((And to save Logan and Marie from boredom, skipping ahead a bit...))

Aki pushed more cold air around the bag with the icecream in it, to keep it from melting before she got out of the car along with Huilliame. They'd gotten to Logan's house fairly quickly, once they left the store. "Hurry up, you know he's about ready to tear his hair out by now." she said, glancing back to him and pushing the doorbell, waiting impatiently by the door for it to open and for Huilliame to reach her..

"Yeah, yeah. Keeps him on his toes." He said, following her along the path. He slammed the car door shut behind him and shifted to a less disturbing looking colour for his fur in the early evening light in this neighbourhood.
"Hey Logan! I got what you asked for! Now you better show up ready for work tomorrow!" He shouted, waiting for his friend to open the door.

Logan had gotten himself a cup of tea to calm down, which didn't help too much, and he nearly dropped it when the doorbell rang. "C-Coming!" he called, carefully setting the cup and saucer on the coffee table in the livingroom. He got to his feet and strode to the door, a hand running through his dampish hair a little. Opening the door, he blinked, then smiled a bit at Aki.

"Ah... hey, thanks." The Brit mumbled sheepishly, opening the door wider for the two to come in. "I, uh... got some nice dishes out, and napkins and such, but I wasn't sure of what else I should do... We've never really had a really nice dinner here like I would like to do for her..." he scratched at his head a bit as he spoke.

{{haha lovely dears, he he ^_^ but seriously sorry I have been sick sad ]]

Small tingles of frustration ran through her veins and Candice gripped her hair in her palms. Stepping away from Will and looking around she noticed one or two suspicious figures one of which seemed familiar. Though deciding not to approach him she stood quietly thinking this situation out in her mind. Now that she had a job, family, and her own life she didn't want ti jeopardize that. Feeling a prickle in her ears she could only slightly again. Lightening her eyes Candice smiled a bit calming down.

((Feel better, Melody. I'll leave it up to Candice whether she finds Fulgrim or not since Will isn't too knowledgeable on the signs.))

Hmm... she seems to be getting calmer. I suppose that is a good sign.. Will thought as he noticed her step away and her eyes change. He scanned the crowd, looking for the culprit. What was the sign for Deceit again? He knew neutral was equal, but only because it was simple to remember.

"Will..." Candice said, her voice still slightly slurred since she couldn't hear herself speaking. "A mutant did this? Are you the culprit? I haven't seen you in a long time and I don't know what you are capable of now. Are you....A Deceit?" She looked up and pulled her hands away and looked at him with a serious expression. Her hearing was getting better but everything still sounded soft and quiet. "If you are I am afraid I will have to turn you into the police." On the edge of her eyes she saw a familiar figure walking away. "Fulgrim?"

When getting to the park, Mal looked around for Fulgrim, an irritated look on her face. There were some people giving her a wary look as she tromped around. Some would look at it in irony- people being afraid of a short, annoyed-looking woman who didn't seem like she could do much damage to anyone. However, with the deceit symbol on her jacket, the irony disappeared.

Finally spotting the mutant, Mal grumbled under her breath. "Takes off on his bike, leaving us to take the stupid train... and then he causes trouble while we're searching for him." she didn't miss the massed confusion and irritatence coming from groups of people over by the nearby fountain. Tromping up to her cohort, the small woman crossed her arms over her chest.
"Enjoy yourself avoiding people on the train and getting here pretty fast?" she asked, sounding sarcastically casual.

((No clue rolleyes ))
"Hey, hold up, don't just walk up to me in a mob of angry people wearing that!", Fulgrim hissed quietly as he swung himself to the far side of a tree. With the tree at his back now between him and the crowd he began to talk, "I thought the idea was too just go out for a little fun, but seriously Mal we're gonna get mobbed if you fly the flag in this crowd", he nodded towards her jacket before continuing, "Now I'm all for the cause... and yes, if this does get ugly it'll be mostly my fault, but please, pleeaaase take off the jacket, or turn it inside out or something... and then we'll just stroll about avoiding trouble in the park like we planned right?"

Fulgrim, you're stupid... stupid stupid stupid, you knew Mal was coming and you just had to go and piss off a crowd, you're reckless, and arrogant and it's gonna be the death of you!, he turned to look back around the tree as his conscience lectured him, things looked like they're calming down a bit

The younger Will would have burst out laughing, but the current Will only chuckled. His hearing was getting more normal as well since the soudns were getting softer. "No. That's not my specialty." Funny how she accuses me of being a Deceit, was it?... when I'm still not too familiar witht he terms.

"Huh? Who's Fulgrim?" Will asked, still looking around. However, he did see Mal and her jacket with some symbol on it. Pepole seemed to edge away from her when she moved through the crowd. Hmm....

Mal looked rather irritated when Fulgrim began complaining about her jacket. As he talked further, she began getting more annoyed. "We can't leave you alone for a second, can we?!" she yelled at him. "What the heck, Fulgrim?" she hissed after, clearly about to remain very irritated as she pulled off her jacket and tied it around her waist, the Deceit symbol inward so it couldn't be seen. She was wearing a green tank top today that showed off what few curves she had.

"I don't expect you want me to remove this, too?" Mal asked, pointing to the sash on her upper arm. "What about your jacket, too, huh? What gives, Fulgrim?"
PostPosted: Thu Dec 25, 2008 10:41 am

"I dunno, I just am getting bad vibes from this whole ordeal" he said as he removed his jacket as well, hanging it off of one shoulder.
"I'm just going with my gut, and it's telling me that it's best not to be flaunting that we're deceit, if some random mob mentality flares up, and that crowd goes ballistic you won't be able to defend yourself, and in reality neither will I..."
He looked down at the ground before continuing
"Mal, I know your proud of who you are, and I know we're trying to show the world what's right, but sometimes to change things you have to first go with them."
He looked up at her
"I hate it too, but I really think it's better if we lay low while in public."
He paused for a moment thinking, "I just don't want anything bad to happen"

Mal stood for a few moments, glaring at Fulgrim while he spoke. When he was done, she stared at him hard, before looking away. "If anything bad happens I'm sacrificing -your- a** to save my own. You're the one who decided to cause trouble." she grumbled, pulling off her arm sash and shoving it into a pocket. Now, she looked like an ordinary, tiny, very pissed off woman.

Candice laughed with an embarrassed tone before sighing. Her ears made a pop like when you're at a high altitude. "Sorry, I just thought that it was possible. I think that humans and mutants should live together, before the humans knew about us there was no problem, and a lot of mutants are starting to think because they have abilities they are high and mighty and can push the norms around." She looked over at Fulgrim and Mal and sighed with slight suspicion. "Maybe we should confront them, but, things might get a little messy if we do."

Will nodded understandingly. "Why not?" he grinned. "With all these people around, if something starts, people are bound to notice!" Perhaps, Will had said this a bit too excitedly. Truth be told, he was looking for something to do and if this was going to be fun and not boring, he was all for it.

She turned with an "Are you serious" expression on her face. Her small mouth gaped open and she stared at him. "You really think? Are you serious?" Her eyes dimmed and she smiled putting her thumbs up. Candice grabbed his hand and tugged on it. "Well, let's go do it then if you're so sure you want to, you know confront to strong mutants from Deceit? It might be a little fun before they skin us alive. If you haven't noticed they both of strong powers and ours are....Kinda not as great."

"Ah, haha. Oh well. Fun it is and interesting it may be." Will continued grinning. He, of course, did not know of what Mal's powers were, and could only guess at Fulgrim's. "Candice, we're not that lame, you know. I'm sure we can come up with something." He nodded and followed Candice.
