Katarina chuckles to herself, shaking her head slightly. "That's why there isn't many of you out there then I suppose. That I've met or heard of anyway. Nice people don't seem to make it too awfully far anymore." She grumbles. "Not to sound like a pessimist." She says, giving him a half grin.

Mick nodded, "There are a lot of nice people who fail the tests, it's true. or they come out not so nice any more. There's no doubt the system has flaws, but that's why we work with it to improve it, not against and risk destroying what good it does accomplish."

Katarina nods, "I know, I agree. A lot of people die or get turned into something not good either way though it seems. Like I said, i enjoy doing what I do though. Getting in peoples heads is usually never pretty, however it can have it's perks. Just not right now.." She mutters, her temples still throbbing.

At the outpost, a chopper had landed in the lot nearby, several Keepers running to and fro, the engine on the vehicle winding down.
The doors opened on the side, and a mountain of a man stepped out of the chopper, making his way directly towards the building, leaving deep depressions in the ground.

Once inside the building, the man made his way directly to Lincoln's office, his bare feet making a rhythmic clicking noise on the floor as he walked. The man arrived at Lincoln's office, his bulk filling almost the entirety of the doorway.

This man seemed to go against almost any standing idea the Keepers had with secrecy and subtlety. He certainly didn't look as if he were any man born, looking instead of a massive statue, made of some ancient metal and brought to life. His body was covered in various markings, symbols of organizations, religions and countries served, each burned into the metal of hid body, with the Keeper's insignia burned most prominently, over his right eye. His "hair" hung just above his shoulders, although close inspection would have revealed that the growth looked like incredibly fine links of chain, making a small, musical clinking noise when he walked.

"Mister Lincoln. Pleased to meet you." The man spoke, his voice a deep, resonant rumble that was felt more than heard, "I apologize for the unfortunate circumstances of my visit. It seems that an interloper, a new arrival to this station seems determined to make our lives all the more difficult, as well as forestall the great work of our organization. I am simply here to see to it that such failures do not continue to occur... In no way have I come to take control of your facility. SImply to provide more of a real presence to those who would seek to undermine your work."

Mick chuckled, "So long as you're happy with it." He looked up as they van started to come to a halt. "Seems were back home as well. Might want to get yourself some new clothes, looks like they roughed yours up a slight bit.

Linc stood up to greet the Nephilim, staying at the desk just wasn't respectable enough for one of the council. "I didn't expect to see you come all the way here yourself, sir. But we will make you as comfortable as we can. As you've heard, St.Eva has been somewhat restless as of late. Record numbers, and all."

"Mmhm definitely. Not so much them though. Just the facade I was trying and failed to pull off..." She mutters as she opens the van door and slides out, waiting for Mick, and walking into the outpost with him.

"Who else would they send? A council member demands protection and constant watch. I am much less needy, and far more survivable. And, I am Black. Who else would see to it that each group would have their interests addressed? And so I have come, to assist you in your tasks, while also assuring that such failures as those of Arne Crane are not repeated, and his foolish habits and quirks are not passed on to our Bloomers." He said, remaining standing, "You may sit, Lincoln. You do not have a chair to support my bulk, and I would not presume to find myself so important as to destroy your furniture."

Mick slowed his steps a bit to walk with Katarina, he was fairly tall and would have outstepped her easily without that slight effort. He however paused a bit as he heard the sound of a chopper, even if the chopper was slowing down. "Sounds like we have a visitor, and something big." He said, a slight bit of concern in his voice.

Linc shrugged and took his seat. "So what is it you intend to do with Crane, if I might ask?"

Tilting her head, Katarina nods and scans around the Outpost for new thoughts. "Seems so. Think we should go in there with him and Linc?" She says as she looks up at him, tapping her head to remind him that she knew where they were and that it was a he because of their thoughts.

Mick looked a bit wary, "Who is it then? Do you know?"

"Sadly, I am likely going to have to dispose of him. He is more dangerous to us right now than any backslider... And we cannot have a Keeper in good standing being that big of a threat."

Mick looked a bit wary, "Who is it then? Do you know?"

"It's one of the council members, a black. Linc called him the Nephilim, at least in his mind he did." She says, watching Mick. "Recognize the name? I've never heard of him before."

Linc held still with only a slight nod to acknowledge what the Nephilim had said. "And when you're done with Crane?"
