((Hm. I should brainstorm for a plot-twist. Give me time, I'll thinka sommat.))
New parts, improved parts, could always improve anything, this was true. Cyrus knew that there were more important things than improving such a beauty that needed it not, but he really couldn't resist thinking about it. The engine was very... awe-inspiring.
((All right, got it. Tell me, how morally-sound are the Baron Mercs? Would they take on a task for the sake of good everywhere, or will they refuse to work without pay?))
((What about loyalty and internal-bonding? Would they do a job for revenge instead of cash?))

((The mercs are a close knit group, they're a family, if you join them then you always will be family. They try to stay on the good side, they don't take jobs that would hurt innocents, and they will try and help the good side. If their friends are in trouble, they'll bring their whole force to bear to help them. If one of them has a problem everyone will help out with it. Cash is easy to get but friends are a lot harder.))
Rat nodded quickly, "All right, you could work in the gun cage I guess, or the hangar, we could always use more engineers."
Zain grinned, looking back at Rene, "That's right, by the way how's the new software coming?" He asked.
Rene smiled, "It's almost done, should be able to download it around the same time the parts get here."

Rat looked down at the table for a moment, "Then things changed right? Well maybe things have changed again." He smiled at Nerd, it was a strange greasy smile but it was still kind and warm-hearted.

Cyrus stepped away and turned from the engine. New software? So the engine was improved by technical means as well. Unless Cyrus was just completely, utterly, epically failing to grasp and follow the train of thought and concept.

"She's beautiful," Cyrus answered honestly. He knew that he would enjoy sitting down with Rene (it was Rene, not Zain, who is the mechanic?) and having a nice and long discussion involving mechanics of all kinds. That would be totally, utterly and epically boring to this writer.

Rene grinned, "Good, glad you like it, me and Zain built her together, maybe he can show the blue prints in a few days."
Zain laughed, "Maybe." He said grinning.
