Wolf watches where the figure was last standing. He thinks about the food the others are talking about as he watches. He takes some steps away from the others a bit and slightly glances to them,. Trying not to make a kill joy out of himself as theo and the others enjoy meeting the new people. He wants to talk but seems to feel that he is better of just shutting up since the others are having a good time right now.

Joining the group as they move, Alex scans the area while walking alongside the others. As the entire area has an aura, scanning with his Second Sight would be more of a detriment than assistance. It seemed to have calmed down for the time being as they headed for the cellar.

"Theo is right Alex, I have spent every day since that night trying to work out the ramifications of what we have done..." Runes brow furrowed a little as deep thoughts moved through her mind and her eyes seem to glaze and darken.
"Still all I have learned is that by and large the garden can give pretty much anyone in it what they want or like or even need..." She brightened a little, "We even found a beach once..." It was so long ago, so many had come and gone, so much had happened, joy and grief the pain of time...
She tried to remain jovial in front of her guests, but her sadness must reflect through her eyes, still she was here and now and new and old friends were by here side.
"Aramis, I have a thought on your ship if you would like to stay and we could find enough fuel"

The turtle lifts its head as it gets out of its moody self and answer people's questions. "The location we're heading to will contain a cellar. Enough to fuel the men here at least." It lifts its right arm, pointing the direction in which people should travel, in the opposite direction of the dark pond. It then lowers its arm as it continue to explain some things on the garden's behalf. "I apologize for the inconvenience though. The amount of whisky we have now only account for current residents, newly joined members, and some extra for unexpected guests. It is brewing up more whisky at the moment, but just enough in case our men have bigger appetite than usual. I will ask for it to start on a few more batches for the ship, but it won't be ready by the end of the day."
The turtle faces Aramis as he mention about sleeping quarters. "The ship is like a home after all, and it's understandable for you wanting to guard it at all times. I'll have the garden provide some building material for fixing the ship over there," she directs her turtle nubbly arm at an empty corner of the area and then bring it back down. "I assume you got mechanics and tools for fixing the ship, right? ...Ah, sorry. Now I am being rude by asking that question. Forgetting what I just said, how urgent is it for you to head toward your next destination? So much is going on at the same time, it's easy for me to forget some details."
A small group of birds gather around the turtle (and Theo since the turtle is still hitching a ride on Theo's chair). The turtle moves its head to face each and every one of them, making snapping noises, while the birds chirps in return. After a while, couple of the birds flew away to get the preparations going, while a few stay behind in case they were to receive new orders. To break the tension in the group, the turtle tries to lighten the conversation with a off-hand. "Ahaha. The garden is like its own creature itself."

Something strange bubbled inside of him when he heard Rune's words. The garden was able to provide what one wanted or needed? What did this mean? Did this garden have its own consciousness? A will of some sort? A sense of morality with which it weighed the wants or needs of the individual? Because if this was the case, the garden might be fare more receptive to his desires than his gods had ever been.
His brain began to churn. He had to keep himself from grinning, what with all the marvelous vices he could wish for and have materialize before his eyes. Oh, rivers and rivers of beer, endless, stretching fields of glorious red poppies swaying in the breeze! An endless supply of booze and opium! And oh, the magnificent splendor in which he'd spend his days, surrounded by gloriously tanned servants in the prime of life. If only he were so lucky!
He sucked in a sharp breath, regaining his senses. What was that? Who was speaking? Oh, Yen. Yes. The ship. The ship! "Oh, Madir is a fine mechanic," he confirmed. "Jaka and Zufyat, too. They will be able to repair what damage we've suffered, I'm sure. My ship is old, and I'm hardly concerned with her aesthetic value at this point in her lifetime."
He paused, crossing his arms over his chest before continuing: "My cargo was supposed to arrive at Sanodacci yesterday," he admitted. "I had planned to beg forgiveness, but at this point in time, any hope of that happening is now long gone. I suppose it would be best to simply use what we have in storage and say we were pirated of our goods upon arrival."

"Well, sounds like have a contingency for this. And it seems you no longer have a time constraint." He giggled a bit, walking with the group.

Rune smiles at the captain. She thinks maybe if she can find that place with the floating rocks maybe they could get some and use string, then again that may not work to move the ship.
She just wanted to press forward to the place that they could party so she trotted along beside Yen... she could not resist however and before she knew fully that she was speaking "Are we there yet?" had left her brain and her mouth and aimed itself at Yen. She grinned a broad and cheeky grin.

He hardly minded the walk.
The day was lovely, and there was a symphony of smells that he could pick out individually being carried about in the breeze: various flowers, the scent of pine and grass and the unmistakably sweet smell of clear, fresh air. A crispness that was lacking in a more crowded metropolis like Kalliomar or Sanodacci, their air tainted with the scent of salt and human sweat and smoke from cooking fires. Though he enjoyed the bustle of city living, experiencing it at all times could get exhausting. He was very happy to be in a place so wide open and inviting.
Though something about the openness made him feel ill at ease, he had to admit. Perhaps he had grown so used to looking up for landmarks that the lack of tall buildings made him anxious.
"I might have to look for another line of work, yes," he says, finally answering Alex. It was just as well. He might make a half-decent fisherman, if only he could get his hands on nets. And bait. And pots. And all sorts of other necessities.
Pah. Best to stick to the drug trade.

Wandering down the endless field, he thought about everyone's combat styles out of curiosity. "Hey, Aramis, what kinds of weapons do you favor over your travels?" The types of weapons a person uses are partially an extension of the person's personality. Sword wielders have creativity and skill at close range, while a ranger fighter might possess more focus, but might not be as skilled at close combat. Some actually use a mix of weapons, possessing a balance that serves them well, as well as others.

"That's good to hear. Having several mechanics in hand is necessary for a ship this size." Yen is now walking alongside everyone else, sporting as a young woman of short red hair and large green eyes rather than a turtle. She shape-shifted just before she start leading the way to the cellar. "I guess using pirates as an excuse is the best way to go about it. If one were to meet a group of pirates who dealt great damage to the ship, then it would be logical for one to be few days behind the expected date."
"Eh? Oh. No, not yet. We still got ways to go." Yen replied to Rune with a thoughtful smile. "Hehe." She tilts her head to a side, shoulders up a bit, and hands behind her back, a cute posture as she walks. "Honestly, since when have you become so impatient, Rune?" She asks the question in a playful/teasing sort of way.

Aramis scratched his eyebrow as he pondered Alex's question. He was never fond of guns. Not that he couldn't admire excellent marksmanship when he saw it, or that he thought the gun a particularly cowardly weapon, because he didn't. Guns were the modern version of longbows and crossbows: high powered projectile weaponry. Evolve with the times or get left behind in the dark ages. The truth of the matter was that he simply preferred swords. He liked the weight of it. He liked the craftsmanship. He liked the immediate control. He liked being close to his opponent. So that's how he answered, albeit in simpler terms.
"Swords," he said. "I prefer swords. Even if the man before me has a gun." Sure, there were cannons and what have you on his ship, but one hardly lugged a cannon around with them as he took shore leave, didn't he?
Aramis squinted at Yen. The way she changed was somewhat unnerving. He wondered what sort of magic involved being able to change one's shape so effortlessly. Or, failing magic, what sort of amazing physiological changes were happening in the very core of her cells, what DNA sequences were being switched on and off to have such a thing happen. He was fascinated. And a little bit scared.
"Even with pirates as an excuse," he said to Yen, "My clients wouldn't be too happy. I should know how to better protect myself. They have people relying on their timely deliveries. If I can't keep up, I might as well not be in the game, as it were."
He could do that. He could leave the game, shipment intact. Sell it off to the highest bidder and use that money to start some other endeavor. Maybe he could go into the private security business.

Ah, a fellow sword fan. This was quite the eventful afternoon. "Sword are such amazing works that continue to stand the test of time. Even kitchen knives have a similar design adapted for another use. Katana and knightswords are two of my favorite designs of blade." Even when he traveled to Xenix, his expertise was close ranged weapons. He had always had trouble aiming, but up close, his weapon was an extension of his arm. It was a part of him as he fought.

The Trolls ears wiggles and she looked at Yen grinning "Since my tummy sounds like thunder..." She poked out her tongue a little. It had been to long that the garden had been stuffy, far too long since some celebrating was done. Rune enjoyed tending the carrots and such by herself, it gave her quietus and vital time to reflect, however to much alone time was boring in Runes opinion, Trolls were social creatures after all.
"Plus Yen all work and no play..." Rune twiddled a finger near her head indicating madness and her ears also twitched and danced to echo her fingers motion.
Rune turned to Aramis "I suppose you will be in trouble either way... I hope your clients are not unjust people" She was a little worried for the Captain and his crew as the more he spoke of his lands the more convinced she was of the fact that they were not of Gaia and indeed had somehow appeared from one of the portals. She couldn't be sure but things like this did happen. It was a good job the enchantments were strong otherwise who knows what could happen.
Deciding to shelve her concern for the time being she opted to respond to Alex "I much prefer a bow or a good hunting knife!"
