*giggles* I mutter in Japanese when I'm angry with teachers. To my luck my fourth period teacher happened to live in japan for 2 years and didn't take kindly to me referring to him as 'baka'. xd !

When you pursued someone to say hi because of their looks, and then developed this monstrous crush on them after learning they were fluent in about four or five languages. heart Guilty as charged.

(Dunno if either of these have been said yet; sorry if they have!)

...you accidentally pronounce new English words how you would in a language you're learning.

...you'll say something in a foreign language around a family member who doesn't speak the language and you're shocked when they answer as if you'd just spoken English. They're that accustomed that they do understand some of it.

crying In my opinion, singers always sing better in their mother language than they do in a language that's foreign to them... not necessarily because their mother language is better or anything, but because they're most used to it I guess? I dunno, I find that listening to English with an accent isn't as fun as being able to listen to them singing in their mother language and being able to enjoy how the other langauge sounds. sweatdrop

I totally agree!
They create English versions of their original songs in Spanish, and their voice sounds so different (not in a good way.) They sound weaker and the song lyrics are trite. neutral
So basically, in their mother language, their voices are prettier and their lyrics are more creative. 3nodding

Oy, I did that once.

Or, when you catch yourself before answering in the wrong language, but you have to cycle through about seven different languages to get the right one.

And it's a really simple word like 'Yes'.

xd My poor college English teacher had to wait for me to stutter in Japanese, French, Spanish and German (I was working on our production of Cabaret). Luckily, she knows French and German, so by the time I spat out half a sentence in french she translated for the class.

The worst, however, was when I did that in Spanish class. With French. Constantly.
