"I might have a bruise, you know." Jack responded as he took Raven's hand, gladly accepting his assistance to climb back up to his feet again. He was a little wobbly. But when Raven slipped his arm around his waist he wouldn't have cared if he'd broken a bone. He gazed up at the blond and smiled, happy to allow himself to be guided carefully down the hall. He pressed close against the strong DJ as they walked, shivering at his light touches.
It really didn't get much better than that in life.
They headed to Raven's room where Raven positioned him down on the luxurious couch and closed the doors. Jack giggled softly at his formal address. Secretly he got a little thrill every time Raven called him boss or sir, even if it was entirely unnecessary. And, if Raven said yes to his proposal, they would be on equal footing. That would be one downside to the offer being accepted. But the benefits more than made up for it.
Jack squirmed on the sofa to make himself comfortable, turning to watch Raven with bright emerald eyes. In his drunken state there was no way for him to cover up the affection that glowed there.
"I'll have what you're having." He purred. Though he knew what he really wanted to have, and his preference was currently mixing the drinks. He watched with an appreciative eye. That shirt did hug his frame very well.

"Hn." Raven smirked in amusement, the file that he had carried back was finally tucked away beside the microwave where other papers stood upright against the wall, splash free zone.
"I'm having a long island...." the blond chuckled. "It's no trouble at all to mix up anything you like." he looked up while he topped his glass, expectantly, and caught the way Jack was looking at him. His head tilted just so, a smirk pulled the corner of his lips into a half smile, slightly smug.

"A long island sounds good to me." Jack nodded enthusiastically, quietly mentally tugging that shirt up and doing a variety of interesting things to that sculpted body in his mind. His cheeks flushed with the thoughts. "Tall, cold, full of alcohol. What could be wrong with that?" The little redhead grinned.
He slipped backwards on the sofa and made himself comfortable, allowing his mind to wander in increasingly delicious and tempting ways as his jade eyes slowly traced every contour of the man mixing drinks. He'd have to distract himself soon or he's end up embarrassing himself sooner or later.
But for now, happy, blush inducing thoughts.
"Raven. Would you like me better if I were a girl?" He asked out of the blue with a sigh.

Alright, that was easy enough then. A second long island was quickly mixed up and he brought the two drinks over setting the first down for Jack on a coaster and taking a sip of his as he took a seat and listening to his boss' out of the blue question.
He wondered for a split moment if this was directly related to the earlier scene down at the bar.
Probably. He kinda shot himself in the foot with that one, sort of.
"If you were a girl, you'd still be you and I'd still like you just the same as now."
A tug of a smirk, hidden from view as he put his drink down, but the smirk was gone when he turned his soft turquoise orbs on Jack, he got up only to rest a knee into the soft plush of the couch by the red head's knees on the outer edge and supported his weight as he leaned over the smaller man with his left hand on the edge of the seat cushion. His right hand cupped Jack's cheek with a surprising gentleness as he searched emeralds slowly.
"I know I am not sensitive and even less do I outwardly show affection, but if there is one trait alone that gives away how I feel, it's the loyalty."
He paused a long moment. The loyalty was being questioned.
"She has the potentiality of being my sister. Although, it's uncertain."

Jack murmured a soft little word of gratitude as Raven set down the inviting drink on a coaster for him. When the blond spoke next, Jack couldn't help but smile. Raven liked him, and would like him no matter what. All the same earlier events and Raven mentioning his desire to get to know that girl weighed on his mind. The smile faltered a little at that thought. He didn't really notice when Raven set his drink down, but the change in position had him glancing up.
Raven was leaning over him, softly gazing down at him. A strong hand reached up to the soft skin of Jack's face with tender gentleness. Jack found himself staring up into deep pools of turquoise. He felt the blood rise in his cheeks, tinting them slightly and no doubt warming the palm of Raven's hand. He was so close.
He knew Raven was not the sort to show affection or his sensitive side. But Jack knew it was there. And even now, despite the fluttering in Jack's stomach and the growing envy of the unnamed girl - an envy fuelled by Jack's own lack of confidence and liquid diet this evening - he never doubted his loyalty. And when Raven finally admitted his thoughts about her Jack felt his heart skip a beat.
"...Sister?" He breathed softly, thinking back to that cute, affectionate girl about his own age. He was still for a moment. Then suddenly he raised his hand and swatted Raven lightly on the shoulder. :Why didn't you say so earlier? Oh, you are insufferable sometimes!" He laughed with relief and amusement. He let his hand stay where it landed on Raven's shirt before sliding it up over the firm musculature and hooking his slender fingers behind Raven's neck. "If there's anything I can do..." he offered with a smile.

Of course I'll stay with you.
Flutter stopped looking around the room to see where the next threat would come from, and turned around to face Kain fully. He drew her into his arms, and began to move her through the motions of a slow dance.
She felt her face flush with excitement, and her heart skip a beat. Then trip along excitedly in response to her reaction to being so close to Kain. The rest of the room faded out of focus for her, she was intent on Kain.
He wouldn't leave her. She wouldn't have to fend for herself in the claws of the women that would stop at nothing to take away from her something, or in this case someone, that she wanted.
Flutter knew what she looked like, and down played herself most of the time. It helped her to deal with the fact that she got passed over nine times out of ten for more voluptuous, and aggressive women. She had thought about aping the things that she'd seen other women get away with, and get a reaction to.
Every time she thought that she would get close to doing anything like that, she felt her stomach flop over, and she would cowardly back away from the deed.
You're....very attractive...
Her brows shot up at the comment that she was sure he hadn't intended on her hearing. She turned her face away from him to hide her expression, laying her cheek against his chest. She squeezed him in a hug, within the embrace of the dance that he was moving her through.
"Thank you." she said quietly, wanting to believe him, but if she gave credit to those precious words of his, then she thought that it would open her up to a world of pain that she didn't think that she was strong enough to deal with on her own.

The blond was altogether entirely unaffected by the swat he'd just received. He learned a little more about Jack in the process, even if he hadn't meant to, it would prove to be valuable information in the future.
"Why didn't I say so... because Raven doesn't have a sister. That anyone knows about anyway. And there is nothing that can be done. I wait until she comes back to see me, if she wants to.
Maybe there is one thing...Put her name on the VIP list, until this is sorted out, I don't want her having any trouble with security or coat check or any of that nonsense. Hopefully she returns to talk when we're not in full swing. And hopefully... she won't bring anyone with her when she comes back."
He paused for a moment.
"But enough about that. Someone's feeling neglected lately I think." he let himself lower, tucking his head just so and gently caught Jack's lips with his own for a moment, then lifted away again, but just an inch. "Am I right?" he ducked under the red head's chin, placing another kiss there and moved along his jaw line to his neck with further teasing kisses.
Drink.
The great enabler.

"Mmhm. Done without question. I would have done that anyway. I want to keep an eye on her too." Jack giggled when Raven asked for her to be put on the VIP list. Jack was a curious fellow and the closer he could get to her the better. Now he was intrigued. She didn't look too much like Raven, though in hindsight there were little similarities now he thought about. But there were other ways she may be like him. He wanted to discover how similar they were. In an odd way it gave him a little thrill. Raven had a sister. Family. Something precious and special. And precious things need to be protected and treasured.
"If she comes back and we're busy, I'll send someone to cover you and you can take her to the VIP area, or if it's too loud you can bring her up here. It's important after all. Hell, if you need to you can just take her outside on the patio, it's quiet there after all. She'll be treated like a celebrity while she's here though. And any friends she brings I can distract for you." Jack sniggered. There were benefits to having staff and friends like Jack did. It wouldn't take much to get Esteban to hunt out some very attractive single guys to wave at her friends.
Raven was attractive, and very distracting. Jack's giggles died off as Raven mentioned his current feeling of neglect. He looked down for a moment. It was true, though his heart was eased a little now. And then there were lips against his, briefly. Just long enough to treat him and short enough to leave him wanting so much more. He was right.
"Mm..." sighed Jack in admittance. Those lips lowered, catching the skin beneath his chin and along to his neck. Jack closed his eyes and whimpered a little in a small breath of a noise, lifting his head as Raven spoiled him entirely. His slender fingers, caught behind Raven's neck, slipped higher to tease through the blond's hair as his free hand rested on Raven's stomach to slip beneath the material of his shirt.
Delicious.

And so that future face palm moment came.
But it was mentally enacted.
Wouldn't want to run this moment.
Everything was blocked out of focus.
The only thing on Kain's mind was Flutter and himself.
If anything was left for the mood and atmosphere was but one thing.
If this song were to be played in the next few seconds.
She called out to his curiosity which wanted to be pleased.
He wanted to know more about her with each passing rhythm of the playing song.
Although he felt something else there.
He felt as if she was sad or depressed about something after that ‘Thank you’.
That weird feeling he gets, which is true just fifty percent of the time.
But, what would ask do?
Kill him?
Hey….Flutter….
Said he, raised his arm and placing his hand on her cheek.
Kain just wanted her to look at him when she answered the future question.
Reading people sometimes was the best way to get to know them.
And Kain could do this when he looked into people’s eyes.
Sometimes you can even notice if anyone is lying by simply looking them straight into their eyes.
Do you feel alright?...

She distantly heard him ask her the question that she'd hoped that she wouldn't have to answer. Part of her was happy that he'd noticed that she was saddened, but then she had to look into his face and think of something to tell him that wasn't a lie.
Because she couldn't lie.
People often thought that she was, because of her brutal straight forward nature. It was brutal because it was unexpected. She'd lived a brutal life, so every moment was spent to it's fullest.
"I feel pretty good actually, but I don't get compliments all that often. I wasn't prepared for that."

Didn't get compliments that often?
Thinking way to much into it, he figured maybe she didn't have the happiest past.
Maybe she got bullied a lot by several different people.
Prying his mind away from his own thoughts, he came back towards her.
I see no reason for you not to be told the truth.
You are very attractive, beautiful and radiant.
I don't doubt that you could blind a dentist with your smile.
She deserved the compliments.
She deserved even more than Kain's share.
Sometimes, when a person isn't all that complimented or not at all, it meant that they were envied.
Or they wanted something that that person had they could never get.
Bu then again, those were Kain's thoughts.
Couldn't be right all of the time now could he?
It's a shame that people envy you so much that they can't compliment you.

"I get a feeling from them of truth or fakeness. When they speak nice things to me, it is because they want something from me. Although they speak compliments, they don't actually mean them."
She felt that she had to clarify her statement because it sounded like he felt sorry for her. She wanted him to feel something for her, but that wasn't the emotion that she wanted to stir in him.
Something warmer, and below the waist would prove interesting at the moment. He was being so serious, he probably wouldn't expect her to do anything right now. She let her hand slide around his waist to rest against the small of his back. She rubbed it gently, so much so that it could be passed off as something that she wasn't aware of doing.
Except that she was aware of it.
"I feel ill when people say things to me that they don't mean. But I think you mean everything you say."

Aah. Of course.
Sucking up to someone to gain something in return.
Such a pathetic way of doing things.
Undoubtedly, he cold gamble the majority of those were men.
That...is just despicable.
That being said with a slight laugh.
After she relocated her hand, Kain felt a bit more relaxed.
You could rub him anywhere and get a different reaction!
But right now, right there, that was a relaxing zone.
He, himself, lowered his hands to Flutter's waist.
He felt heavy on his arms, so lowering them like that took a load off of energy.
Especially since the last dance.
A lot of swinging power had to be done so, yeah.
So.....if I maybe say something like.....'I like you, Miss Flutter'...you would believe me?
A sly smile crept across his lips, slightly pulling her closer.

Slow patient kisses trailed along Jack's collar to his left shoulder and returned only to extend off to his right, Raven lifted, smiling down upon emeralds for a moment as he caught the red head's chin in another kiss and moved higher to catch his lips. Meanwhile the hand that had cupped Jack's cheek trailed down his neck and tugged at certain places loosening material that kept Jack's torso hidden. Tell tale signs that he had a lot more in mind for his boss, a soft and short growl escaped him as he worked to expose him as discreetly as he could.
Meanwhile, Kaori looked up to one way windows with blinds drawn closed and although she couldn't see the pair... smiled anyway, turning to catch her love in a deep kiss. When she pulled away she had that 'let's go have some fun' mischievous look in her eyes.

The gentle but insistent attention of the DJ had Jack in rapture. He craved the man constantly, so every little treat like this was entirely blissful to him. And the drink helped. With emerald eyes closed he let out a soft sound in his throat, thrilling at Raven's lips teasing his warm skin. As the blond rose over him he opened his eyes and caught bright turquoise hues, dancing with desire and mischief like his own emeralds. Jack bit his lip only to have it kissed again. It was getting warm in the room.
Raven had him quite distracted by the kiss as he worked to free his clothing. Jack squirmed a little, eager to be free of it under the larger man's soft touches. His own slender fingers tugged at the bottom of Raven's shirt, pulling it up to expose muscle and flesh that his hands danced across for a moment. He crooned Raven's name as he sought to remove the item of clothing from his frame entirely, feeling the material around his own torso loosen. With a shrug he could make it fall away from him easily to expose tattoos and scars normally hidden.
The growl in his lover's throat had him kissing back hungrily. All of this was having a very obvious effect on the little redhead.
Guyy didn't turn to look up, but he knew what the slight rise in temperature probably meant. He wasn't going to be getting any attention from his old friend for a while it seemed. He was distracted from that thought by soft lips against his own. He leaned into the kiss, drawing Kaori into an embrace and for a moment their tongues danced just as they had.
The look in her eye when they broke apart raised his interest and he held tight hold of her hand as he tugged her through the crowd, knowing there were some surprisingly private places left unattended at this moment.
He liked mischief.
