hybridphlwr I'm a parent and I LOVE LP!!!! I wished you are parent instead of my mom...she hates LP..she thinks it's weird...I almost got my Reanimation cd taken away...thank goodness it was on my december...she thinks i'm become depsressed and commit suicide...which is never going to happen *hugs the cds* if i did that i wouldn't e able to listen to Lp...parents theses days are so contradicting stressed well you're probably the first i met that actually like LP so I don't consider you contradicting... I wish parents were cool like this especially mine... sweatdrop

I'm gonna say it again. My dad is one of the peoples who got me in to LP. He likes LP more than I do. And that's saying a lot. xd blaugh

Man, my mom doesn't like me and my brothers listening to it, she thinks that eveything that has "heavy" in it means it curses. My dad likes it though,

it's sad how most parents shield their kids... or at least try to shield their kids. it's sad. i truely wish more parents knew how to raise their kids in this era. things happen, hiding it does nothing.

My dad hates the yelling parts, he says the are un needed to make a good song.
How would he know? He listen to classical bullshit.

two words too loud and it's not what they call good music that is the whole reason that they don't like it but my mom is cool she just let's me play it loudly

Just recently (last week), I was reading a thread in this guild, and my mother saw one of the banners. She was shocked and yelled at me.
"You do not need to be involved with Linkin Park!"
I assured her it was only a signature (and exited the guild as quickly and inconspicuously as I could before she could see the guild title); I have no control over what others want to place in it. Sadly, it is now risky to enter this guild at home; I have to do so at school or if I know my mother is out of the house...
I could not but help smile inside, knowing that I listen to "Numb" and "In the End" frequently, sometimes almost to full blast, and she does not care. So long as she never figures out the band (she probably will not; she does not think to look for lyrics online), my music is safe.

my parents like them cause they dont curse in their albums... only in um... LP JAY-Z, and in live in texas, but um... they dont curse so yeah... my parents are kool with that... but um my youth leader thinks they r very suicidal and he worries about it... i am not gonna go comit suicide because of a song...
