"Th-they're all my rooms, s-silly," Ellandra said, smiling softly. "Th-the bedroom's the first on th-the left wh-when you g-get into the kitchen-hall, though. Th-there's still p-pillows on the bed, th-the ones I b-brought out were spares." She couldn't really believe she was doing this. . . . but at the same time it really was the most obvious solution.

Foalan adjusted his hold on Ziazan so he could cradle the Essentic with one hand, his other reaching over to take Ellandra's. He led her back the way she said her bedroom was. "It'll be okay, Elle. I just want to lie down and sleep, nothing else. I don't mind having someone to hold while I do that, though."

Ellandra smiled softly, a blush rising to her face as she walked with Faolan. "I know," she said seriously, managing not to stutter. Really, she wasn't minding this as much as she thought she should be. . . and she couldn't really bring herself to care about that, either.

Faolan walked into the room and immediately headed for the bed. Sitting down, he put Ziazan on a pillow, then began removing his boots. "You want me to wait outside while you change for bed?"

Ellandra shook her head a little. "N-no, no, I have a bathroom, I'll j-just change in there..." So saying, she went to her dresser and grabbed some sleeping things out of it. "Y-you just rest," she called over her shoulder as she left the bedroom to change clothes.

Faolan nodded tiredly as she spoke. As soon as she'd left he pulled off his jacket and shirt, tossing both on the nearest chair and laid back, intending just to rest for a bit before she returned. He closed his eyes and within moments was fast asleep.
Ziazan got up and waddled along the pillows to be closer to its master, curling up beside the young man. Faolan rolled onto his side, putting a hand up on the creature.

Ellandra came back from changing; she had taken her time because honestly, the thought of returning to her bedroom with Faolan in there was just a little on the frightening side. She realized she needn't have worried, however, once she stepped through the door. Faolan was already completely asleep.
A soft smile spread across the tiny brunette's face and she moved over to her closet, grabbing a stepstool and reaching for a folded-up blanket on a shelf. Taking it down, she spread it over the sleeping man and his Essentic - Faolan must have been completely exhausted to be asleep so quickly - before going back around the bed and climbing under the covers.
She didn't fall asleep nearly as quickly as he did, but lying there and listening to him breathe was surprisingly relaxing.
This. . . might be something she could very much become used to.
