jellysundae oh i'm sorry i didn't capitalise you! i can never remember who does and who doesn't sweatdrop i've only recently discovered the gradient text maker on Tektek, so i thought i might as well put it to good use! It's ok! I actually went through my friendslist yesterday and corrected the caps on everyone's names in there when I added buffyhowe and changed ghostie's, as some caps weren't right. Looks like you kept all the others correct, I think! 4laugh I remember bipper showed me a gradient text maker site, but then it was no longer accessible when I checked a while back. Glad tektek has one now. Thanks for the head's up!

MysticfawN jellysundae ah yes, it worked. i found i didn't need to view their house either, just copied Flutter's link and changed the number 3nodding Exactly. Just paste the profile number at the end of the house url. There's no easier way at the moment. Yeah I did notice I could no longer add friends in when I did someone's house.. I forget whose. *off to re-view some member homes again!* 4laugh thats what i was trying to say....lol...i now know i dont know how to describe anything at 6 in the morn with only haveing 2 hours sleep rofl ...lol

MysticfawN And ghostie, there was a link on the links thread to your old house, but it was empty, so I linked it to your new one (which is also empty! LOL) I dont have a house....cant afford it. I'm just working on getting all the clothes I want

roocee I thought the houses were free and just the expansion is costly. yeppers houses are free...expansion costs 20k eek (which i still dont think is worth it even tho i forked out the gold for mine)...but i think ghostie might be saying she wants the clothes before she has to furnish a house xd

Y'all saw the announcement, I'm sure? NPC Cindy Donovinh Homes Reservations Expiration All Homes Reservations in towns will expire on Monday, August 14! Normally, reservation lasts for 24 hours, but because of a bug, reservations have not been expiring. ALL of those spots will open up and it will be first come first serve. On a happy note, we have some enhancements coming to Homes very soon. 3nodding " It would be a great time to finally reserve some of these neighborhoods! But my only worry is that the systems will be so swamped with people trying to do so that friends won't be able to get in to actually claim their spots in the reserved purkle neighborhoods in time! But also.. with the start of school being last week, this week, and next week for many places, it might not be THAT busy. I guess we'll see! Shall we try to reserve some purkle/sweet/wicked neighborhoods tomorrow, or wait for the rush to die down and hope it isn't all filled up again?

there are a LOT of empty lots in towns, as i know from my regular forays after bugs, i like the look of the lot right down in the furthest corner of the map, as far right and down as you can scroll 3nodding

Poppetta there are a LOT of empty lots in towns, as i know from my regular forays after bugs, i like the look of the lot right down in the furthest corner of the map, as far right and down as you can scroll 3nodding You mean just the layout of that lot? Or that ACTUAL lot? Because when you reserve a neighborhood for your friends, I don't think you can choose where you go. But if you want to hope there's an empty space in that lot, even if you wind up with people you don't know, go for it!

I think that we should try to grab a couple blocks and sort it out once we have them secured. Although not *everybody* in my troupe may end up with their own home, I'd at least like one for this account. I'm not certain what I want to do about Orange, Taffy, Pixy and any others just yet. wink Do we have a plan to stalk out the reservations center?
Also- because of the announcement, I'd venture to guess that tomorrow will be extremely busy with everyone trying to reserve lots... BUT if they all really do expire within 24 hours, success may come for us later in the week...

Unless there's some requirement that the person who reserved the lot will still have it, but the empty spaces will just open up, but that if all lots are reserved tomorrow, THOSE won't expire and there won't be whole lots to reserve after 24 hours. I'm not sure the intricacies about whether or not the person who reserved it must actually go into towns and place their home, otherwise the whole lot is available for someone else's reservation after 24 hours? I know for sure it's that way for the other 5 spaces in there. I guess we'll see! I'll try to snag one if I can, but if none of the other 5 friends can get towns to load and claim their spaces within 24 hours, that will be sad.

Josie There are no free neighborhoods to reserve. Sorry about that. I forgot to try earlier today. Towns is accessible for me though, and I can pick flowers and whatnot right now.

There are 3 spaces left in 2 adjoining lots! Some of us are standing guard until more purkles can snatch them up, and I think bipper said she grabbed 2 and can move if someone else wants 1 of them.
