I just had a thought...what about, in the background of the tags for those who have their elements, symbols of their element? Just a suggestion...and for others pretty patterns or scenery (faint, of course)

Mind prods Hoshiryuu to revisit that house in a clearing, with a garden in back and the forest encircling the quiet abode. It had been a while, but RD had mentioned something about it, and those who used to visit.
Ya, so, I'm a little busier than I used to be, but I'm really interested in this.
Personally, I'd say it would be interesting to get a little cross shop interaction going on with a few shops I know about. The reason is that the great casual RPs that almost always sprung up in the old shop are the kinds of things that would be great for them, and give us more people and places to RP. Some of them have been going through their own problems.

The Inspired
I have been doing cross shop RPs with my Inspired and Cho for a while and not having any problems. In fact there were a couple FeeDee events where Cho and Hoshiryuu were mistaken IC as FeeDee and Daemon. I also have a Herald adult, though I'm waiting on the art and cert for it.
The live casual RPs were a great way to RP without the problem of plots and waiting for people to post. I know that I have missed that for a while and have been known to start them from time to time in other shops.
As for the fate of Cho, I'd say that I want to go with the idea I had been asking for with the art request way back, lucid old style Cho. That's just how she is, option #1 with the lucid request from way back. It would also be cool to have the healer maiden after being dishonored and expelled. I'm curious about the ideas Setsu has for option #3a. That should give me plenty of mental issues to play with, plus the whole potential for an identity crisis. Good times. Woot for #8's issues.
Also, if a shop lieutenant is needed, I can do that. Making up events is something I'm good for.

I'm here, though tired. Didn't get enough sleep. sweatdrop I blame the weather -- it's snowing outside. And if I don't turn on the radiator it's too cold, but if I turn it on it's too hot. stressed
Goal for the day (night? my sleep schedule is so messed up): OPEN SHOP THREAD so that we can start doing a little RP, and Lynod can get his Porcelain (6A will arrive at the same time.) There won't be a flatsale for quite a bit yet.

Hi, RD~ I'm not sure exactly how RP will play out in the new shop, but I liked the casual style from before. It depends on what the other players want to do. I'm gonna try to open up the shop thread so anyone can go RP in there, and we'll see what style evolves.
The "free redraw/commissions" are still going on, (though there is still absolutely no timetable for them sweatdrop ) and you will get your Gaia!Cho... someday. You're welcome to RP her, but Gaian-style Porcelain aren't going to be supported by the new shop mechanics, due to changes in biology and so forth.
#3a for Porcelain8 is presently a fairly-generic priestess without a hugely detailed background. She plays a super-minor role in the Apologia Porcelain plot (but her actions are crucial to its unfolding.) She has a relationship with 5A, Kouyo, the super-angsty High Priest. xd

*reads through some more stuff and realizes something.* Cho is Cho, regardless of the things that happen in the shop, as was shown the first time the art changed. The only possible change I could see for her would be to become Lucid.
However, if allowed it would be cool to have the #3a option, but I don't expect that to be possible.
Somehow I always seem to have ideas that don't quite fit. Guess that is fitting for how I got Cho in the first place.

RD, you're welcome to ask for #3a 3nodding All old owners can get one of the options. But it'll take me a little while to get her backstory ready, since I want to do 6A and 31 first.
You might be able to roleplay Cho staying physically the same, but becoming Lucid on her own, though. There is a different mechanic for "becoming Lucid" now that basically opens it up to anybody. It'll be posted somewhere someday.

So, if I correctly understood, the art I would want is still going to happen and I can make a seperate decision for the new shop? If so, can just assume Cho is Lucid?

Yes, exactly. Those drawings are independent of the shop, and getting a Porcelain does not nullify your drawing. heart
And yes, Cho can be Lucid, though it won't happen as a sort of "pop, you're Lucid" instantaneous thing; it's more like she'd slowly realize there are no differences between her mind and a Lucid mind, after all.
