((well finally you're on the same time i am ^_^))
Denae hushed her startled cry as Garrett took hold of her chains and pulled her to her feet and from under Griffin. She tried to protest as he pulled her behind Aera, what was Aera thinking? Honestly?
"There, you can go here. I'll be just over there." Garrett stated as he lengthened the chains between Aera and her wrists. That way Aera didn't have to worry about Denae watching, she assumed.
"But what..." Denae started only to feel a snake like vine curl around her ankle. She cried out and tried to pull her ankle from the greenery only to get stuck from each of the thorns. She fell forward to the floor. "This is just great!" she exclaimed. "Aera what were you thinking? He'd just let you go? That you'd run away? You have no idea where we are, what trouble we are in. Did you see that Aera? He controls plants!" her harsh whisper turned to a sigh. "He has power, he's not human. Did you see those others? They were ugly as F***, those were absolutely not human. And that other guy? Nope not human."
She looked up to her classmate, whom she couldn't tell if she was listening or not. "Aera are you getting this? We're not in kansas any more. We're a minority here."

Garrett behaved, standing behind the tree, not looking. Didn't mean he wasn't paying attention. When he heard the noble fall, it took some effort not to turn and help her up. She was the princess wasn't she? Why shouldn't he help her up? But he was the bad guy here and they all knew it, he couldn't show any more sympathy then he already had with giving them food.
But then again, if she starved, or any of her friends...what good would she be to him dead?
And Aera? She was so...he couldn't put a finger on it, she sparked imagination, she was firy, fury in all its glory, and some how it interested him. He wanted to know what really got her ticked, what calmed her... He shook his head, was he honestly thinking about her like that? He'd only kidnapped her the other day. Knew her for only a little while, why this fasination? She was like a horse, he convinced himself. A wild horse he only wanted to tame. Right? His head couldn't be spinning any more then it already was. She better finish soon before he picked them both up and went back to camp.
((are the trolls going to 'blab' about Logan, Wolf, and Wendel?))

Aera thought she had been granted a break when he released her from the chain gang, but much her dismay her classmate Denae was still attached to her. 'Damn...' She thought to herself as Garrett led them into the woods and away from the others.
The redhead watched the boy leave their company so she could 'do her business' and looked away from Denae for the moment. She glanced down at her as the 'princess' fell from a nasty rose bush. 'Oh the irony.' She thought to herself as she rolled her eyes at Denae's words. "Spare me the lecture, your highness." The title she gave Denae seething with sarcasm. "Don't you think I've figured all that out already?! At least here we can have a private moment to think." Her tone shifted from a rather rude gibe to contemplative thought as she looked around. "And Kristina was giving me a headache." She added, narrowing her gray eyes as she noted all the plant life surrounding them. 'We're at a serious disadvantage here.' She closed her eyes, folding her arms as she considered their options. This would be so much easier if there weren't others in the picture. Aera was the type of girl who could fend for herself just fine, but if others were also in danger she couldn't take such risks.
"Denae," she gave a harsh whisper to her partner as an unconventional idea struck her. 'Sorry in advance,' She thought but did not verbalize. Without further warning, Aera began to bolt away from the scene with surprising force, pulling Denae with her. "Suck it up and run, woman! You're dead weight here!" She cried to the girl, an Aera-esque apology, as they ran further into the forest, hopefully further away from the plant master before he could react.

Denae climbed to her hands and kees as she tried to pull her leg from the thorny vine. "s**t this hurts." she muttered silently. She listened to Aera, relieved slightly to think that she wasn't thinking of running away, cause with them in this situation, that didn't seem like the smartest idea.
"Kristina was being a bit loud," Denae agreed "She was never that wiser in class or rehersal, she must have hit her head..." it was then she slowly remembered Kristina mentioning behing hit by a swinging door. "Ah..."
"Denae," she heard Aera whisper. She looked up at her, her face like an open book.
"Aera are you crazy!?" she cursed back under her breath. But she wasn't even able to finish before Aera started to run. The force was enough, after two tugs to loose Denae of the vine, but did some harm to her ankle. Aera continued to run, with Denae dragging behind her. "Slow down let me stand up!?" she choked as she struggled to her feet. When she finally reached standing possition, she was limping and tripping over her wounded ankle. "Aera you're mad!"

Garrett listened, hearing harsh whispers, it wasn't much like planning. Or so he thought. He felt a pulse go through the grass at his feet. His eyes flashed open as he turned around the tree and started toward the plot he left the two girls. Low and behold Aera was running, while Denae was slowing her down, tripping, her leg bloodied from the bush.
"Damn!" he lifted his arms as he ran, the earth began to move just below Denae's feet, but she'd stepped forward before the grass had begun to grow wild and attempt to ensnare her. "DAMN!" Garrett ran faster, the grass pushing against his feet to gain speed. What on earth happened? That was a rose vine, thorns throughout, why would Aera do that to her princess? He watched Denae struggle and limp as Aera ran ruthlessly. He heard through the trees "Slow down let me stand up!?" Denae choked. "Suck it up and run, woman! You're dead weight here!" came Aera's unsympathetic voice. "Aera you're mad!" Denae cried.
Mad was right, Garrett thought. Why on earth would she run? Even when she knew that she couldn't escape. Garrett slowed, steadied his eyes to what was possibly before them. He saw ahead of them two large trees equally spread apart. With elaborate hand movements, he closed his eyes.
No more then ten yards ahead of Denae and Aera, a web of thick thorny vines started to weave before them between the two trees, vines continued from those two trees to trees to their sides, soon they were boxed in a large cage of thorny vines and trees. There was no where to go. When he finally got there and looked into the cage he warned.
"Becareful," he said softly, "those thorns are poisonous. One p***k and you'll pass out for at least 24 hours"
His eyes seared at Aera, he knew he should be looking at Denae, but he was furious. "So you run away after such hospitality?"
((hows that?))

Aera skidded to a halt as she saw the plant life before her begin to block off the path, surprised. She turned quickly to her left, only to see the vines linking there as well. A spin to the right revealed the same thing. They were trapped.
Her eyes narrowed and she scowled as she turned to face their captor, staring him in the face. How could he be so pissed with them? Flight or fight had kicked in, and she couldn't overpower him herself, so the only other option was to run for it. "What's with that look? If you expect me to play the docile hostage of this group, you're sadly mistaken. I'll leave that role to your princess here." She verbally smacked the two for underestimating her.
Still tense, Aera awaited the boy's retort. 'What now?' She asked herself, not lowering her hard gaze from him nor her guard. She knew what would happen next: he'd flipping cuff her and Denae back together, take them back to camp, load everyone back in the wagon and they'd continue on their way to goblinville or troll town or wherever was their destination. She hated this feeling of helplessness that kept catching up with her in this world, and sure as hell refused to admit it to ANYONE -much less herself. She would continue to fight, one way or another.

Garrett looked through the web of thorns at Aera, he was furious, but suddenly he had no idea why. "Oh I'm smarter then that, I can tell you're no docile anything much less a hostage." he spoke, his voice fluid and deep. "I'm not expecting anything but obediance, whether it be voluntary or forced."
With a slight flick of his wrist, the chains between Aera and Denae began to shorten, going from the long length to no more then a foot. from there he also made the chain vine grow through the web and wrap around his own wrist. "You're going no where, by help of the sages," he said sternly. "Now there's the easy way or the hard way,"
Now when he'd mentioned the poisoned thorns, he wasn't kidding, only the length of the effects varried, most of the time it ranged toward a day and even last as long as a week or so to a month. That's why he had the antidote. Now this hard way was to force this p***k, and the easy way would have them just walk out on their own and return to camp, but with Garrett's eyes glaring back at Aera's he couldn't tell which she'd chose.

Denae wasn't the slightest bit shocked when a large web of thorny vines encircled them at all sides. She turned and looked out the cracks toward the man. She suddenly hated this. This was what she'd wanted. To be a damsil in distress, but she didn't think it would be this agrivating. Besides, if you're a captured 'princess' like every one keeps claiming, where the hell was her prince? She gritted her teeth when she was pulled by the tug of the chains closer to Aera, her ankle hurt horribly. Even just placing her foot on the ground hurt.

(ugh pex you gotta make it difficult on me >_<)
When Garrett noticed Aera was once again defying him, he sighed letting his head fall to his hand as he rubbed his eyebrows. That was when he noticed Denae's ankle. She was treating it tenderly, as if it really hurt. He eyed her momentarily. That's when he made up his mind.
"No answer? Fine, hard way." he said finally, then with a swift movement of his arms, two long vines darted from the cage walls and advanced on Denae and Aera. One p***k was all that it took. He got Denae at the back of her neck, he watched as she slowly collapsed, he let a soft chair of thornless vines ease her down to the ground. He then looked at Aera, her vine had taunted her, curling around her, just an inch away. It curled around her neck, around her shoulders and her breasts, Garrett took a deep breath. "Was that your final answer?" he asked, the vine circling Aera as if threatening her.

Denae didn't know what hit her until she felt the p***k at the back of her neck, but by then it was too late. Everything started to blur, she felt soft support at her back as her eyes rolled back and closed as she slumped. Her knees were weak and she could feel gravity working agianst her.
It wasn't long before she was out.
She lay there on the ground, in a cradle of greenery, gently breathing, her hair flooding around her shoulders and face. She honestly looked like a princess.

Aera's fierce expression had not changed as she continued to glare at the boy through the vines, threatening to stick to her features forever. "Obedience," she let out a small dry laugh. "I'm not your b***h." She spat; her reply to his.
A tug forced her closer to Denae, her eyes widening ever so slightly at the abrupt pull. She looked up and saw him holding onto them.. 'And a leash too... you son of a--' She growled as she watched him yet again. His gestures indicated that he was growing weary of the situation; perhaps her resistance was tiring him out, and if he was weak enough they could pull through the vines-
The red-haired girl's eyes went wide as two vines shot out at them from the cage walls. "What the-" She couldn't finish uttering the thought as Denae fell to the ground, being caught by more lively (and now gentle?) greenery. Instinctively, she reached for the girl (despite their differences, this was foul play!) but found herself bound by a slithering vine that coiled around her. It carressed her face, teasingly, and redirected her attention to the man behind the cage. She stared at him, a kind of awe in her expression now- as if she only now registered the extent of this power he kept threatening her with the entire time. Was she...afraid? Or just... in shock? Even she did not know.
Silence that seemed to stretch a lifetime passed between them those next few seconds. Aera glanced down, biting her lip, her fiery personality now physically stifled but still smoldering internally as she struggled to bring herself to say the following: "... If I go with you... will you promise not to hurt the others?" She thought protectively of her cousin and her peers. The stone-eyed girl did not necessarily like these others she was forced to work with in the theatre department, but if she was forced to see them punished for her recklessness, the guilt settled in.
She silently hoped that Denae would be all right so they could argue another day. As annoying as she was...
((btw Antole: Garrett might know Aera's name, but he has not introduced himself to anyone but the trolls yet! ))

((actually he has, Denae asked him who he was, and he said Garrett, it was then he told them about 'looking for his princess' remember? its a page back. He said his name was Garrett. At that time i think, Griffin, Aera, Denae and Lila were awake. I'm not sure about Sarina, Leslie or Kristina (though she was loud enough to remember) just thought you'd like to know))

The trolls were off to one side of the camp talking amongst themselves, but they were not very careful about the volume of their conversation. And they were not keeping a very watchful eye on the prisoners, they figured they were tied up and wouldn't be going anywhere. "Garrett picked a good time to find that princess." said Burley "Yeah, what a stroke of luck with Wendell and his two chief advisors gone. Garrett's plans should work out very smoothly." agreed Blabberwort. "Who were those advisors again?" asked Bluebell "You idiot don't you pay attention?!?" said Burley "It's that Wolf guy and his son... um, Logan, I think his name was." "Oh," said Bluebell, feeling stupid, "I knew that." "No you didn't, Bluebell, you're just saying that so you don't look stupid!" argued Blabberwort. "No I wasn't!" he argued back. They continued to argue unaware of the prisoners, and completely oblivious to the fact that they might have been listening in.

Kristina satlooking at the fire in her aggitation, mumbling to herself about every way she could possibly support her detestation fo the people who tied them up. "...stupid vines... stupid creepy people.... stupid plant man.... " she continued on and on to her self until one name popped out of the conversation of their captors. "Logan" "Logan?" she looked at them quietly, her cry unnoticed due to her earlier mumbling. She stared at their backs listening to every word they said after his name. Turning to hre friends, she gave a look that asked if any of them had heard what they were talking about. "Hey weird bird man..." she whispered, "Did you hear what the guys over there were saying just now?" after all, he was the native, maybe it was a common topic and it was just coincidence; maybe someone famous here had the same uncommon name as her brother.
