I'm more worried about you right now. Tell me what's wrong and don't tell me you're fine, cause that's not true." Black said as he was trying to get the truth out of her.

"Don't you think we should check on Lord Sekain? It's been a while, i ahven't seen him around." Asami said, peeking over his shoulder. She removed his hand and walked towards Sekain's room.

Black growled inwardly as he followed her inside. Though as soon as they were in a shallow enough hallway, he grabbed her and held her against a wall. "I'm getting sick of this Asami. Either I can bring you back to capital and have someone check you over or you can tell me now. Your health is more important then this 'mission'."

Asami looked at him a bit surprised, but she then smiled and said, "Promise me this, if I tell you, you are to not take any actions and you are not to tell anyone? I don't want to abandon a mission because of me. Promise me this."

Sekain had gotten dressed into layers of Regal expensive looking robes, in order to address the public. Aldon had returned after telling the city of the communion at the town square. "Great news" Sekain smiled as he walked into teh main hallway.

Black leaned forward and gave her a hug. "I would never betray my friends, Asami. You can tell me anything and I'll keep it a secret. I promise."

She was still up against the wall as he hugged her. She looked ot the side and saw Sekain entering the main hall just a few feet away. She gently moved Black away from her so she could push off the wall, "thank you, but first..." Asami walked to Sekain and smiled, "Good morning, what's going on?"

Black looked between Asami and Sekain for a second, a little angry that she stopped suddenly. "Excuse me Sekain, Asami was just about to tell me something important." He said, pulling her into his room and closing the door. "Okay, now you can tell me. Then we'll figure out what Sekain is doing for now."

Sekain nodded in greeting to Asami before Black rudely pulled her away, he sighed and grasped all the papaers he read through and took leave to teh town center.

Asami was surprised when she was pulled away suddenly. "Black that's not how you're supposed to act infront of a-" She stopped as they entered his room. She sighed and said, "I wasn't planning on telling you, really. But, you promised, no actions are to be taken, no one should know about it, but you and I." Asami hoped this was the right choice. She turned around loosened the top of her robe down, so that her back was revealed. A red scar was there from just beneath her right shoulder, slashing down her back, "You see the red mark? It's what makes me high priestess, it was given to me as a gift from my mother, I was chosen." She pulled on her robe again and fastened it, "It was there from birth, and it vanished to hide my identity from others, it's back. It's telling me, I don't have much time. It's not here to hurt me, it predicts my death, and it allows me to know it...so i can live my last few moments as I want it." She turned around and gave him a cheerful smile, "It's natural, but i didn't expect it to be this soon, dying so young, my life span is quite short, don't you think so?" Asami then laughed as if she was happy.

As soon as he heard the news, Black stumbled back towards the bed. He was absolutely speechless and he only found himself capable of sadness. Though he looked up at her, his eyes filling with tears. Yet again, when something good happened to him, there was something else bad that happened. He couldn't figure out what to do, he just sat there and stared up at her.

Asami smiled and said, "Now, we have to focus on our mission." She opened the door and turned back to say< "I have to see what Sekain's up to." She then hurried up to see him leaving the manor and heading into town.

Black solemnly followed behind her. She was acting like it was nothing and he wasn't happy about it. Though he made a promise, he wasn't going to stand by and let it happen. He knew he had to do something about it. As they got into town, he tried to keep himself from being noticed as sad.

Asami kept her distant from Sekain when they reached the town square. She stood in the crowd as if she was a towns folk and listened to what Sekain would announce.

Sekain appeared on the lip of the large fountain at the heart of the city as he saw people gathered around and hanging from windows and perched on roof tops. "People of Flowing Rivers, thank you for joining me here today!" he yelled with a smile. "If you remember I asked for requests and ideas for the improvement of youre glorious city, to help you all feel involved. After careful inspection of hundreds of replies" he smiled as Ruben and Alond held up hands full of documents "I am now able to reply to youre wishes and needs. As requested by many, the rivers and springs will not be pillaged ofr trade water, accept for the one spring on the outskirts of the city!. Another Taven will be build to serve the needs of our ever growin population No offence to you sir" he smiled nodding to the existing tavern keeper. as a chuckle rippled through the corwd. Sections of forest land will be checked out and secured allowing children to explore it safely, Some wish for a connection from the mountains, so a waterfall will be built linking mountain water to the lake, which will be accessible by you, the people, in which to swim" the crowd cheered as many of their wishes were being fullfilled, the main topic was for activities to keep them stimulated. "A public ranch is in proccess of design and finally there will be an area of construction where the market will be moved to permenantly instead of twice a week in this center" he smiled "thankyou all for youre help with this and please continue to write if you have any queries" he smiled and nodded waving to all as he began to leave.
