The lady in lace paused. "My neice Mocha is the daughter of my eldest sister and the owner of this tournament. Mocha is a blood mage, a necromancer, and a dictator. That man-- 'Guinness', he calls himself-- was a normal businessman in A.D.-era Earth, but after he was added to my brother-in-law's meat locker, Mocha turned him into a science experiment."

The lady in lace coyly pointed to William. "I heard he's a SUCCESSFUL science experiment-- fortified to be invincible. I fail to see how this is a fair contest. I'm a goddess, and he's more powerful than I am! Hmph."

"I heard," the lady said, "that he's got the blood of my father, my mother, and my niece-once-removed. Basically, immortality, super-strength, and, what I need-- invincibility." She fanned herself. "And it's contractual invincibility. The person who you love can kill you, as your heart is weak towards them. I heard that my niece-once-removed, the elixir of invincibility herself, was almost killed by the man she loved. It's a shock to us immortals, as we don't expect death. I fear it, as I'm not fortified..."

Welcome too my life He thought sarcastically. He knew he'd die one day, he just didn't know when, he accepted it, death was something that happened too everyone, he in fact had been the early cause of several thousand people.

[[bye!]] The lady in lace waved goodbye as she walked towards the hallways in search of her target. "Good-bye, friend! My name is Viola, by the way!"

William took Mocha's words to heart. For her to tell me to be careful, that new entry must be quite the fighter. Best to play it safe at first, and see just how tough she really is. He walked through the cafeteria's northeastern door, which led to the cemetary. He looked around, and saw plenty of corpses to suit his needs. [[Totally not what it sounds like]]. He began to recite the arcane chant that Mocha taught him, and his new troops groaned, stirred, and rose to their feet, numbering ten in all. These should make an adequate test thought William as he surveyed his handiwork.

Viola sneezed into a handkerchief that wasn't made of metal. "Oh, bother!" She looked around. "Where could that young man be?" [[He isn't young. XD He's not middleaged or anything, but...]]

William stood before his zombies, and adressed them. "You are to work as active reconnaisance to help me gauge the strength of one of my opponents. Find the woman in the lace, and attack her. Drag the fight out as long as possible, so I can learn as many of her tricks as I can. Now, go. I will follow behind you, and observe." And so, his shambling undead led the way out the door, soon followed by William, as they began the search for Viola.

Viola continued her search, and then went back to the cafeteria to sit when she was exhausted; her bulky clothing didn't make things easy, after all. "Hmm." She saw the skeletons out of her peripheral vision; she was a lady, she could act.

As soon as he saw his quarry enter the room, William ducked back into the Cemetary room, but the left the door open a crack, so he could still see. He cursed inwardly as his rusty armor rasped and creaked.
The skeletons walked toward Viola and raised their balled their hands into fists, since William had no time to get them weapons. When they had gotten within about ten feet, all of the skeletons stopped, save for one, who continued to advance. When within a couple of feet, it stopped, and waited for Viola to strike first.

Viola looked up from her resting, 'pleasantly surprised'. She placed down her parasol and cup of tea and, running down to certain areas of the room, stuck something invisible on the walls. Going back to her seat, she lifted up her cup of tea, and, smiling, took out a cello's bow, and, strumming an invisible string in the air, the bow's strumming side turned into a serrated edge, and, with a loud unraveling sound, Viola's plan went into motion. A razor-sharp piano cord had been placed around the room, and, in a split second, all ten of the skeletons were decapitated, and the other contestants were unharmed. She continued to drink her tea as if nothing had happened.

William didn't care a bit that his skeletons lost so easily. There will be time enough to observe her style as she fights her way up. I'm sure I can learn all I need to know by the time she fights me.

Viola finished her cup of tea and contently picked up her parasol as she walked back out in search of the 'young man'. [[HE'S NOT YOUNG.]] Viola sang a little tune to herself as she walked towards the hallways, content with herself.
