Well, kun, chan, sama, sensei, san, maru, etc those are exactly the same as "Mr", "Mrs", "Dr", "Prof" & things like that. You don't have to know anything about Japan to do that... if you want, I can get you a Japanese name though. It'll be in kanji & everything X3

San - さん - You say (in respect) to someone you hardly know, usually someone older than you (Like your friend's parent) but is also used to mean "Mrs", but only if you hardly know them. EX: Keiko-san (A friend XD)
Kun - くん 君 - You'd say to a young man, if you know them well (Sometimes towards young ladies, but rarely) EX: Hohe-kun (Me)
Maru - まる - You'd say to a young boy. Its basically kun, just younger EX: PJ-maru (A friend)
Chan - ちゃん - You'd say it towards a little girl, or someone you know extreamly well, like a cousin or someone. EX: Reido-chan (My brother)
Senpai - 先輩 - You'd use to refer to someone at school who is higher ranked, higher graded, or your superior. EX: Senpai-Hohe (Me, I don't have any superiors besides my sensei)
Kohai - 後輩 - You'd use to refer to someone at school who is lower ranked, lower graded, or your inferior. EX: Kohai-Reido (My brother, who is lower ranked, but same belt as I)
Sensei - 先生 - You'd use to refer to your teacher EX: Hira-Sensei (One of my teachers)
Sama - 様 - Is the formal of "San" indicating that you know the person well, just not so well that you'd call them "Chan" EX: Mira-sama (My mother)
Shi - 氏 - You'd use to call someone you know, just never met EX: Shi-Emma (My favourite actress)
There are a lot more, but I don't think you know any royalty or any of that, so its best not to say them, or else it would take all night to type/look up.

Oh yeah, what exactly do you want the name to mean? It could also be "Ashori" & I'll try to make up a name with that...
