Kiro looked around trying to see throw the rain. he leaned back aganst his tree that was set next to the path he smiled at the thout of rain, for it is his favorit type of weather. he smiled and closed his eyes leting his hearing do the work.

Elistral made to follow him, but stopped herself. That expression; it was best to leave him alone for now. She stared at her drink through the glass, watching the firelight. His thoughts were his own, and he needed the time to sort them, even if it was for eternity. She downed almost half of it in one go, setting the glass back down. Her fingers traced the cover of the book in front of her, bringing up a memory. It wasn't her own, or maybe it was, but it was familar. She finished the rest of the drink, and called to the innkeeper. "Another one please, this time a little bit stronger." Her eyes began to see the words of the book in a different way when she found the page again.
Verin shivered as the rain seemed to get colder. He picked up his pace a little, squinting through the downpour. He could barely make out the trees in the poor light of a streetlamp, but he was getting closer to them. His hand rubbed his wristwatch thoughtfully, the worn leather comforting him.

*Verin suddenly hears ominous laughing* Mwuahahaha *suddenly he is swept up and sped into the darkness of an abondoned alley with only one way in, i whisper evilly* Gotcha,boy.

Suddenly he felt colder now, and shivered some more. Then he heard someone laughing behind him. The bright street lamp's glow disappeared from his view, and he found himself in a dark alley. "Shi--" He started to curse, and grabbed his pocketknife, holding the blade in front of him. "Who are you?!" He called, the rain almost drowning his voice. Just his luck, now he was going to be killed.

-After leaveing the inn I head for a small hill near the edge of town where a burnt patch of foundation where a house used to be with a intricate bronze sign in front saying: "In memory of our savior." Once I see it I punch it bending it almost in half and continue inside where most of the building is in tact but with a hole in the roof where two grave markers stand. One was hers- "They call me savior. I'm not a savior. Not when I don't save others." -This time I really do start crying. Then I fall to my knees with my arms holding up the rest of me- "I'm so sorry. I couldn't save you. I just couldn't save you......Arghhhhh!" -I scream in both rage and saddness and slam my fist against the solid rock foundation beneath me with a giant crack and decide to leave. So I get up turn and go to the door but before I exit I look over my shoulder one more time and walk away into the rain-

You think that toy will hurt me boy? *i grab the knife by the blade and rip it from his hand cutting myself slightly in the proccess* Ah a mere scratch *i lick my own blood off the knife, i suddenly grow into a gaint, winged, bipedal wolf creature growling* hmm what should i do with you.....

((Lol, okay. You disappeared somewhere, Rayne went by a tree after talking to Kiro, Strider and Elistral went through this whole talking thing (Read the posts if you want to), Kiro (I think he) went to another tree, Verin snuck out, Remus stalked him for a little, Strider went off on his own again, Elistral's in the inn reading his book, and then Remus kidnapped Verin. I still have to read Strider's post before you posted. :3))
Verin stared at the giant thing in front of him. He had left his other knife at home, so now he was defenseless. He backed up against the wall behind him, and wondered if he could slide under the wolf/bat thing.

Verin didn't relax even a little as the wolf talked to him. "A game?" He asked tentatively, still with his guard up. "What kind of game are you thinking of?"
