Mr.Scott was walking down the halls towards the bar, he hoped that he would run into Mrs.Gaila.
He found her very technology savvy, and she had a thing for drinking as well.

 Gaila snorted at the mention of her superior officer, then, suddenly grew paranoid and looked around the room to check that he wasn't there. When it was clear that he wasn't there Gaila sighed in relief. Technically, Gaila was supposed to be in the transporter room working by now. The last thing she needed right now was her boss lecturing her about skipping out on work. Lord know that she'd be getting an ear full from Keenser tomorrow.
Uhura's reluctance to talk about whatever situation Kirk had gotten himself into perked her interest. "Oh, so it's that bad huh?", she asked casually before taking another sip. Her curiosity was killing her, but Uhura didn't want to talk about it Gaila would just find another way of learning what happened. She always did.
Gaila rolled her eyes at Uhura's question. "Eh, nothing much happens during the night shift. It's just me an Keenser down there. We pretty much make sure things are running smoothly. I've been teaching him how to cheat at poker in our spare time.", Gaila paused and took another gulp of wine, "Bet it's nothing compared to the excitement you must have on the bridge." Another gulp of wine. "I'm actually a little jealous of you, Uhura.".
Gaila's eyes widened in surprise when Scotty walked in the bar. She smiled brightly and waved at him to come over. Maybe if she'd buy him a few drinks he'd forget that she was supposed to be working now.

 Seeing Gaila wave at him made Mr.Scott feel good inside, he walked towards her and Uhura. Mr.Scott didn't mind that she wasn't working, nothing important really needed to be done anyways.
" He-Hello' Mrs.Gaila, you look wonderful' tonight. "

Relief flooded over Gaila as soon she realized that Scotty wasn't angry at her. If there was one thing she hated it was being lectured at. Scotty's compliment made Gaila smile.
"Why thank you, Mister Scott. Might I say that you're looking rather handsome youself. But there's no need to be so formal, Mister Scott. And besides, it's Miss, not Mrs.", Gaila said as she held up her hands and wiggled her long green fingers, "See, still single." Actually, there was no such thing as marriage, or even an equivalent to marriage, on Orion. Everyone was polyamorous. Not like she was going to tell anyone else that.
"Why don't you sit down and join us? I'll get us some more drinks!", she said before she went to the bar and grabbed a bottle of Enolian Spice Wine and some empty glasses. Gaila poured out the wine in the glasses and took a large gulp.
"So, Mister Scott, what bring you here?", she said coquettishly before Uhura's statement nearly made her choke on her drink from laughter.
"D'aww... poor dear. Drowning in all the testosterone is that it?", she joked with a giggle and a hiccup. Uh oh. Damn, that wine must have been stronger than she remembered.

Mr.Scott was so nervous that he was at a loss for words, he needed to make conversation quick before she started talking to someone else.

Gaila smiled as she took another drink. "Why, Scotty, are you trying to flirt with me?", she asked playfully her smile getting bigger as she inched closer to Scotty. "Because if you are, there's no reason to be nervous. I think it's rather sweet."

 ((This is going to be my last post for the night since it's 2 in the morning and I've got work tomorrow. And my brain is dieing.))
"A crazy b*****d?", Gaila chuckled, "Normality is relative. No reason to worry about what people think. My clan matriarch always told me that other people's opinions of me were none of my business. But...", Gaila paused and took another drink, "You don't seem crazy to me. I think you're fun. You're not as uptight as everyone else is and you're passionate about what you do. I like that.", Gaila smiled gently and placed her hand on Scotty's, " A lot."
Just then, the alarm on Gaila's watch went blaring. Well, there went that moment. Gaila let loose a string of curses in her native language before quickly downing the rest of her drink. "I've got somewhere I need to be.", she said with a disappointed pout. "Bye Uhura!", she said with a small wave before turning to Scotty and sending him a large smile. "See you later, handsome.", she said trying her hardest to sound sexy instead of giddy, damn alcohol, before leaving the bar.

It had taken longer to wing the girl off his back. She had insisted that he look at the report and no one else. Kirk groaned mentally as he checked the list off on the data pad. He gave a reassuring grin stating that he had indeed read through the report.
The report had been full of bullshit, “Thanks…Right, I’ll do that later.” He informed her. Kirk handed the half eaten apple in her hand as a reward for wasting his time. Striding away from the baffled cadet, Kirk kept a look out for Janice.
He had evidently missed her during his little chat with whats-her-face. No matter, he saw a familiar face that he wanted to apologize too. Jim knew he hadn’t ended things well with Uhura. She had tried to comfort him and he blew her off like the a** he was known to be.
“Hey Uhura,” he said, sneaking up along side her. He took note that Galia was missing from the scene.

A soft sigh escaped Janice's lips as she flipped another page of her instruction manual. She was given the job as a Chief of Maintenance therefor she had alot cramming to do. Bascily she was in charge of making sure the crew were doing what they were supposed to, and make sure that the machines and control panels were in order, also having basic knowledge of every machine and control panel on the ship in case some one was out. She set the book down on her lap and rubbed her eyes. Leaning back in her chair she gazed outside the front windows watching the stars fly past them. "We should be close to vulcan" she stated to herself.
She placed the book on her control panel and walked over to the Navigation Panel. "3hours to go" She picked up her communicator and plugged in her Earpiece. "Scott? Hey its Janice. We'll be needing a team beamed down in 3 hours, -can you make sure everything is in order?...Great..Fantastic. Thanks!" she ended the call and ran her hand through her hair again. With another long boring sigh she walked back to her seat and licked her finger and flipped a page.. "boring.."

Jim chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck, “Oh, I would join you…but I am the Captain. Someone has to be sober aboard this ship.” He wondered in the back of his mind on how many she had consumed. Quite a few was going to be his best guess.
He sat down in the chair next to her, finding that he wasn’t shunned from her presence. “Look, about earlier…” Jim leaned in closer, keeping his voice low so that no one else heard. He had caught a few glances, “…I’m sorry..my temper got the best of me. I want to thank you for trying to help me.”
The world hadn't ended from Kirk's little words.
