At least your families some what get into it...be...I turn on music...I have to have headphones on....or mom makes me turn it off...my dad couldn't care less, then again he doesn't hear to well sweatdrop My sister scolded my mom when she bought me a Japanese cd because it was encouraging my bad behavior, and my brother kinda stares at me blankly and tells me to turn off what ever the crap I'm watching/listening to....
I've listened to Japanese music around my mom, and she does like some of it, mellow stuff though, like Gackt, I wouldn't even dare try to turn on Diru around her, she'd probably freak out on me **nods**

I havent showed anyone really any pics of Diru, but I showed my friends some of their music and pics, but I really didnt get any comments. Im sure my family would be like eek , but wouldnt care if I listened to them.

my mom thinks i worship satan but i think she has kinda given in to it.. like when i told her about being a wiccan she ignores it but than she bought me books in relation to it.. she just has given up on making me normal.. she knows ever since i was little if she told me to do something one way i'd do the other so in a way she made me like this...so the dir en grey thing is really nothing to her.. besides my mom always said "it's not the way you dress but the way you act"
alot of my firends like DEG too. and if they don't they really just don't care that i listen to it..
My bf who is like the complete oppisite of me likes DEG he's just notta huge fan but i'm slowly getting him into it...

My parents couldn't care less about what Dir en grey cd's or pv is listen to or watch. My friends however don't like them... mainly because they can't get past visual kei and they they sing in Japanese. I have narrow-minded friends.

I'm making a Diru web site project in class, so I was searching pics on the net, and a guy of my class came and asked if Kyo was a dog ...
I was like "WTF?!" XD Then he didn't trust me when I said they're all guys ... Especially Shinya ... Oh poor guy, if he only knew who's Mana =D

My parent's don't know about them. But I know they wouldn't approve. they'd be all: what? why this? Or something like that. heh. But I do have one friend that loves Dir en grey, and she got me into them. so yay. go her. I think the rest of my friends would be all 'no way' about it.

I think my mom's starting to take to them because I have her convinced that the music is slowly improving my Japanese. She even went so far as to suggest I look into going to one of their concerts.

Well around were I live its very dificult to find any J-Rock albums (specificly Diru) I was with my mom the other day at the mall and I just happendto mention that "I am looking for a band from Japan named Dir en Grey". naturaly since she dosnt know much about Japan she thinks its a Classical Japanese Music Group and she points me out to Borders. I say there not exactly "the easy listening music" u think they r......shes VERY confused at this point and is all mixed up with words like "Diru" "Diren" "Dir en Grey" "Visual Kei" and "jrock".....but im sure she would be terrifyed if she were to ever see Obscure(probably wouldnt like seeing a guy eat his own heart) or and live prefomances(cuase Kyo is a scary guy when on stage)

My parents don't have a problem with Dir en Grey. My dad saw PLC in concert with me, so he thinks that Diru is just another of those "wierd Japanese costumey drag queen bands". If only he knew what they were saying....Plus neither of my parents have seen their PVs. Though they have seen MM's "Gardenia", which was amusing to watch them watch! rofl Most of my friends "loooove" Dir en Grey, but really couldn't care less about the music, and only think: Ooooh! Totchi-chan is sooooooo kawaii!!!! I wanna sex him up!!! heart heart

I don't want to think about my mother seeing Obscure. It would ruin all the carefully crafted half-truths I've told her. She was skittish enough when she walked in on ain't afraid to die.

Well...I kinda made me family get used to it...after a year or so, I only have macabre, vulgar, gauze, and kisou on cd, and I listen to some on the computer, Luckily they dunno the words to the songs and what they really mean..otherwise I'd be killed sweatdrop Eheheheh. I lub dir en grey's music so much *bobs head*

Depending on the friend, my friends love them...but some are like...lets listen to the pokemon soundtrack!! then we argue about maturity..but whatever ^.^
My parent..nope...dont like Diru at ALL
