"The Earth country is where most of our residents are sheltered. Our complete village has been evacuated of women and children. Only our jounin and top shinobi are scouting out for another attack. Mind you, I'm still currently searching for any news about the Village hidden in the Snow. Have you heard anything so far?" Sanae asked, her health restored a bit as she talked to the Mizukage woman. Honestly, she didn't see why Lady Hokage would dislike her... She seemed tolerable. Much better than that snake of a brother...Kusakage Theme

Disobey me.... The Mizukage almost burst out laughing. As much as she tried to hold back, she couldn't help herself. Her head slumped down in an attempt to hide her face. With a wide grin she shook her head, chuckling heartily. A small grin even graced Shouta's lips. The terrible Lady.....at your peril.

Lady Kusakage couldn't help but smile herself; so they were spared of details. What, did Lady Hokage fail to inform them of the many Snow refugees finding residence in the Land of Water? Surely, she would've known. Or would've been aware of it. No need for her to bring it up. "Me neither," she sighed, "And I'm usually one to date on information... It's hard for me to keep up, I'm afraid." She then eyed to cookies in the trash and smirked, resting her hand underneath her chin as her dark, opaque eyes locked to Suijin, "Mind telling me what happened between you and the old witch?"Kusakage Theme

Disobey me.... Composing herself, but still keeping an amused grin she said- "First off- I'm sorry but-" she laughed. "I'm laughing because two of those ninja I was speaking with had just escaped from Snow!" With a small sigh, she finally stopped laughing. "They're Snow-nin. The white-haired guy, the girl and another girl who keeps dissapearing and running off from them.".....at your peril.

Her expression did not change. However, her smile did. "Oh!" she giggled, placing a hand upon her paled face, "I'm sorry, I did not know. Really, I'm getting so weak these days... Huh... I was not aware. But really, what happened between you and old Lady Hokage? Did you say something to her? She's been so bitter these days." She hated things outside her knowledge. It bothered her to know end. But what really peeved her was being the last to know things when all this time, it had been right in front of her--! Kusakage Theme

Disobey me.... The Mizukage's grin receeded to a strained, almost non-existant smile. Which then turned into a small scowl as she spoke. "She said some things to me, I said some things to her- Like I said before- she came to my village without so much as sending a message, walked right in while I was in the middle of a meeting, started telling me how to do my job and acted as if she expected to be welcomed with open arms." Her tone was filled with blatant disgust and disapproval of the Hokage. "Someone with her history should have figured otherwise." Shouta's eyes (or eye) darkened as the Hokage was mentioned yet again. Even Nyirei tightened her grip on her clipboard in surpressed anger. Suijin remained leaning against her desk, despite her sudden urge to start wipping her head around wildly. 'There it is again....Hakubo....who the hell is that?...What the hell is this? ....snow, huh?' She tried to brush it off and calm her racing thoughts. She was begining to think she was just crazy, and said nothing. Besides, she was speaking to a fellow Kage. The terrible Lady.....at your peril.

"Indeed," sighed Sanae as she closed her eyes, her smooth hands brushing her hair out of her face. She was not one to place judgement; perhaps Lady Hokage had seen it another way, and perhaps both behaved badly. But she couldn't say for certain; she barely knew the woman let alone heard much from her. As they conversed, she heard a voice ringing through her head and shivered; who on earth would do that...? "Ugh, not her little boyfriend again..." Sanae muttered to herself, searching through her sleeve as she brought out a fan, "I warned her, he's too much. But did she listen? Nooo..." she huffed under her breath, unfolding the fan swiftly whilst fanning her herself. Kusakage Intro Theme

In stormed an angry blonde with at least 10 jounin following behind as they tried to stop her and push her back out the way they came, "Lady Ruka, please! Your husband should do this! It's not you--!" "THE HELL IT ISN'T MY BUSINESS!" she barked back, "I WANNA KNOW WHY THE b***h SENT HER DOGS OUT ON MY HUSBAND'S LANDS AND DESERTS! HAS SHE NO RESPECT FOR THE VALLEY OF THE WIND?! GET OFF! LET ME GO!" As she slammed the doors open to the office, her eyes narrowed into thin, red slits and hissed at the sight of Suijin while pointing a finger at her, "YOU--! YOU'VE GOT SOME NERVE SENDING OUT GENIN ON OUR TURF AND WITHOUT ISSUE! I HO--!" "Ruka, please," spoke Sanae quietly, "Now's not the time to be yelling; Lady Mizukage's... Been drinking, and this is a matter for your husband to deal with, correct?""STAY OUT OF IT, SANAE! YOU DEAL WITH YOUR LOVER IN THE TEA COUNTRY, YOU WHORE, WHILE I'LL DEAL WITH THIS BI--!"That did it. Her eyes flashed a dark, horrific glare and assumed a style of a serpent-like martial arts, striking at the woman as she blocked and shocked each vital point Ruka had in her body. 13 hits. That's all it took. For letting her mouth run and letting her temper get the better of her...!

Disobey me.... The Mizukage heard the woman storming her way up to her office and raised an eyebrow as the blonde woman and Lady Kusakage argued. Chuckleing, she said, "Oh I am just gettin' ta meet aaaallll kinds'a people taday!" she spoke in an exhasperated tone that was covered up by blatantly fake kindness. "You know- I could use another sake right now. How 'bout you blondie?" she said with a sneer to Ruka. Mizuchi stared at the blonde lady, immediately recognizing her from before. Her mood didn't seem any better than before either. It probably didn't help the matter that he was still covered in blood and without realizing it had flecks of the rogue's ripped intestines in is hair and under his nails. The terrible Lady.....at your peril.

Instantly, the jounin had sprung at Sanae, but Ruka, now bending over in pain at the feeling of her pressure points being punctured and plucked at, waved her hand and glared up at Suijin, "You damn straight you are. Pull that off again, and I swear I'll send a hell of a war down your door. Hear me?" Sanae forced a snide grin upon her lips and gazed over at the 10 men standing behind Ruka, "How does it feel, Ruka? To have your husband's men at your control? Does it make you feel close to being Kazekage?" The b***h needed to know her place. To think, that she had actually tried to keep her out of harm's way; no, she had gone to far when she had mention Sakaki... "If it weren't for your husband, you'd still be out wasting away in the valleys of west, somewhere deep in the harsh terrains of Wind. Forgotten yet still alive. Isn't that right? That's where you're from, right? Out in the wasted areas of the desert?" Ruka paid no mind to Sanae, but shot a glare over at her when she had mention her place of birth. "... What?" was her only reply when she heard Suijin mention sake. Good god, she was worse than her husband! At least he knew how to be quiet, focused, and cool when times called for it. ... Sometimes. "Drink? What drink? What are you talking about?""Yes, I'm quite parched myself; I could use a bottle of warm sake for old times sake. It's been a while since I've drank. Any of you care for a drinking contest?" said Sanae as she held up her purse, filled with ryo and yen.Ruka raised a brow at this. What the hell were they getting at? "Don't you have a condition, Sana-chan~?" she mocked, knowing her sister in law HATED it when her husband addressed her that way."Yes, but I think I've taking a liking to this water," said Sanae as she held up the Mizukage's bottle, "Why? What's the matter Ruka-dear? Can't drink? I've been taught for almost 5 years now. Along with dance and song. It's an art to drink sake, and it takes years to get it right.""Not like you, I can't!" snapped Ruka, "There's nothing 'artistic' about drinking sake! And if you think you can out-drink me, b***h, THEN YOU'RE WRONG! I've drunk with bastards, brawlers, sinners, and the foulest of Suna's drunks, and I STILL haven't lost!" The men coward from her as she glared her way over to Sanae. They knew it was true; the last thing they wanted was a drunk Ruka. They knew what happened the last time they brought home a battered, bloodied Sazoru home in the middle of the night...

Disobey me.... "HELL YEEEAAHHH!!!! NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN 'BOUT!!!" The Mizukage shouted, pounding her fist on her desk at the Kusakage's mention of a drinking contest! A wild, sadistic grin over-took Suijin's face. The old Suijin had broke free! As soon as she had returned home from her trip she'd been told she'd become the Mizukage and had been sitting behind a desk ever since. O-HO-BOY did she need this!!! She listened to the two rant, especially to Ruka's bit about her drinking prowess. Shouta face-palmed and shook his head, Nyirei sighed and slumped against the wall. Suijin's grin just widened. "Well that makes two of us! For Kiri, of course." she picked up her giant sword that had been leaning against the wall and smashed open a window. "C'mon! I know a great place! LAST ONE THERE BUYS!!!" she said leaping out- not even bothering to tell either one where it was. Mizuchi was giggling. Though not in the way one would expect from a six-year-old. His was a bit of a demonic giggle. He watched the whole scene play out with much amusement. .....at your peril.

With a scoff, Ruka stormed back out and followed behind Suijin. Indeed, this was how she was going to resolve her anger and malice towards the Mizukage and her village. By taking it out on booze and beating the Kiri's kage in a drinking contest. Hell NO would she loose. All her life she had to fight and grow up with a bunch of filthy, disgusting men. She wouldn't let it go forgotten and unacknowledged. Tonight, she'd reign victorious! Sanae smiled and walked behind Ruka; she wouldn't mind paying, but she'll be damned if she let a desert rat like Sazoru's wife beat her in a drinking contest. Little did she know, there was a finesse to drinking, and it had to be indulged at a certain pace instead of wolfing it down in one gulp. Still, that was how she played the game of dancing and drinking; that was how she lured men in. By simply knowing how to drink and how to pour and serve a drink. Like a geisha in edo, she was quite skilled at entertaining despite her health. She'd enjoy herself tonight... ... Just to see her brother's wife lose and weep in defeat.

Nyirei hung back at The Mizukage's office after she had left with Lady Sanae and Lady Ruka. She knew Lady Mizukage was teaching Mizuchi Shogi so she started up a game with him. Mizuchi was doing fairly well for a six year old, though that didn't necessarily mean he had much hope at beating Nyirei. The little blue boy stared at the board, disgruntled. It was his turn and he didn't look like he was going to figure out his next move any time soon. Shouta had left not long ago to check on an intruder. 'I hope he doesn't run into much trouble.' There was a small klak and Nyirei's attention snapped back to the board. "WHAT? HOW DID YOU-" her eyes made an instant replay of Mizuchi's move. Then muttered "Crap!" He'd taken her bishop. "Your mothers teaching you this game too well!""Well, well! Looks like Twiggy's losing to little five-year-old!" came a familiar voice from the window. Devonte was crouched on the window sill, the darkness of the night flooding behind him, making the only thing of the village behind him visible were the lights shining from the windows and street lamps. "Im six and a half." he grumbled. "So, did the Hokage leave yet?"With a grim expression he said, "I'll tell you about it later. I got an order from Lady Mizukage. She wants every shinobi back to the village before dawn. You know what that means."Nyirei's eyes widened slightly. "So soon?""It's as good a time as any. And it's better than waiting for those bastards to come smashing down our gate.""Yeah, I suppose." Standing, she said, "I'll take care of it. Sorry Mizuchi, we'll finish up later. Kay?" she said with a sweet smile. "Kay.""Hey, why don't you come down to Keizo's? Betch'er hungry after that little blood-bath." Devonte said grinning down at Mizuchi, slapping a hand on his little shoulder. "ALL RIGHT!" he said excitedly, beaming up at his sensei. He was hungry, and he wanted to see his mother in a drinking contest. Those were always fun to watch! "Catch ya later Twiggy!" he said over his shoulder to Nyirei as they parted ways. He and Mizuchi raced down to Keizo's bar as Nyirei went to dispatch messenger birds and call back the Kiri shinobi who were away on missions.

Keichii shifted uncomfortably. He felt so naked without his hammer, but he couldn't for the life of him remember where he put it. He had figured being the Yukikage would make meeting with the Mizukage less intimidating awkward, but the deepening feeling of dread filling his stomach told him otherwise.
Admittedly, the stress was mostly due to the impending trip back to the Land of Snow. Damn, he still felt like a weaksauce genin. For once Keichii was feeling very warm. Burning actually. He shifted some more, afraid his plastic waiting-room chair was going to melt from beneath him.
The working staff memebers glared at him sharply. He'd been there since first thing in the morning and hadn't. stopped. fidgiting.
Keichii finally decided on a position, sitting stock-straight, staring blankly ahead of himself in an attempt to keep focused. His eyelids were much darker purple than normal and skin much paler. The familiar rusty smell of blood once again hung around his clothing, seeping from the blood bags he'd either swiped from the hospital again, or drained from his sisters while pacing about the apartment in a sleep-deprived frenzy.
Dammit, he was almost wanting the Mizukage to show up and yell at him now, just so he could be distracted from himself.

It's a poor sort of memory. . Rakutsu entered the room in an otherwise normal fashion. What was drawing stares, today, however, was the... thing attached to her right arm. Described simply, it was a claw. It was more streamlined than the weapons she had confiscated during her short term in prison; it consisted of several long blades attached directly to the long, leather glove she now wore. ''Howdy, Brother.'' She said with a cheerful smile. In the palm of her left hand she held a small rice ball. It didn't seem burned, messy or moving. It almost looked appetizing. ''I figured you were hungry so i attempted to fix you a little something, Would you like to try it?'' . .That only works backwards.
