It felt as if something may have been done correctly on that attempt, but the truth was that it was hard to tell if she couldn't see herself doing it. "I need a way to see my reflection", she thought. The four bunshin that stood around her seemed to also be in thought as Amaya looked about the area of the gorge. And then she saw it. Her eyes blinked in realization and she wandered over to a tall slab of stone jutting up through the snow covered earth. The side of the stone was coated wit ha thick layer of ice. As she approached it, Amaya could see that her reflection, along with that of her clones, could be seen, though the picture was rather hazy. It was better than nothing. "This will work..."

The young genin took enough steps back away from her "ice mirror" to give herself some room to work with. Conjuring the clones from scratch was an essential part of the surprise element this jutsu had in its favor, but to conserve chakra, Amaya was content to work with the four bunshin she had already created for the time being. Blades already in hand, she opted to try the jutsu with another favored attack strike; the cross-slash. So she ran forward to build up a bit of momentum, then jooked to the left and the right. She brought her arms up to cross one another over her chest, then lept forward to one knee, thrusting both arms outward in a double slice through the thin, cold air. The bunshin followed her moves exactly and she watched her clouded reflection carefully to see if the desired timing was achieved.

giglamesh

Beloved Lunatic

PostPosted: Tue Apr 07, 2009 11:28 pm

The crowd have very rapidly dispersed, a decent distance around and way from giglamesh as he stood on the water's after he had broken and shattered the ice surfaces for a decent distance away from him being the center point. The ice was shattered under the sheer violent power of his futon diatoopa...which he wished was stronger, but he wasnt applicable to learn wind elemental chakra as of yet. He had that same look on his face, no grin a look that lacked all emotions, yet even though it seemed to lack emotion, this look was frightening it was so serious it seemed deadly just looking at it. Giglamesh turned his head from side to side ever so slightly eye eye almsot looking as if it was bouncing as it counted the clone thats laid on the ground and were starting to get up, there were a bunch of them missing, then he looked downwards to the water surface the only reflected himself and the cloud gloomy sky. Giglamesh looked back up at raisuke, if he noticed giglamesh had looked at the water then he probably already knew giglamesh figured out his attack before he even done began it. Giglamesh would begin to reach his right hand up pointing his chop sickle seemingly directly at the real raisuke, but instead of pointing his hand continued up and back to his radio which it turned the volume up a great deal more, then that beat started boom boom boom. It was shinedown's "the sound of madness". Giglamesh would begin to tap his foot on the surface of the water twice a second making a small shock wave as he did to the beat, at the same time it was as if his chakra was spiking making that shockwave even larger with his chakra as well as he would begin to tap his foot harder and harder with the beat beginning to beat his head to the music as well as his right foot The steam would begin to profusely drift around him from the light breeze, the music blaring from his radio, beginning to move to the music.

The the second the lyrics began Yeah i get it your a out cast, Rai's clone began to rush out from the water under neath where giglamesh stood after breaking apart the ice around that area. The first two tried to impale giglamesh foot, which just as he was doing before with the beat of the music he bounced his foot upward and pulled his leg up as he leaned back and would then push off with his left kicking it up to match up with his right then straightening up his body and tucking his feet in to land perfectly, then as the other came in with there slashes it was weird they were that fast, but before they seemed to be moving at a faster pace than this and giglamesh knew and could tell they were moving faster then they were before, but in his eye it was like they were moving in slow motion. Two would slash at his torso and body he would then pull back his right shoulder and push his left forward while leaning back bringing his the chop sickle tip to the surface of the water. At the needle like tip hit it left the tiniest ripple and he would literally pull his leg off the ground turning and twisting his body between there attacks, then with his legs upward he would separate them almost like the split kicking right one forward and left back causing his body to spin on that tiny needle point much like a break dancer, but instead of doing a hand stand he was standing on a needle using his incredible chakra control to balance himself. Yet each of his move was still matching that bass to the music that two beats a second, rai's clone were synchronized, but giglamesh truly looked like a dancer evading those attacks as well as matching the beat perfectly. As more attack came in clone from that first wave, he would tuck his right arm and as he would spin around he would tuck leaning his bod backward to slide his left foot around to literally land on one of the slashing blades of the clone which he would tuck forwards leaning is and roll off his blade and cork screwing threw the air between two more additional attacks, he would use his metal guards on his forearms not only to block them, but use the force from there slash to increase the speed of his corkscrew spin. Which he would hand both palms down on the water's surface spinning kicking his legs around by lifting one hand turning on opposite wrist some then placing other hand down and doing same, legs violently whipping around like helicopter blades, yet even as these kicks whipped around so violently every time a foot or leg would come at a clones head giglamesh purposely lifted and moved his limbs to not hit them. Finally he would bring his upper body and head closer to the ground before pushing off pushing self in the air as if he had jumped to avoid a few more slash from the first wave of clones, literally landing his feet on one's shoulder, but he tucked forward and rolled off his back and across ground two times like a ball back to his feet, but do to the way it was initiated the clone may of never even felt that giglamesh even touched it because he distributed his weight by rolling off him.

Then several more rushed in, and while they seemed to be moving fast, if giglamesh wanted to he could just walk threw them picking them off one at a time with incredible ease, but why were did it seem like they were going so slow? As the second wave that was blown away like rag dolls, rushed in, instead of letting them all rush and attack him from all sides at once it would take the better odds of rushing at them he would come two two that were rearing back to ready to slash, but giglamesh literally grabbed there blade mid slash and kind or just hoped over them like a fence twisting in the air to land legs sprawled out, left palm on the water surface. The other kept moving at giglamesh then two he leapt over tried to retaliate but giglamesh just ducked under the slashes with ease and hoped like a frog back over them arms out to side legs tucked up at his chest, as more tries to slash it him full power he would land his foot on there blade tuck in and literally use there arm and extend sword like a plank to roll down the clone to land feet planted securely back on the water's surface. With his feet planted and multiple more clones began to slash at him in place he would turn and twist his body from side to side, back and forth , in every which way, some ways thats dont even seem natural avoiding there large amount of slashes. Yet he evaded so many strikes he did so with out ever moving his feet (think when the agent avoided the gun fire on first matrix), but then he barely saw it was clone tried to slash at his extremely quickly body, but from power kept bringing his sword down at his stationary right leg. The giglamesh would suddenly and violently lean back while kicking his right leg full force at the chin of that clone before it accidental hit him. Th kick had such force it should literally rip up threw the clones jaw and up ward most likely taking off its entire face, the same thing would probably happen if giglamesh really did this to somebody. From that kick and leaning back he brought his fot back around and began to stand upright, he slid on his heel of his left foot kicking as his did a full rotation with out his left foot leaving the ground. Not only did that maneuver take incredible skill to pull off, it took just as much fines. It would of been something incredible to see, it the on looker wasent raisuke watching the face of his clone being kicked/ripped/exploded off.

But as more slashes came in he would literally take his right hand against the back on one of the attack clones wrist and use it like a wall to literally roll and flip over the clones shoulder landing his feet on the should of another which he would then back flip off of it landing behind it, before hand springing back two more times, to move himself away from the incredibly clone crowded area. But as he landed from those hand springs the muscles in his legs tensed incredibly hard incredibly fast for a moment, and the pain was shown on his face and he bore his teeth clenching his teeth together in pain, it seemed that using the fire elemental chakra recomposotion to warm his body while it seemed as if it made him more flexible than normal like he had stretched incredibly good before fighting, it seem to be taking a tole on his muscles as well, But he didnt have time for pain the clones had turned and were rushing again. As the first one came in he would move at it but it was as if his legs were rebelling against him and he was barely able to shift to the side of the clone as they ran at each other, and it had managed to ever so slightly cut his left side, and he stumbled slightly directly at another which he would spin on his heel to avoid its slash but just like the first it also cut him ever so slightly at the bottom of the right side of his chest. However as he spun the pain was decreasing and as a multitude of more attacks came it at giglamesh as he was literally rushing a crowd of water clones giglamesh would shift from side to side, jump in the air slide under the clones, jump over then, several different way he would just disappear and reappear on basically the opposite side of the attack, only small flumes of steam were left as a trail as if weaved in and out back and forth between each of there attacks to end up the opposite side of all of them, the real raisuke in front of him, behind him the mass amount of clones.

The most almsot supernatural thing was every movment, ever dodge, flume of steam matched the beat of the song nearly perfectly. With the exception of the ever so slight moment of pain where he lost his movements ever so slightly, it was so fast that rai had no hope of seeing that his movements had made a mistake at those moment of pain, because giglamesh was moving so fast he basically left a path of fog from the steam coming off his body, as he stood in front of rai he would just wait for a moment, then suddenly he would breath out a marge flume of steam like a steam powered engine from his mouth at the ground, because with all that movement because he was moving so fast he couldn't really take a breath or hold on in causing the possibility of his puffed out chest getting hit by a stray blade. They were incredibly hard to see because of his coat, but giglamesh had two more cut on his body, still he was not bleeding however. But if giglamesh was still keeping count correctly the boy had managed to make it up to eleven hits, he was actually more than half way done. But now it would probably shift to be more of a uphill battle for him as fatigue ad frost would begin setting in on the boy.

Well damn. There went another one. Slowly but surely Raisuke's amount of clones were falling victim to either Rai's need for more training, Giglamesh's violent attack or just the sheer mixture of bad weather conditions and bad luck. But Raisuke couldn't help but to watch this display of athleticism by his sensei. During this fight at certain points.. Rai couldn't tell if Giglamesh was an acrobat or a shinobi. It was actually amusing really. At the beginning Giglamesh had been looking around as if he were trying to assess the situation. Was there some way of him knowing where Rai was coming with this? Rai had thought he damn near perfected his art of stealth with his attacks that had to do with water. He didn't have as much control over his water as Giglamesh did Taijutsu though, obviously. Rai wanted to understand why or how Giglamesh was so strong. He was only a Chuunin and Raisuke knew that.. but he seemed so much stronger. Every time Rai grew in strength or learned something new it seemed like the gap didn't close. It was as if the gap slowly was still growing. For every couple of steps that Raisuke took it seemed that Giglamesh was taking two. Rai then wondered if he was just growing in strength slowly... was Shinratsu and Shizuka growing at the same pace or were they gaining strength alot faster then him. It was really maddening to think about.

Then the next thing that Rai knew, it seemed like Giglamesh was raising his hand to point that weird looking ice claw at him. But then the hand had just continued to Giglamesh's radio. And Raisuke remembered this from one of his first training sessions. Giglamesh liked to keep the rhythm going during his training by moving to the beat and vibrations of the music. He had even tried to make Raisuke and the others do this once upon a time. Most likely thinking that what worked for him would inevitably work for his students as well. It had seemed to work for Rai somewhat.. but right now Rai needed all the concentration he could get so wouldn't be able to worry about it. Then Rai saw Giglamesh's pulsating of chakra with the music and instantly took it as a bad sign. Giglamesh was about to really do something that Rai wouldn't like. Giglamesh just lifted his foot in the air to avoid the blow? What the hell was Rai? A freaking insect to him? Then Giglamesh had started his unique way of dodging and moving around the clones attacks. Could someone so huge move with such a finesse? Raisuke's eyes were rapidly moving back and forth, to and fro. He was trying his hardest to follow Giglamesh's movements. But Giglamesh had to be using the body flicker technique.. didn't he? Because even though his chakra pattern was familiar to Rai now.. he still couldn't keep up. Perhaps it was just the cold getting to Rai? The real Rai tightened his fists as Giglamesh just seemed to roll off of his clone like it was a freaking table or something.

Then the second wave of Rai's little Mizu army came rushing in at Giglamesh. He had tried focusing in on the speed of the clones but it didn't seem to work. Giglamesh still didn't really seemed phased at all by them. He continued to roll off of them and do back flips over them. Wait... back flips over them?! Now this was getting ridiculous! Why did he have to just screw with Rai like this? He could at least look like he was trying. At this rate he just made Raisuke feel like a fool that was wasting his time. Like he was trying to cut a master sword with a piece of plastic cutlery. Then the real Raisuke reached to grab his throat. It looked as if his clone took at explosion tag to the face. Rai's reaction looked as if it were painful to watch even. After that Rai found it more difficult to concentrate. The scene of the exploding headed clone just would keep playing in his head in high speeds. As if he was seeing it every time that one of his clones slashed at Giglamesh. At this point Raisuke couldn't tell where Giglamesh was headed he could only tell where he had been. And not because of the steam trail he left either. But he could feel Giglamesh's presence and unsettling heat through his clones. His control was obviously getting high with the clones. Then Raisuke would get confused as to why Giglamesh had stopped in front of him. Rai would look up to try to read Giglamesh through thoughts and emotions that could be portrayed through ones eyes or their facial expressions.

Then the area around Rai's head would be surrounded by steam and warm breath. Why the hell did that big ogre just breath on me?! Raisuke would all the sudden get a veinpop on the side of his head. It was actually anger, just spur of the moment frustration. Because he just didn't understand it. He thought that Giglamesh was mocking him again, but this time in a slightly vulgar way by breathing in his face. Raisuke had no idea that he actually hit him with more then just the shuriken a while ago. "Sensei.. tell me something.. Is this training for me or just a mere workout for you?" That hint of frustration was in his voice still. His desire to cut Giglamesh was coming back slowly but surely. He was trying to fight it off. He knew that training with an ally there would be no place for anger there. He needed to stay calm and think up a way to hit Giglamesh again. His eyes would fall closed for just a second while he tried to formulate a plan. The question he asked would be a good or at least decent way to stall for a little time. Simple hack and slash tactics wouldn't work on Giglamesh.. or maybe they would. Some of the simplest tactics had a way to shine through the storm.

It would take a moment for him to think. Or at least it would have if he had any time to waste. He knew that if he took too long his sensei would know something was up. He might anyway.. but Rai didn't need to think about that or give Giglamesh enough of a chance to act upon those thoughts. With the time that Raisuke did have to think it seemed like the clones had completely recuperated and were ready to do as they needed to. They would be kind of surrounding Giglamesh in a crescent like they did originally. But it would be a little different this time. The clones seemed like they had paired off. One grabbed the others arm and spun around once, launching the other like a slingshot at Giglamesh. The first five had slid past Gig, shooting up a sheet of icy dust from the lightly snow covered ice. Creating a fog in the air that wasn't in his control. The next eight clones had come through it so fast it seemed as if they had just vanished and reappeared in the icy mist. Two of them trying to shove a ninjato right into the joints of Giglamesh's shoulders. Two more a little bit higher up trying to slash down vertically over Giglamesh's collar bones and down into the base of his neck. Two more of the clones had grappled the two higher clones ankles, using them like a pivot point on a swing to try and bring their feet to Giglamesh's torso with a thundering impact. The other two sliding in at Giglamesh's feet trying to bring their heels to his ankles in a sliding tackle type action.

By the time all of this had happened.. the reinforcements arrived. They were rushing in like small blurs. They were all low to the ground to avoid contact with as much wind as possible. They seemed to be weaving from left to right in a zig zag pattern. But Giglamesh would still obviously be able to see them. They were the distraction. Their were still five clones behind Giglamesh. Four of them rushed in. Two of them going for his calves and two of them going for the backs of the knees. Each of them slashing outward in their own unique motion and pattern to make them a little less detectable and traceable. The the last one would use the backs of the others to try to bring a knee to the back of Giglamesh's head by using the others like a stepping stool of small table to jump off of. As this happened, the other rushing clones would attack almost simultaneously. Trying to just get Giglamesh with small nicks and cuts with the tips of their ninjato. Not getting in too close so he wouldn't damage his own clones. Then the two clones in front would try bringing elbows up to Giglamesh's sides. The rest of the attacks would seem completely random. And like they were getting tired.

They all seemed tired for good reason. The real Raisuke that was overlooking all this seemed like he was sweat bullets. And since he was standing he was swaying like he might pass out at any given time. His vibrant shaded eyes had fallen back to their normal color. He was getting to where he was in need of a break. But he wouldn't tell Giglamesh that. He would sooner pass out in the lake before he would admit it. He still was the type to never admit defeat. That was one lesson that Giglamesh never did get really hammered into his head. And he might never get it to happen. But from Raisuke's profuse sweating he had removed his coat and it was sitting on the ground beside him. His skin was red. Not clear if it was from over exerting himself or from just being cold. But he was definitely striving to finish this training. That was for damn sure. But at what cost? Was he pushing himself too hard?

((i would learn to count your graces...you got ONE official hit, bad talk the die and youll probably get one 20 per attack phase.))

Giglamesh just stood there watching and waiting, steam was coming off and from inside his body, since he wassent moving the steam was slowly falling to the ground around him. Do to the cold air it almost made a small fog around his feet, he stood there hunched over right arm straight on to his left thigh as he breathed steam would seep out from his mouth, it was cold so steam came out from raisuke's mouth as well, but so much came from gig it looked as if he was smoking a cigar. He was no longer facing raisuke, but not facing his repositioning clones, with raisuke behind him. He turned because chances were if raisuke had a better line up between gig and his clones he may perhaps be able to formulate a better plan. But what was this, it was so cold, he could feel the cold air raking against his skin, but for some reason his skin nor any of his body was cold, did it have something to do with applying his fire elemental chakra recomposotion to his chakra network? Giglamesh didnt know the reason but the second this was done he was surely going to go do some observations to check and see out what was happening. He heard the boy speak, and looked at him...but he didnt not answer.

He saw how they were positioned, they were going to attack in individual groups, but something was fishy about there set up. Suddenly when the group launched several clones in giglamesh direction he only every so slightly side stepped to his left to evade a incoming clone, which unfortuanly for the clone that was also heading at raisuke, as it came closer to raisuke it would split down its center from head to groin, giglamesh had slashed it in passing with that chop sickle. Even such a slight move, a small evasion yet it was never seen it was just like a flash of light he was one place and then he was another a cloud of steam replaced where he was and falls off him from where he is. Then as eight more quuckly rushed in, they came in incredibly quickly, but to gig in his current condition, it was still only like a running pace at him, and as they came in he literally counted them one at a time and identified there attack before they would close in on him completely. Then as each of the eight attacked, giglamesh didnt move, he didnt evade he just stood there right arm out and tilted along with body, left arm down and out, left leg up slightly, he had blocked and held each of the eight clones attacks off like childs play. the two that were aiming for giglamesh's collar bone, he used the chop sickle straight horizontal to act like a weapon to block both of there attacks. the two that were trying to hit giglamesh in the shoulder,s one blocked by his left forearm guard, one by his right forearm guard. The two which tried to use other clones to hit giglamesh in the torso one was also blocked by his left forearm guard, and one by his right forearm guard. The two that slid across the ground aiming for his ankles, the left one got caught by giglamesh's raised left leg, and could of very easily been stomped and destroyed, the other...giglamesh let his his ankle, but as it slid it would of been like sliding in to stone, giglamesh didnt budge or even shake in the slightest. "..Boy?.....you asked me if this was training for you or a work out for me.....what do you think it is boy?..." Giglamesh knew exactly what it was, it was training for him as well, but it was more for the boy. giglamesh could do this with stronger enemies so why waste his time doing this with raisuke? Because this was a huge training for raisuke, which he of course wouldnt realize it, but is was incredibly chakra control and clone usage. Rai would of had no hope of using his clones to the extent he was at this moment before this training, not only that before he would of had no hopes of using this many, or even making this many clones at a time. This is also what giglamesh wanted him to think, "....Eyes become more focused, were they dont know there goal....eye's that focus on a target lose sight of there surroundings..."

Suddenly it began a new song. "...One, two, three, go!" He said it right along with the beginning of drowning pools "step up." And right as he said it he would use his mass of muscles to push away all of the clones attacks he was still holding off, like he was pushing away smoke from in front of him (you can have those 6 clones destroyed if you want. If you dont want to...roll 6 extra chakra control check for each of them to survive) Then as the second wave cam in they went for lower target,s he didnt have to see them attacking from behind them, he would hear there style of running across the water's surface Giglamesh would back flip barley in time and bring his feet literally down on to the shoulder of the first two clones, and instead of using grace he would let the kinetic energy and his wright from the flip push them down in to the water (again if you want go ahead and break them, if not 2 more Chk Cnt checks), Then as the third and fourth clone came in he would push off the first two to literaly jump over and behind them, Of course even though it was a simple move it was doing with incredibly speed and precision. Then the fifth came leaping at giglamesh, leaping way off the ground to try and reach the top of the tower of giglamesh. To which giglamesh would bascaly just barely dodge it then he would literally reach behind the clone and lung it forward harder and faster than it was going before.

But then giglamesh calves tightened incredibly and it drug giglamesh down to one knee as he gritted his teeth, but he didnt have time for pain. Two more clone had rushed originally aiming elbows for his sides, but now as he had fallen they were aimed for his head. giglamesh just held out both of his palms to catch there elbows and with a slightly distortion of force he would move there elbows so instead both clones would basically go straight past him seemingly untouched. Even thought giglamesh was one knee with that last move, he made it look cool, it didnt look like he was in pain and forced to one knee from the pain, it would look more like just to be fancy he dropped to one knee to make deflecting there elbows even more dramatic. But what was this pain from, did it have to do with the steam and being so warm even in this cold climate? Giglamesh would stand back up, he had turned as he evade the series of blows so he was facing raisuke once again. then just standing there more attack started to come in, the first he had planed these were just erratic trying to throw giglamesh off, but he would just side step from place to place, move around there attacks, jumping over the clones, jukeing left and right evading all of there attacks leaving behind only the slightest hint of steam to show he was even there in the first place, and by the time he would see the steam he wassent there any more, the third series of attacks had come to absolutely no effect, none of them even got close to giglamesh. Then to top it all off, as the third phase of attack ended giglamesh still stood there looking at raisuke, like he had never moved, as it really didnt look like his body had changed position in the slightest, as he appeared the sam way, legs straight left arm behind back, right arm out finger and chop sickle up moving as if saying "come on" to raisuke trying to provoke him by taunting.

Rai's body was.. becoming worn down quickly to say the least. It was partially physical but mostly mentally. His sensei was definitely pushing the right buttons to exert all the energy he could out of Raisuke. Giglamesh seemed to pay no attention to the stress on Raisuke's face and that which was overtaking his body. He either didn't pay attention to it, or was going to try to pull it out even more. Either way it didn't really matter. Raisuke still had a job to complete in this training even if he ended up face down in the snow unconscious afterward. Even so he will probably still be thinking about that steam coming off of Giglamesh while unconscious or for days to come unless he was told what it was, or figured it out for himself. And Raisuke didn't like how Giglamesh seemed to position himself.. If Rai couldn't see his face then it would be even more difficult to judge his reactions or thoughts or even intentions. Not that it was easy in the first place.. but still, the extra difficulty made it borderline impossible at Rai's current level. And the fact that Giglamesh didn't answer Raisuke's question right away was kind of infuriating in itself. It was like he was ignoring him as a form of mockery. That b*****d.

When Rai's clones flew in it seemed as if Giglamesh was already completely ready for it and formulated a special defense just for each of his attacks. No matter the style. No matter the approach. No matter the varied speeds of his attacks or approaches.. it just seemed not to matter. Was there anything that could be done? As Raisuke proceeded in his attack, one of his clones seemed like it were sliced up the center like a boar at a butcher shop. But did Giglamesh even get that close to him? Or was it a small flaw in Raisuke's control over his chakra? That was possible since he was being pushed more toward his limit with every single passing moment. It was lucky for him that freezing water wouldn't hit him though, since his coat was off. It split just right to fly past him on either side of him. Just barely splashing back down on the ground as it cleared his coat. If it would have hit him or the coat it would have made for a damned cold remainder of this training. On looking Raisuke's eye twitched like he had a nervous tick in his right eye. This would be the only real hint of his anger or frustrating toward his sensei. Well.. more toward his sensei's actions.

As the rest of the front attacking clones came in flying at Giglamesh it would seem like even more of a mockery. Because he would no longer be dodging them. He was starting to simply block the attacks seemingly effort free. He had blocked with his left hand and then with his right. Then he seemed to repeat the action with the next two. Did he have to make it look so damned easy? Then it had come to a point where Giglamesh had a second to speak, answering Rai's question. Well.. somewhat answering anyway. This would do nothing but make Rai think for a moment as his clones had continued in their attacks. Could he be referring to the weather having taken effect on his body more then he could realize because he was too focused on hitting Giglamesh? Or was he more talking about the physical aspects of the training itself? Or possibly he was just say that not knowing the real answer was the best course for training to really attain a goal. His words were so vague.. and without attaining any true facts it was like he said 'figure it out for yourself'. Which it was obvious that is what Rai was going to have to do now. But as Rai was thinking about it, it seemed like Giglamesh's rhythm had changed. Then Giglamesh would just seemed to show a burst of strength almost looking like he drew energy from the music. All six of those clones went flying, one of them burst into water as it flew back, Raisuke having lost his control over it.

As more of Raisuke's clones came at Giglamesh it seemed like he had eyes in the back of his head. Because he just lept up and tried to come crashing down on them. Raisuke lost control over one of them. Causing it to get crushed like a mosquito under the gargantuan weight. But the other one had actually managed to roll out of the way and escape its fate of becoming an ice splatter. A slight moment later Raisuke would notice Giglamesh falling to a knee. He would quirk his eyebrows at this display before he noticed the intention of this. Then he couldn't tell if it was purposeful or accidental. Then Giglamesh gave him a little taunt, but Raisuke wouldn't let that phase him like it would have before. He actually took the time to lean over and pick up his coat and slip it back on over his shoulders. He took his time as a way to counter taunt his sensei. But it was all just a ruse to begin with. It gave him a second to recover his clones.

But before it even seemed that they were all up, Giglamesh would have shuriken flying at him from all directions. Even a couple of small cuts came flying through the side of Rai's arms. Blood streams flying through the cold wind. He had clones behind him and was taking hits to himself to try and hide some of the shuriken that were flying in Giglamesh's direction. He was going to try to get those hits in on Giglamesh before he completely hit his limit. He had to. He didn't want to pass out before mastering this control that Giglamesh was wanting him to focus in on. Before the shuriken would even get to him though, the clones were all rushing in. A couple of them ran past Rai in a high enough speed and close enough that his hood fluttered in the wind along with his hair. The hood was down and the violent nature that his chakra was starting to take destroyed the small tie that held it up. His hair was a little longer than shoulder length now, so there was quite a bit to fly around now. As the clones got in near Giglamesh, they all seemed to run around him in a circular pattern. In intervals trying to make slashes to his arms or chest or corresponding areas. But then, 3 of the clones would try to make thrusts at him with full strength. They were going for actual vital organs.

Raisuke was trying this whole time to just gain respect. That was as important to him as gaining strength. And if he could really hurt his sensei he figured that would show that he had grown stronger not just in battle. But mentally, as a person. "I think I get it. Now my time to talk is done.." His eyes were not facing Giglamesh now. They were off looking at the waterfall. While he said he got it, he was thinking of ways to strengthen himself further. Staring at the water, he was looking for patterns. The way it moved, the way it worked. Searching for answers for the destructive patterns in water. if there were ways beyond just crushing an opponent. Or if the water could be used in other ways. He would almost look possessed by it for a moment. Squeezing one of his hands closed in a tight fist. Not even realizing that it was making his shuriken wound bleed profusely.
