1. wear band related clothing.
2. have 2 folders for music, 1 for concert, 1 for personal music
3. you can name every instrument ever.
4. you know that french horn is not french, english horn is not english nor a horn and superbones are not a myth, but a valved slided trombone.

you know your a bandgeek when.......
you get kicked out of class for practing your fingerings on your pencil to mimerize your music
you know your a bandgeek when.......
you have all the music you've ever played on a CD and blast it in your car
you know your a bandgeek when.......
you go to sleep on the bus ride to band camp, wake up and think your dead and in heaven
you know your a bandgeek when.......
your room is decked out in old reeds, mouthpices, interments and pic's of your band
you know your a bandgeek when.......
all you eat are romin noodles, orange juice, purified water, and a multi vitemin (me and my best friend lasted a mouth and a half on just that)

When you have a cd of band music from four years ago and you can still remember the names of the songs and who had any solos(Guilty. Especially for Lament and tribal dances, at least I think hat was the one[a point when we did two similar songs in different bands, one had a recorder solo, one did not] Our soloist was amazing!)

-When you hiccup in time with a warmup.(Woodwinds were going to tune, the brass were doing lip slurs with dr.beat. i got the hiccups and it came right on the beat. My friend walking next to me gave me a funny look because she noticed i was in time too.)
-When you take a second band class to get out of another half a year of pe(I got my one pe credit I needed last year, since marching band doesn't count as a pe crdit. I was supposed to have pe second semester this year because we arre required to have health, a semester class, which I had last smeester. So, I'm taking a second band)

This is how I'm a band nerd.
I was asleep today (Saturday) until 9:30. My dad sat on my bed and said "It's 9:30. You need to wake up." I just turned on my side. Then, he said, "You're going to be late for band." I jerked up and looked around the room, then I realized it was Saturday and I fell back down and went to sleep.
THAT'S how much of a band nerd I am... LOL You're a band nerd if you do that.
