Akutenshi blinked when Zen and Angela appeared next to him out of the blue, though he blatantly ignored the tone in his voice. "Why, yes! Yes, I am. It really is quite interesting here. Tell me, what's the name of this planet I'm in? I was in a rush earlier and didn't have time to check the destination."

Angela bit her lip slightly when she heard the tone of Zen's voice. He seemed rather...annoyed with Akutenshi. She could only imagine how angry he would have been with her if she'd actually signed that contract.
She didn't care that much. Really. She still wanted to kick Des in the face for actually having the nerve to knock her unconscious like that.
Damn faerie b*****d.
"Are you feeling better?" she asked Aku. He'd just had a piece of his soul ripped out. That definitely couldn't have felt pleasant.

"This is Kall, my realm and the plane where time and space and spirit flow. This particular place, in Kall is Tintagil... the last monument of my civilization and it's capitol city... and my castle," Zen told aku, it sounded rehearsed as he'd said it millions of time already, and he was always a bit proud--verging on arrogant-- when he did get to say it.

"/Your/ castle, hm?" Akutenshi glanced around the room. His tail swished back and forth slightly, his attention now turned to Angela as she asked about him.
"After that nap, I do feel better. Just feeling a bit empty inside, but that's natural. At least I didn't get the bad side effects like Toshi did," he told, her, smiling happily. He'd taken hold of Angela's hands a few moments after he started talking to her. "Do you really worry about someone like me? Most wouldn't care, like this redhead here doesn't."

Angela was looking down at her hands, which were encased in Akutenshi's hands. She wanted to tell him to let go because, well, she didn't particularly like be touched by weird men she didn't know. Or weird men she did know. Or weird men in general
Only she felt a bit guilty about that whole soul thing still so she decided to bear with it.
"Well, you had a bit of your soul ripped out while helping a friend of mine," she told him. "I think it's normal to worry about someone after something like that, don't you agree?"
She tugged one of her hands free and used it to move his hair off his forehead a bit so she could see the scar that remained from his earlier wound. "I feel rather bad about the whole thing really," she admitted.

"Yes, and if Ky had thrown me through the Gate of Avalon like she was supposed to, you wouldn't have had to come." Zen butted in between Aku and Angela.
"I don't worry about anyone in Kall, you can't die here so there's not a real reason." Zen shrugged. "Only time I'd have to is if you ended up finding Aetra, as I see some of you did."

What Zen just said really intrigued him, and piqued his natural curiosity for how things worked. He had so many questions to ask, but the most dominant one seemed to be him blurting out, "Who is Aetra?"

"Might as well ask him that, I've been trying to figure that out for ages now. He's the black crater outside if you look far enough out, but who he is... or even if he is a person, I don't know." Zen threw his hands up, fed up with Atra.

"And he is the most annoying crater you could ever meet, Akutenshi" Angela replied. "He was weirdly obsessed with the idea of Zen having children, told me something incredibly irritating about myself that I rather wish he'd kept to himself and on top of that, he seemed to be hitting on me a bit. Which was rather odd and creepy."
Oh yeah. Akutenshi had kind of hit on her a bit earlier too. She'd forgotten. Well, perhaps he was just joking.
And at least he wasn't a talking a crater.

"Then perhaps I should go seek out this Aetra and find out for you. He sounds far too interesting to pass up," he mused. Akutenshi then pushed Zen out of the way and took hold of Angela's hands again with a smile. "I can see why he would. You're absolutely adorable, you know that?" Without so much of a warning, the man promptly kissed her, his tail swishing happily back and forth.

Zen was about to say "sure, go ahead if you have a death wish, " when Aku was snogging Angela! That wasn't allowed! Especially not in Zen's castle!
He was turning red like his hair in fury, not sure why he was that mad though over this.
Rather than punch the fiend, he took it partially in stride and replied. "None more interesting than Atra, I'm sure he'll be very glad to have a visitor, and it's not hard to find him."

Angela's eyes went wide as Aku abruptly intruded into her personal space. Her face grew hot and she completely froze.
He was kissing her! Why was he kissing her!?
Her very first inclination was to fry him. In fact, she tried. But her powers were still hibernating at the moment and she couldn't even produce a sizzle, much less an actual lightning bolt. It took her a distressingly long time to realize that Aku was only holding onto her hands and there was nothing keeping her from pulling away, which she did immediately, still in shock as she raised a hand to her mouth to wipe the taste of him away.
"Wh--why....!?"
She was too surprised to even jerk her other hand away from him and was too busy trying to wrap her brain around the fact that someone had just kissed her to even consider which of his limbs she was going to break to teach him a lesson.

Akutenshi just laughed slightly at her reaction, completely ignoring Zen at the moment. "I told you, you're just cute too pass up! Why, I'd be displeased with myself if I hadn't even bothered! Perhaps later we can continue this, yes?"

Zen lost himself at the second comment by the demon, it sounded too much like Atra for him to be comfortable. He made a right round house punch to Akutenshi's cheek. "Touch her again and you'll be feeling the same thing you revived me out of in here."

Angela was a bit startled when, before she could hit Akutenshi, Zen did it for her. She wasn't quite sure how to respond to that really.
She was a bit put out that he beat her to it but then no one had ever actually defended her before. Her friends knew she was self sufficient and all but Ian treated her like she was indestructible so she'd always stood up for herself. No one had ever stepped in and threatened someone on her behalf like that.
She didn't really go in for that damsel in distress sort of thing but even so, having Zen step in like that...it kind of made her feel...happy.
A little.
