Razu was startled at the kiss Layna gave his cheek and his eyes followed the bounce ringing which landed on Kon. His eyes cleared from the remnents of pain,sadness, and anger that had over taken him within the hour. He grinned at Layna stuffing everything away,"I guess we forgot about Kon though if it's him I'm sure he's just sleeping."

Layna blinked and a slow smile touched her lips. She was beginning to feel more and more normal. She was sure things would get better sooner or later. Gabriel whined next to them, his gaze passing between the two. "Mama is okay?" He asked softly, his words clear, his eyes wide. Layna blinked and looked at her son. "A sentence..." She murmured, gently pulling her son to sit in between the two of them, before she glanced up at Razu once more. "You...never told about Lucife..."

Razu's face dropped into a sad yet hateful smile,"Yeah...Lucife Kaminski. He was a very close friend of mine but we always veiwed each other as rivals. He came from my birth village who use to shun me. After I left that place I wandered for awhile and finally came to the U.S. Nearly a year after I arrived here in New York City he showed up. We were down in the city when he turned on me, so he could bring me back to that dreadful village, and nearly killed me. I attacked and killed him. Only...I suppose I didn't. I have no idea how he survived. I used a potent poison on him."

Layna lowered her eyes, rather intrigued and perplexed by Razu's background. She listened to him talk about the man called Lucife and also of his village. She gently patted Razu's arm with a warm hand, trying to comfort him, though she doubt that it was that kind of hurt. "I've noticed by now...that...life just plain hurts. It'll push you down any chance it gets." She smiled slightly. "But...Life has good things too. It's given me much even when it took so much away. "

Razu smiled brightly,"Of course it does! Life isn't completly mean. It tends to play fair. Ceon will find some else to turn his affections on. Maybe he'll get together with Sibyl"

Layna laughed quietly and lowered her eyes, collecting her thoughts. It was strange...She couldn't remember what occurred in the park. "What happened, while we were in the park. I remember Ceon showing up...and then nothing. Blank." She muttered with a shrug, unable to recall. She rubbed her nose lightly, feeling the area sensitive to the touch.

Layna's eyes widened. "He...He did what?!" She pressed her face into her hands, unable to believe that someone who cared so much for Gabriel, would attack the person holding him. "Razu...I have a bad feeling that he won't stop trying to get Gabriel..." It made her feel so angry, so lost. It was nearly the same feeling she had had the first time...the first time she came within contact of the Angel who protected her, cared for her. At least, that was what her mind thought. Nothing else mattered when she saw the ethereal creature.

Razu paused then said,"He won't do that. He was in a craze mood just like you were. He just lashed out at the nearest person who helped his misery come about."

Layna stared mildly at Razu, her eyes slowly turning warm. "You've stuck by me for so long... I don't know what to say to that. I should repay you...seriously." She murmured, sighing softly. She pushed her black hair back, smiling slightly.

Layna crossed her arms, unconvinced at his words. She sat there, a daunting look in her eyes. "Right..." She muttered, raising a brow. "You realize that I can't believe you, right?" she said with a smirk.

Razu pulled out a beautiful ring,"I guess you could take this?"

Layna stared at the ring, her heart beating loudly in her ears. She wasn't expecting this, not even close to this. She raised her eyes to Razu, her eyes wide, and if at all, a little scared. For each ring that was placed on her finger by a man she loved...They ended up dying...

Razu shrugged and laid the ring in fron tof her and backed away,"I'm hungry still and my slice of pizza is laying down with Lucife." He goes to his room face bright red. He sits down on his bed with his pizza and began to munch on it slowly.
