a lot of these sites have sections for Sims1 games too, you should be able to find a load of stuff!

Parsimonious

this is one that i know has sims1 stuff on it, they have a whole host of stuff from gorgeous right through to rediculous, there's definitely something for every possible style of sim on this site 3nodding

Thanks! smile That site has some awesome things for the game. I noticed when I was looking through some of the different Sims 1 downloads, they had the whole set for download or each piece could be downloaded separately. Some of the whole sets required Sims, Livin Large, and Hot Date but each piece separately only required a certain one... like the bed had Sims beside it or a dresser had Livin Large beside it. So, I assume I only need to look for the ones listed for Sims or Livin Large, right?

yep, though to be honest, if an item looks like it's been made from an original Maxis object that you have in your game i'd give it a shot even if it says you need a certain EP for it to show up.

i've downloaded a ton of stuff for the sim2 ( though not as much as Lizzy ninja ) some of which specified that it needed University but they often show up anyway, so the best of luck and have fun! 3nodding

I have never played the Sims. Many moons ago I was addicted to those Tycoon games, Roller Coaster, Monopoly and Zoo 3nodding I still have them around here somewhere, someday I might decide to play again 3nodding

I downloaded a whole bunch of things from welldressedsims.com today... mostly bathroom rugs and towels. I haven't installed any of it yet though cause I'm afraid I'll find some way to screw it up, and my whole computer will blow up sweatdrop
I wanted some of the cute curtains, but I don't guess I can use them on the versions I have. Maybe I'll buy myself a couple of EPs for my birthday next month 3nodding

fawN is the girl to ask about sims1 things, i didn't know you could download stuff until i started hanging out here rolleyes so i don't have anything for the original games, and with some much sims2 stuff on my PC i think it would explode if i loaded the Sims up too! which is a bit of a shame as i bought a 4 disk pack with the sims double deluxe and house party on it and it just sits in a drawer now rolleyes

do you want it Deniece ninja it wouldn't cost much for me to post it to you and the House Party disk will give you a few extra bits and bobs.

If you're sure that you aren't going to use it, I'd love it heart Of course, I'd be willing to reimburse you for the costs to you, just let me know smile

I love that dress! I haven't been through many of the clothes to download yet, but I found a really good site this morning that had living room suits and bedroom suits... *goes to look for it*... here it is. There were alot of cute things there... even quilt racks which I hadn't seen before.

Oh, noooooooooo, all my downloading and interest in the Sims had to do with the orginal Sims 1 games/EPs. (I was even bestowed with the honor of being a staff person on a very popular Sims site, back in 'the day' redface )
I have never downloaded for Sims 2, as I have never been really interested in it.
My time, days, money, screen (SIMlizzy?) names invested all went with my passion for the original games.
Cassie, however loves the Sims 2 series but she is already behind by a couple games, and quite upset that her birthday is over 6 months away and she cannot seem to get m interested, as she knows if I liked the games the EPs would be bought the day they were released rofl

you're more than welcome to my Sims game Deniece, i haven't played on it for over 2 years and i got it in the sales in the first place so i won't be out of pocket, if you want to PM me your address and i'll get it in the post to you 3nodding

i didn't realise all your Simming was on the original games Lizzy, my problem is i'm not very good at playing the game properly, i find it hard to control more than one person, so i ran out of game play on Sims1 as there weren't enough people in the end for my Sims to make friends with so they couldn't get promoted rolleyes
i prefer sims2, especially as someone has made a spiral staircase for the game now! it also doesn't seem to have the odd little glitches that Sims1 does, one of my original Sims used to take her dirty dishes outside and hide them behind a bush confused

i didn't realise that The Sims Resource has Sims1 downloads too, they're well worth a look, it is a subscription site, you can only view a certain amount of their archive for free, but i'm fairly sure the free stuff i rotated round so you get to see it all eventually, and there are 1000's of free files to choose from 3nodding
plus they have a search facility which comes in handy when you're onlt looking for bedding or rugs or something like that 3nodding

i LOVE Rollercoaster Tycoon, i have the original but it's too old for my pc now and crashes all the time, i want the second game, my Mum bought me the third in the series last Christmas, it's totally different to the first 2, great 3D graphics and lovely music and so on, but none of my well honed strategies for the first game work on it sweatdrop
i resorted to finding a help site for it because my park wasn't making any money( you can't charge to get in on most of the parks) and it said there that you had to totally rethink how you played compared to the old games, you can still pick up persistent pukers and drop them in lakes though twisted rofl
