The commander folded his arms over his chest. They were being followed after all. It had crossed his mind a few times during their journey here but he was too preoccupied with their current situation to do anything about it.
He hadn't seen Mitsuoki like the others, instead, in the distance he saw the flash of a white kimono heading towards Seireitei it seemed. Another new one. Unfortunately, it was dark now and they needed to rest up for tomorrow. It was going to be a long day tomorrow, he hoped he could talk to his lieutenant about what they were going to do next but she had disappeared it seemed.

Mitsuoki would have spoken had he not known she was preoccupied with something, he looked around and then down. Shoes? Well, it was polite to take shoes off before entering a home but, this house was empty.
"Well, I'd like to say your life, but you're worth too much to me at the moment." He bowed down to pick up the shoes in a theatrical manner before offering them, "No, it's not what you can do for me, but what you can do for yourself." With that he strode in a placed the shoes before her.
At that moment he tapped he cupped her right cheek in his left hand, "You have nice eyes." And promptly swept away, "You are a hatchling." A flash of a smile, "I should really take you to the commander, but you see, I really can't be bothered. Why don't you rest here tonight?" Mitsuoki gestured to a rolled up futon and blanket in the corner. She'd need food for the morning as well, but he was going to let her find that out herself.

Tsuriai looked at her shoes as Mitsuoki retrieved her shoes and put them in front of her. She was grateful to the man, but not feeling so when he touched her cheek.
That just unnerved her. Personal contact wasn't something she was big on. Especially on or near her face. She was about to bat his hand away when he removed it himself.
Mitsuoki then mentioned resting. Tsuriai looked to the futon and blanket in the corner, then back to him. "I don't need it. You're welcome to use it." she said, putting her shoes down near a wall. She took a cushion and placed it next to her shoes and sat down on it. She had fallen asleep sitting up before so she was used to it.

Roselily was fascinated by the man who came out of the building. He was handsome, but he reminded her of a wolf, stalking its prey. She knew that the girl that had come out was his prey. She watched him vanish, but she knew where he was going, and what he was after:the girl. Quellu came up behind her and asked, " Roselily, would you like a hand?", as she gestured to the wall they were near. She turned to the young shinigami and said,"We need to help her. That man may kill her. Do you know who he is?" As she was saying those words, she was heading toward the alley the girl disappeared, getting her staff ready.

Mitsuoki looked back with a smile on his face, this smile was more sweet but he walked away out of the door. The night was pretty much his haven, he enjoyed the peacefulness yet he also enjoyed the sadistic nature of nocturnal predators.
He disappeared into the moonlight only the flash of his white hair and subsequent screams from tortured guards let anyone know he was still there.

Quellu shook her head, "Not as well as I should, he's a part of the 7th seat's team." Though she placed her hand on the girls shoulder, "He is a Shinigami, he won't kill her." The blue haired girl said this with some confidence, after all it was rare for one shinigami to kill another except Captains...they tended to be Captains.
"Anyway, that girl is a Konpaku, she's already dead."

Tsuriai watched Mitsuoki leave into the night. She looked from the doorway to the futon. She sighed and got up, spreading it out on the floor. It had been forever since she actually laid down in a bed.
Once it was all set out, she moved her shoes over and laid down under the blanket. Such comfort was almost luxurious, making her smile some and sigh. It didn't take her long before she was sound asleep.

The moon hung in the air, he'd been looking for people almost none-stop, he had traversed what seemed like miles, his feet ached, at which point he stumbled into an alleyway. The day almost felt as though he had gone on forever.
Slumping against a wall he slid down, he didn't recognize this place, it seemed almost as if he'd been sent to hell, what had he done in his life which had been quite so bad? Coughing lightly, he placed his head against a wooden beam and slept.

Mitsuoki stepped into the middle of the village center. He'd manage to kill three bandits which had been lurking in the shadows but prey was proving hard to come by. Truth be told he hadn't really intended to kill them, but they'd kinda got in the way of his Zanpakuto. At least that was his defense.
"The moon, doth shine so bright. Thine fate lies in that which is reborn. Thus shall the moon day rise and the sun night shall fall."
It was part of a poem he had made up a long time ago, back when he loved his theater. Strangely enough, he couldn't fathom out why he'd lost interest. Glancing down a dusty road he could have sworn he saw a glint in the distance. Creasing his brow he then broke out into manic laughter. Those deaths had brought in the cavalry it seemed, "Act one; The Hero's Welcome." Another smile before he slipped down a narrow alleyway.

Tsuriai had only gone to sleep maybe half an hour to an hour ago, but her dreams were turning for the worse. Her dreams hard started out divine. The fond memories of training with her Sensei and reading with her lord in his library. Such fond memories dissolved into the worst moment in her life. When she fell for a trap. When she was murdered.
She had followed a fellow samurai out into the garden of the newly inaugurated Byodo-in temple. She couldn't remember why she had followed him, but she did remember that after some walking, she was suddenly surrounded. All the samurai just sneered at her evilly as their katanas were drawn. The last thing she ever saw was her own reflection in the blades of many katanas that pierced her lungs and heart. And she had been left there to rot under a bush of white flowers, speckled with her spilled blood. That was how her Emperor found her, blood slowly leaking into the stone pathway, dieing under the silent heavens as her lord called out for her spirit to return.
This is where she awoke. Sweating from the nightmare, she sat up and wiped the sweat from her forehead, letting her light red hair down so it cascaded down her shoulders. She looked outside to see it was still night and she sighed once more.

The assaian had found an abandon house to sleep in for the night. He had killed the beings that were living their, so he could have the place for himself. He decided that at first light he would find a disguise, find some food, and find a good place to train to be stronger, so that he could be ready just in case he had to fight men or women like the wolfed-face man with white hair. He moved some faded-feed bags and some old hay. He did a few more things, and then laided down, and went to sleep, forgetting everything for now....

Roselily ran through the ally, then out the other end, but lost sight of the girl, and the wolf-faced man. Quellu had chaught up with her. Roselily turned to her and asked," Is he like this al the time? He wears the same uniform as you do.He has an evil aura about him.... Like the Wolf Priestess Shad-Ack......." She spaced out for a sec, then shook her head , and said, " I need to find that girl and see if she is okay. The best place to start looking would be his home, or the place he is the most. Do you know where he would be at this hour?"

Yu looked over the edge of the roof, "She'll be fine, he's one of my subordinates." Yu spoke softly, "Quellu, I'd like you to take care of look out duty tonight, I'll swap with you midnight. Young lady," He looked at the elf, "I'd like to talk to you." At which point he turned around and headed back into the apartment where he preceded to prepare the beds.

Yu had caught up with them and told her that the girl would be all right, because the wolf-faced man was one of his subordinates, and that he wanted to talk to her. She was hesitate, not for sure if he was speaking truthfuly about the man at first, but she looked Yu in the eyes and said," How much do you trust him?.....I will take your word for it. But I still don't trust him..." Then Roselily followed him toward the apartment ,went in with him. As he was setting up the beds,She asked him," You want to know why I am here, don't you, Yu? Why an elf, of all beings, is doing here in the realm of Sprits, and why am I real? Or is their another thing you wish to talk about?"

It seemed to him, while he straightened out the beds that the young girl had been asked many questions before but he smiled nonetheless at her attempt to get ahead of him.
"Now, Mitsuoki, I trust all of my subordinates with my life, they wouldn't be my subordinates if I didn't feel that I could trust them." Yu gestured for the elf to sit down on the bed while he began to prepare tea.
Then he decided he would assert the facts as far as he knew them, "I am well aware of the Council of Elves and the different races. I know that you are a dark elf and you use a different energy source for your strength." The commander smiled, "But I don't know why you are here, I must admit, I would like to know why you are here."
