"THat's wh- Hey, wait up !" Sei darted after Seung, careful to try and dodge guards, looking around carefully until...
"Over there." He said, keeping his voice low. The door was slightly open...

The guard headed south hadn't noticed anything yet. He was still drowsy from his unscheduled nap and stumbled down the walkway rubbing his eyes and yawning.

Seung rushed out onto the walkway, then stumbled back into Sei when she saw the guard coming. She could see the open door, but the guard was headed there too. "Should we just wait until he turns around?" she whispered, not wanting to hurt anyone else if need be.

"That might be a good idea..." His sheilds were still up, however, just in case.
In fact, if he was right and Mik was actually hurt, the last thing they needed was to lead more trouble straight on him.

The guard reached the end of the walkway and slumped against the wall, scrubbing his face with his hands in a vain attempt to wake himself up. After a moment, he pushed himself back up and trudged northward along the walkway, head lolling back and forth with every step.

Seung breathed a sigh of relief as the guard wandered off. "Okay, he's going away." She pushed off the ground lightly so she could hover down to the open door without making any noise and headed off once the guard was far enough away.

And Sei followed, as silently as he could manage, careful to use the area for as much cover as he could get and, finally, reached the inside of the room where the angel waited.
"s**t..." He's been right. He hadn't wanted to be right, but he had been, His hands reached to tear at the fabric of his shirt so he could at the very least bandage what wounds the redhead hadn't taken care of itself - by now, at the very least, it looked like he had stopped bleeding, though he was far from an expert in human (...fa'e ?) biology.

Apparently, he looked about as bad as he felt. Still, Mik was glad to see his fellow Fa'e after his detour-gone-slightly-wrong, and glad to see that they looked mostly alright.

After a last check for the guard, Seung slipped into the room. Her face went pale to see the angel cut up and bloody. "Mik! What happened? Are...are you alright?" Not that it wasn't obvious from the sight of him, but she couldn't help asking. She clamped her hands over her mouth, her stomach churning from all the blood.

Maybe they shouldn't have separated... Maybe, maybe...
Stop that The more logical side of his mind told him. What's done is done. You arn't out of the woods just yet.
The blonde finished his work - these where far from professional bandages, but it assumed the slight pressure would, at the very least keep from bleeding and help the wounds close.
From the angle he had taken to tend to Mik's arm, the hole in his shirt from where he'd taken the lance hit earlier was well visible... as well as the bloodless cut, and a glint of blue and gray.
He rose to stand again after he was done, wiping the blood on his hand on his pants before he crouched once more to address Seung. "What do you think would be the closest gate from here, do you know ? I... We need to get out of there as soon as we can."
Before the guard he knocked out earlier woke up and potentially brought friends...

Mikhail rubbed the back of his neck with his uninjured hand, feeling almost sheepish about his current state after her saw the look on Seung's face. He felt horrible that she had to see all this, and was thankful he'd thought to close the other door. How was he going to answer her question, though? He didn't want to upset her any further, but he didn't want to lie, either. Finally, he settled with, "It's kind of a long story."
"Thanks," he said to Sei, grateful for the help. He'd noticed the hole in the other teen's shirt initially, but from this angle...well, he'd wonder about it later.

Seung gulped hard. It didn't really matter how Mik got hurt right now. It was more important for them all to get out quickly. "The main gate is closest," she said hesitantly. "But lots more guards there. There's that well or a little gate west of the main one." From the look of Mik, she didn't think going down a well would be a good idea for him. "Little gate's probably best."

Sei's idea seemed roughly the same - it would do them much good to avoid guards, and a well...
....As far as he was concerned, him sinking like a rock by his lonesome was all fine and well, but in the presence of others... The fact seemed to have him entirely too self-conscious, amusingly enough.
"Shall we go ?" Mik looked like he was able to stand just fine, at least. Better count one's lucky stars.

A well? Mik was about to be worried, but then Seung decided on the smaller gate. Even if he'd been perfectly fine, he wouldn't have been at all okay with going down a well. He couldn't swim, and was in fact terrified of water. They'd've had to drag him down it.
"Yeah," he agreed, nodding. He was more than ready to go home.

Seung looked out the door, checking up and down the walkway. The guard was still heading northward and looked like he would pass out any second from the way he walked. "Is clear," she said softly, edging out the room. "If we go back the way Sei and me came, there's a door that goes outside." Again, she pushed off to hover and started to lead the way.
