Lance took the photo in hand to look at it and his eyes grew wide.
"My god...you are Charlie's daughter eh?" Lance said as he gave the photo back. "Yes I did know your father when I was younger. He helped keep me out of trouble."
Lance found this to be most troublesome. He didn't want to put Raven in trouble but if Charlie was in trouble then how could he not help him.
"Tell me everything you know Karen." Lance said as he put his hand on Raven's shoulder gently.

Raven scooted closer to Lance. She looked from Lance to Karen and waited. Obviously this had seemed to upset Lance, and that upset Raven. She waited by his shoulder supportablely.

Karen just looked at Lance and Raven carefully before finally speaking. “He and I were both kidnapped. I was taken to a separate facility from him. I don’t know the captors other than that it was the military and I escaped. They have not chased me down, but I do not know what faction took him. I do not know who or why they would take my father and not return him…They ran tests on us…on me…” Karen said the last words almost like she had been violated bodily.

"I see...if Charlie was taken it must have been a formidable force considering the training he has gone through in the past. Is there anything you can remember from the people who took you like an insignia or maybe a patch on their clothes." Lance asked Karen hopeful to get info from her. He was sorry about what happened but he was hoping something could help him.

“A hawk…holding a gun.” Karen looked at Lance carefully as she then pulled down her shirt collar to reveal something the military left her. No collar was on her neck, but a mark. "They branded me with this. I hope this is of better help." It was a tattoo that they had applied with their insignia on her neck. She would look at the ceiling so that they could get a better look at her neck. The mark was usually well hidden by the turtle-neck she wore.

Laurell narrowed her eyes at Rage and huffed, "you know damned good and well I dont follow fairy tales and legends Rage, so just cut to the chase with this chicka for me." She nodded her head as she heard him say he was going ot let her wake up. "Fine Rage, just tell me this, what exactly is she going to bring to our family that has Zeni so damned excited about her?"

“Plenty Laurell, more than you could ever expect. Ever hear of natural healing magic? Hers is beyond even my own abilities. I might be a doctor, but she can out shine me. If she gathers all the feathers however and we keep her from dying, she will be all that much more powerful as a person on the inside and magically speaking. It exists Laurell. Laurell, I use it on the patients here in the warehouse, you should know that by now.”
Solzeni only grinned her toothy grin as she looked at Laurell. “And remember Laurell, I’m not human as well when you met me. So, that whole not believing in fairy tales bit will have to go sailing out the window. As to something, we have a slight problem. Godric has a prisoner with him we need to deal with after we handle this chick first. She’s waking up.”
Nyma did indeed begin to wake up as she looked about her. People she didn’t know save one Doctor Rage or someone she knew as Hashel surrounded her. She was sure that she was going to be attacked but when she wasn’t her heart beat relaxed considerably which relieved Rage when he thought he would have to knock her out again. Nyma just looked between Laurell and Solzeni from where she laid. Her fingers touching the oxygen mask on her face.

Godric hopped lightly to his feet and made his way to the door. Opening it, he said, "Hang tight, darlin'. I'll be back in a bit." He closed the door behind himself and went down to the medical bay.
Godric was smiling as he surveyed the scene. "Ah," he began, "she's awake now. I can see why Amos wants to look after such a pretty young thing." He turned to Solzeni. "He's still in my office, by the way, awaiting your inquiry. He'll co-operate nicely."
Not wanting to leave anyone out, Godric bowed to the other two with a simple "Evenin', doc, boss."

Laurell listened to Rage and nodded but when he started talkin of magic she paid no attention, she never did, he had reasoned with her the other womans use to them. "whatever, I dont give a damn about magic just make her understand she's either with us or dead." she siad bluntly to him and gave her friend a scowl.
"Zeni, shut up," she said with a shake of her head, "You follow that crap I dont care, just translate it for me when needed." Her eyes grew icy when she heard mention of a prizoner and only nodded agreeing with Zeni about dealing with the prisoner.
Stepping to where she could see the entire room as well as keep her back to where there was no window or door she watched the woman wake and slowly stepped closer to her. She saw how she was reacting and said quietly, "Just relax chicka, Rage aint gonna let s**t happen to ya."
When she heard Godric come in she nodded her head to him in greeting. She gave him a look in the eyes that plainly said they needed to talk. But that would wait till they were done with the woman here. She would either live or die today and the choice was all on the waking woman.

"Amelia please access the internet and get any information you can about this symbol." Lance said saddened by the branding.
"Yes Papa. Accessing overhead satellites now." Amelia said as she closed her eyes. After a few minutes of what looked like Rapid Eye Movement Amelia opened her eyes. "I have hacked into the government database papa. The organization is known as teh Tally Hawks. Originally They were a mercenary group trained by the government for special operations but were disbanded due to becoming rebellious."
"Disbanded due to becoming rebellious? Is there any information on who was in the Tally Hawks?" Lance asked Amelia concerned.
"I am sorry papa. That information is stored in a location I can not access via satellite." Amelia said apologetically.
"That's alright. Is there any chance you can take me back to where they were keeping you Karen. I won't ask you to go in with me but I am going to try to find some more clues." Hiro said addressing Karen as calmly as he could. He was not happy to have to put the girl in danger.

Raven blinked, again amazed by the show Ameila put on. "Wow Ameila, wonderful job! That's amazing!" Raven had expected her to be on a computer at least. She looked up at Lance. "May I go in with you?" she asked, "I would rather not leave you to it alone." Raven blushed and smiled up at him. "I do have some fight in me!"

Nyma wanted to remove the mask on her face so much. She was panicking as she looked at Laurell. She tried to even look carefully enough at everyone around her. When the new person arrived her heart began to beat faster which made Rage put her back to sleep for a short time.
“She’ll be of use to you Laurell, but for now I think she’s frightened of all of the people around her. Something happened to this girl. I don’t know what, but I’m better enough to frighten her. You’ll have to be more delicate than usual.” Rage would let Laurell know that she couldn’t be her normal forceful self with Nyma.
Solzeni would narrow her eyes at Godric when he came in. “Yes, that’s her and now she’s back to sleep cause she saw you. We had her calm. What of the prisoner I slammed into the wall. What is the information on him?”
Karen nodded a little. “I think I can remember the location. It might be a little difficult for me though. My memory is vague because they had me blindfolded going there, but escaping it was a tunnel and a swim to get away.”

Godric shrugged at Solzeni's comment. "If I knew it was going to happen," he said, "I would have waited. As for Amos, I used to work alongside him back in my military days. He was discharged for acting without orders. Since then, he's apparently been more or less a hired hand, taking whatever job came his way, provided it wasn't against his morals. Our organisation was big on morals." With a smile, he added, "Amos also appears to have grown quite attached to our little angel."

A sly grin ran across Karasu's face as he continue to watch the guards of the warehouse act like the fools they are. He hawked and spat onto the heads of all three of them and quickly pulled his head back. The trio looked up as that spat landed to see nothing around, Karasu was rolling back and forward on the trying to hold back on laughing, letting a snicker or two escape.
