"Shouldn't more be done before anything becomes final?" Ritosune asks. "What if they are expecting us? I say we should further map out the area. We may not have the numbers, but we surely have the mental ability." He says.

"Ok." Ritosune caught the phone as he put it into his pocket. He held his quincy cross, that was around his neck in his hand. He kissed it lightly before letting it go. He toke two bites of his sandwich before putting the plate in the sink and grabbing the water that he had not yet opened. He shoved it into a small sachet behind him before pulling out a belt which had four Seele Schneider's. He put the belt on. He walked out of the door, heading towards the town.

Asai appeared behind Yumi silently, as he usually did. Since his stay here had begun, he made a note to memorize every window and exit. He usually lurked on the roof or in the nearby trees when people weren't suspecting it. In fact, many nights when nobody was even aware, he would lay there on the roof, just to feel closer to his newfound clan of brethren.
Indeed, the years as a lone Quincy had been rough for him, but now he was ready to do what he had always been meant to do. He would help his tribe, but only as long as it costed equal, for he had sacrificed too much of his life to be the only one doing any sort of exchange there...
"Yumi, it is good to see you, again." Asai whispered in her ear, quiet enough for her to guage his distance from her back.

Asai nodded to her, tis a sign that he was too, glad to see her. He was wondering where people had been lately. Yhung was probably down at his bakery as usual, but he was hoping that Shio and Ritosune would have been able to fetch him without too much trouble.

"Yumi, I wanted to sak you something..." he said, walking into the living room, ushering her to sit with his hands as he himself took a spot on the couch.
For some reason in his mind, Asai had a longing for her to pass up the motion towards the chair he had made and steal the spot next to him on the couch.
He shok this off with merely another blink of his visible eye, and spoke again. "What much do you know of a species called the 'bount'?"

"Well, this turns out to be false, because when I was in sereitei briefly, there were no such hostilities; and basically the Bounts were sort of given allownaces to live in Earth due to the direct impact the shinigami had on their existance in general. Matter of fact, now there is a special forces unit called teh 'Ravens' that is comprised of shinigami and bounts alone." Asai paused, letting what he just said sink in.

Certainly the majority of the information was not fully understandable to someone who did not know of the sereitei's past in-depth enough. But Asai was confident that Yumi had a faint idea about what he meant.
"The bounts gain power from living souls, but have sworn against kiling for some time now. And they use dolls to fight for them, instead of weapons."

Now even he was starting to realize the rediculousness of what he was saying . . .
"Hmph, I was trying to get some insight from you, and all I did was end up sounding like I was giving you a lesson. I apologize." Asai said, trying to read her thoughts.
He just sat there for a minute or two, studying her facial expressions for a hint of emotional display, so he might know what she was thinking.

Asai gave Yumi a quick rundown of things, starting from Serza's illness and going through everything that had happened since. He told her about Ritosune and Shio going off similarly to him being forced to defend the town while the shinigami gates were out of comission. He told her about sending them to find Yhung, even though ther were no results so far. About the Bount's proposition to make Quincy powers available for all humans, and their later departure to hueco mundo.

"So now, even though I feel 12th Division might have re-established a gate to Karakura Town, it is still up to us to defend it." he finished.
"But I have not felt anything lately, suggesting there may be something else brewing. I think we might want to prepare ourselves, and gather who we can to ready our abilities. We'll need to fight with all we have if there is an invasion of Karakura Town."

Asai stood up, and paced back and forth. "I do not fear the Bount, but if their gain comes in the path of our own processes, we might end up having to deal with them too. That is not a pretty option, especially since he dropped everythng to go to Hueco Mundo liek that. It makes me wonder what they are up to as well."
Asai plopped back down on the couch, like he was exhausted. Indeed, his energy had been spent fighting in town before, but he was mentally exaspirated as well.

Yumi stayed silent through the long explanation, nodding where appropriate. It sounded like she should have probably come around more during all this, and felt a bit bad about that. Despite the list of past events though, it sounded more like a sort of prelude to something more intimidating on the horizon. A subconscious shiver went down her spine.

"Not so sure there'll be an invasion here, but I do agree that action on our turf isn't over. Gathering and preparing would be useful in organizing the way we should respond to such things if they happen anyways," She answered calmly.

She open her mouth to say more to his next thing when there was a thud in the kitchen. Jumping to her feet, drawing out her bow just in case, she dashed around the doorway only to stop. Cocking her head to the side slightly and raising a brow she asked, "Shio? When did you get here? And why on the floor?"

Asai was actually feeling quite optimistic hearing those words coming from Yumi. Her voice sounded quite sure of herself, and that confidence alone reminded Asai what it was to be a Quincy again. He looked over at Shio, and nodded to him.
"Well, I say we aught to check around the forest where ther have been random disapperances lately..." Asai said to Yumi, inviting her basically.
"Shio, by the way.. Any word from Rtosune, or Yhung?" he added, awaiting Yumi's reply.
