Suiyobi nudged Yume towards the forest. "I am not sure what accommodations you are used to for the night, young ma'am, but we had better be on our way if we want to sleep at all this night." he said, beginning a slow walk into the forest. He pushed stray tree branches from his face, and searched through the dark foliage for a resting place.

Kyoji smiled and laughed. "None know what the future may hold." Kyoji said softly. His hand had been resting on Kotetsu's hilt. His old sword felt so familiar in his hand, and with Muramasa sealed until he could get rid of it, it made him feel more confident in himself, especially around Cho and Ayaka. He no longer had to be afraid of Muramasa taking him over in battle or in his sleep.
As Ayumi walked through the forest path, she felt a powerful pain well up all over her body. The pain soon became incredibly intense, and she felt her strength drain from her. No! Not now Murasame! The words rang through her mind, but were barely faintly audible compared the voice of Murasame.
You foolish woman! Murasame said. You missed your opportunity! You could have taken your revenge! The sword muttered bewildered.
Ayumi shook her head, My business is my own! Stop it! I order you! She commanded. Murasame did not heed the command and continued to drain Ayumi's strength and energy. Her eyes began to fade to blackness and the pain was unbearable, but she would endure. She would never, under any circumstance scream, and refused to even shed a tear. Ayumi soon passed out and fell to the ground.

The child smiled at him. "I hope that you will be my father someday, momma likes you, I like you too." She giggled.
Cho lay a finger over her daughter's lips to quiet her. She lowered her mouth to her daughter's ear. "You know too much for your own good my child." she whispered smiling at Ayaka. She sat back up again and scratched her daughter behind the ear. "Please dear, rest."
"But momma, I didn't get to finish my food." She said sadly.
Cho laughed. "Then let me get you some more food before bed, alright dear." she said dishing the food into a bowl for her daughter.

Kyoji smiled. The child had a good nature, and had sweet disposition. Encouraging words, indeed. He thought. "A good rest after a good meal is good for a growing child like you. When I was your age we were lucky if we had such a nice meal before bed." He said with a smile.

Ayaka blinked. "I'm sorry to hear that Kyoji-san. Why was that, can I ask?" she asked looking between her mother and Kyoji.

"I could work it into an interesting bed time story..." Kyoji said with a smile. "Well eat up while I spin you the tale!" He said. "When I was a young boy, I was born into a very poor family of farmers. They were too poor to afford their own lands, and had to work the fields of a rich person in exchange for a home, but the landlord was mean. No matter how much his workers did, he would let them have very little to keep for themselves to eat. When I was born, they had to hide me in a shack in a nearby swamp away from the rich man's property, because he wouldn't allow anymore people into his service, and would send the children away to who knows where. So my mother would visit me in the shack and sneak me the food that they good." He said. Though most of what he was saying was true, he told it to her like a fairy tale. "But years later, I was old enough to leave the shack and go to a nearby town to get food on my own. One day as I was walking through the swamp, I saw a light glint in the corner of my eyes. I went over to investigate and saw that it was a piece of metal. I started to dig into the ground, working for ours and hours until I finally saw what it was. Under the dirt in the swamp was a sword that had been dropped by some warrior long ago.... and we'll have continue that story for another time!" He said with a grin.

Toki heard the thump of something fall below him. He scrambled down the tree until he landed on the ground. His tongue flicked, and he walked swiftly but silently towards a figure on the ground. He gasped, "Miss?" then picked her up. Toki carried her back to where he remembered Cho, Kyoji and Ayaka to be at. "Help! Need help!"

Ayaka had started out the story eating, but as she story progressed she had set down her bowl and moved from her mother's lap to the ground where she had begun scooting closer and closer to Kyoji. Her eyes were wide with with excitement. "No! No, you can't do that!" she said jumping to her feet. "Please Kyoji-san, keep going!" his grin only made it worse. She wanted to know more. "Is the sword the one right there?" She asked pointing at Muramasa, the undrawable sword.
Cho jumped to her feet. "Kyoji, isn't that the woman who was here not too long ago?" Cho asked as she backed away from the bed roll she had been sitting on. "Please lay her down here."

Toki placed Ayumi extremely cautiously on the bed roll, although he put her feet on the pillow. He turned towards Cho, "Will be alright?"

"I really hope so." Cho said worriedly, "Did you see what happened to her? Kyoji, do you have any ideas?" she asked him as she kneeled over the woman checking her vitals.

Gouki scratched his head at Mara's question.
"Yeah I suppose you can say that sis. Imagine a headband but made of harder materials you place upon your brow. Sakura's headdress sounds like its made of some rather nice materials.

“It’s made of metal, pure metal but while it was made my powers was placed into it staining it strange hues so that should anything happen to me. I might be able to withstand anything that attacks me. I need that headdress now more than anything. It's like a sakura petal.” Her words were longing as she looked at Gouki and Mara. “When we’ve all rested more, shall we perchance travel together a bit. Perhaps the temple will cross our paths.”

Gouki nodded in agreement.
"Rest is best for now. Once you are rested your concentration should improve and thus your control of your power until we can get your headdress." Gouki said calmly.
