Don't know whether it was fixed or not, but the full end of Chapter 10 is displaying for me now, whereas it wasn't about an hour or so ago. Makes much more sense. 3nodding
The professors sparring might be interesting (despite the slight X-Men stigma some may have, it brings back memories of that team training by pitting students against each other's abilities to make for better practice, and smaller, more fiery hoops to jump through).
Ah, the Red Menace. The French connection might be interesting as well. I wonder if the allied departments are allowed to meet, or would that give away too much of the powers each country has?
All the character interplay is nice. I don't really see much need for detailed physical descriptions as yet, since it's easy enough to visualise them - for me - as it is.
Kitten transformation... okay, so no clothes (hey, think laterally - she can distract the enemy xp ), but as long as she stays in it, she's tiny, and that's a definite strategy/stealth/intelligence appeal.

The story But he was already coming at her. [ END OF CHAPTER] Quite a cliffhanger there. whee Needless to say, I'm looking forward to the next one. heart The behind-the-scenes stuff and the exploration of powers is very interesting, I'm hoping for more of that too. biggrin

Mr. Gendou I'm so sorry I haven't been able to keep up! gonk From what I've skimmed, I like it though :3 SAT's are done, for now, so after my homework's done I can finally get some free time to enjoy reading heart

I liked the effect of teachers being scolded by their teachers. Which brings me to wonder whether any of the original Moebius staff are Aberrants.

I wholly agree with Director Price on this one. Or at least, his opinion in 1985. Aberrants are dangerous enough when they're learning to control their powers, but pitting them against each other is a recipe for disaster. Especially when they're not supervised by someone who can smack both of 'em around a bit.
Like Hammond. Whoa. Did he just steal their powers from a distance? surprised
Oooh. Idea. Let's say that Weston and Matthew are matched up for sparring. Matthew needs something to draw from for his shrapnel power, so if he were given a certain quantity of some substance and Weston were wearing armor that was denser than it, Weston's chances of severe injury would be significantly reduced. Similarly, if Matthew were wearing some kind of armor that was largely heat and electrically resistant, he'd be much safer.
Which then brings up another thought - Matthew should be carrying a lump of tungsten or something similarly dense for armor-piercing purposes. Just 'cause.
Possible civilian jobs for these two: Construction worker and wood chipper. 3nodding

Though I AM curious as to how you could increase the cat powers. I mean, unless I want to incorporate cat abilities into my human form, all I can do is just poof and unpoof. Only useful for stealth and information collecting. ....how the hell am I supposed to spar? That was a cool fight. blaugh Man, telekinesis vs. gravity control = win. Hammond's power is cool too. I actually wondered if there would be a power stealer. I also like how Hammond guilt-tripped DV and Def. I think it shows that they really care what he thinks since I guess he was sort a mentor type guy to them. I liked the djinn-floating too. That's true, I forgot about the limited ammo. Matt'd probably have to become more accurate and conservative with his supply than just FLYING METAL DEATH to be more effective on the field; he'd be no use dragging a huge hunk of metal around. blaugh He'd probably have to improvise and use any metal he could find. Speaking of which, I wonder which metals he can shrapnelfy.
