jumped away from Dice, grabbing the carton of ice cream which had been lying by her paws forgotten while they spoke to Lucian. She pranced around the room with it in her mouth and then dropped it. She plopped her body on the ice cream and smirked at him. "I claim this ice cream as- OW!! It's cold!" She yelped and hopped off of the carton and began to race around the room

Dice would've fallen over at Freya's response to the ice cream's temperature, but he wanted the ice cream. He dove at it, snatching it up with his mouth, and jumped on the island, which only had room for him. "It's MINE now!" He laughed.

Freya skidded to a halt and silenced her whining to look up at Dice sitting on the kitchen island with the ice cream. She growled and turned to the table where Lucian had been sitting earlier and managed to pull herself up. She stared at him and smirked devilishly.
"This is war my dear!" She cried, looking for some way to reach him.

Dice laughed and clawed open the carton of ice cream. "Now, while you find your way over here," he stuck his paw in teasingly, "I'm going to eat ice cream." He pulled out his paw, smothered in ice cream and slowly licked it off. "Mmm." He winked at her.
