You could buy another snake to eat the extras.
Or do you have friends that have snakes? You could start a mouse coop.

Does anyone know if having a hermit crab as a pet is expensive or stinky? I keep wanting a pet that doesn't scare me or cost too much and I like the idea of decorating their shells. I can't do snakes. And I need a tiny, non-smelly pet for a tiny, studio apartment. Well, I THINK I need one.

some of the members of another guild of mine talked about hermit crabs a year or so ago, i considered getting them if i decide not to have fish anymore, from what i remember they sound like a good pet to have 3nodding i think the main thing you need to take care of is the water, tap water will kill them if i remember correctly ninja

When I was much younger, I had a coworker that had a Boa - his name was SilkTye... he was probably 6 feet long. My coworker would bring him to work and let me play with him... which consisted of Silk wrapping himself around me with his head tangled in my hair and his tail in my pocket. I worked at an airport, so it was kinda fun to bump into the pilots who thought they walked on water and watch them freak out over this little snake twisted Note: Boa's don't tend to strangle humans unless someone has frightened them... sweatdrop

Hey, Umberella's got a friend who's worked as a ramp attendant in the Portland airport for the last 10 years. I always thought it would be great to work for an airline or airport because of the travel benefits.
But with security these days and my credit record... I'm not exactly a prime candidate.

Well, this is probably not the best example of adult conversation. It kind of calmed down when it swung around to pets, but I keep getting stumped for ideas. I figure I should just go see what the kids are talking about every now and then and mention it here, but I've got a real short fuse and, when I'm done wiping my saliva off the monitor (after shouting myself into an incoherent frenzy) I've usually forgotten about what I was talking about. The only thing I can think of is rather more unpleasant than even my usual contributions: the Bikini Strangler. What's up with that? When does ONE victim make you a "strangler" - doesn't it imply that the police are dealing with a serial killer when the press dubs someone a "strangler?" I mean, according to this rather unpleasant chart, almost 2,000 women were killed in 2002 alone. There were 143 strangulations, 16 of these to people under 18 (actually, I think the victim was over 18, which would put her in the company of over 100 victims in 2002. How many last year?) FBI CRIME STATISTICSWell, anyway, it just seems odd. Maybe you guys ought to go back to talking about pets again. Or horses.

If you have any peppermint tea, I would love some. It calms me down.
Also, scones and clotted cream, if you have any, please.

Did someone say "tea"? Would that be Long Island Iced Tea, or Electric Ice? twisted
Yes, I was a ramp rat... the pay was minimum wage, and I never had enough time off to actually use the benefits of going anywhere... pirate

Has anyone ever had one of Gaia's special events while in guilds? It has been forever since I have seen one... and I was wondering if it was because I spend more time posting in guilds than in the general forums... I'd have to say it has been at least 6 months or more.

I have had a random giftbox/trunk float across my screen while in guilds, so I don't think that makes a difference - haven't seen any at all for quite a while, though. The last giftbox I saw was in April, when my mule got Fox Ears - within a couple of weeks of joining - lucky mule! xd
